Decepticon Outpost Tau

"Thrilling. I'm sure." Hook said, not really paying attention to what Shrike was saying.

Hook examined the damage to Shrike, before getting to work upon it.

'Ugh. Of all the careless things to do.' He thought. 'Not the worst damage I've ever had to repair, but still taking up precious time, time I could be using for my little projects, or to sort out this 'fortress'. Nothing could worsen this moment.'

"So, how exactly did you do this?" Hook asked Shrike, for no other reason than so he could laugh once it had been explained.

"Hey, Hook!" Triggerhappy called across to the Constructicon from across the landing pad.

Hook rather violently stopped what he was doing, probably causing Shrike quite some pain as he left what he was doing half finished, while hitting damaged areas as he turned around, not that Hook really cared.

"Ah slag." He muttered. "Not him again." Hook looked up at Bonecrusher and Mixmaster. "Make sure he stays a healthy distance from me, if he gets too close, or does anything that may be a threat towards me, take him down. Understood?" Hook didn't wait for an answer before standing up and facing Triggerhappy.

"Triggerhappy!" Hook shouted back, with mock happiness apparent in his voice. "How delightful to see you again. However, I'm rather busy right now, so we'll have to catch up later I'm afraid." And with that, Hook turned around, preparing to continue his work on Shrike

"Some big blue Autobot, probably important as Lord Scorponok, Quake, Ruckus and myself took the time to assault him, blew himself up and I got hit by the shrapnel." She replied calmly just before Triggerhappy interrupted Hook.
The sudden violence from the interruption did indeed cause her pain, and it's possible Hook has more work now due to the unintended clumsiness breaking something.

She hid the pain well by keeping silent. Her Face plate hid the look of discomfort letting only that anger show. No moment of weakness here, just anger. Not blast'em with her beam cannon angry, but her good mood is pretty ruined now.

When Hook mentioned the desire to be guarded from Triggerhappy the hand of the arm which the Beam rifle is mounted clenches as if to silently volunteer for the task. At least for the time being.
Can't have someone aggravating her temporary medic.

Her rifle. Over half her height in length, stronger than average, and all around a good weapon.
Her combat computer had already designed an upgrade, however. The redesign would be called a 'bull-pup' configuration by Earthlings and it would shorten the rifle's profile and maybe add some accuracy.
Unfortunately she lacks the know-how to make the conversion herself or else she would have by now.

As Hook returned to the task of repairing her she simply hoped he'd get it over with.
It was somewhat apparent he didn't want to be doing this, and really, she wanted him repairing the base more than her, but incase those Autobots attacked before Tau was up and running, she wants to be at 100% to defend the place.

Decepticon Outpost Tau - Magnus' Office

Scorponok took the datapad from Roadblock and began scanning the report downloaded on it. Between what he read on the report and the comments from Roadblock a scowl formed on his face. The sharing of pain between the different components wasn’t entirely unexpected. To give the main Transformer body perfect control over the shells it was required to tie together their nervous systems to a certain extent. To find out that it was a potential weakness in the process was troubling as it was integral to it. He couldn’t simply remove this weakness without reworking the entire process. It would have to be worked through and kept secret.

Roadblock, consider that information on the Pretender shells classified. Discuss it with no one outside of high command.”

The Decepticon commander then turned his attention to the newly arrived Scrapper. Now it was truly time to bring the Tagan Heights back into the Decepticon Empire. “Scrapper, your first priority is to restore this base back to full power or at least close to it. We need to be prepared to fend off an Autobot counterattack. Once power is restored begin repairing or replacing whatever defenses there are. We cannot allow the Autobots to simply come back and push us back out of here.”

"The Constructicons are already surveying the damage, Lord Scorponok, we'll have a full repair schedule tallied and underway within breems." Or at least we will if the team is operating at optimum capacity. With Hook as jumpy as he is now, that might be a assuming a bit much.

"Our only requirement is building material for the task: Is there any usable supplies at hand, or will we have to secure our own? I'd prefer not to rip up half of the local factories to get the neccesary ferrocrete."

Decepticon Outpost Tau

Breakdown was feeling a little better after having his fuel pump repaired. He made his way down the brightly-lit hall. He froze as he came face to face with an Autobot sigil that had been missed. His optics light with fear, its unseeing eyes stared back at him. He stumbled backwards tripping over himself falling into the hall where Motormaster stood. His superior was speaking to one of the Constructicons. He looked up from where he was.

“Hey Boss………”

Breakdown waved his left hand meekly at Motormaster, and clumsily tried to stand.

“Uh … didn’t know you were down here. Anything interesting happening?”

Decepticon Outpost Tau

Hook noticed the gesture made by Shrike.

"Thanks." He said to her as he continued the repairs. Hook had rather taken a liking to Shrike.

'Now here's a Decepticon you could rely on' He thought. 'I'd even go so far to say she's the sort of 'Con you'd want watching your back on the battlefield. One you could really depend on. Of course I could be entirely wrong. In fact she has by far been one of my better patients'

"Sorry for the jolt back then. I am sure it was most unpleasant." Hook said to Shrike, apologetically. Which was something he rarely did.

Suddenly, Hook jerked again as somebody tapped his soldier. Whirring around, again perhaps causing Shrike further pain, which was something he wanted to avoid, Hook laid optics on Triggerhappy once more.

"What do you want! As you can see I am sorting out Shrike's wound! I have said that we can catch up once I am done. Now leave me be!" He cried at Triggerhappy.

"Sorry, no can do." He said. "It's my turn now. Sort me out first, like you promised and then you can come back to her." Triggerhappy said, raising his hand at the end to point to Shrike

"I made no such promise! I have said I will sort you out later! Now. If you don't mind, I have more important business to attend to first." And with that, Hook turned around, about to get back to repairing Shrike.

Triggerhappy sighed. "I'm sorry it has to be this way." He said as he raised his photon machine gun to Hook's head. "But if you aren't willing to keep your end of the deal. Then I guess I'll have to finish what was started."

Bonecrusher wasn't the kind to denounce violence as a method of getting what you wanted, nor was he terribly opposed to the arrogant Hook getting his neurals mulched, but he had his orders. Also, this way it got to be him that perpetrated the violence.

Bonecrusher's pistol pointed itself at the side of Triggerhappy's head. "Hook said he's busy. Now take a hike, or else they'll have to rename you Trigger-Scrap-py." Bonecrusher was proud of his little pun. He'd been thinking of it for most of the flight.

One of Mixmaster's nozzles also deployed, the operator unsure whether to use industrial-grade sealant, concrete, or simply a potent acid. "You heard us, so you'll be leaving then, right, right, right?"

Triggerhappy lowered his weapon.

Turning to Bonecrusher and Mixmaster, he started to laugh, very loudly.

"Triggerscrappy! Hahahaha! That's a good one! However, there is no need for this violence. I meant no harm to any of you. Although, I can see how my gesture was misinterpreted. You see, I was simply going to leave my weapon with Hook for him to repair it later. Hahaha! I really should be more careful with my body language though, shouldn't I?" Said Triggerhappy, much to the bemusement of everyone around him.

'This is insane.' Hook thought. 'There is something seriously wrong with that Decepticon, he can no longer be allowed to function like this.'

Hook stood up, and walked behind the still cackling Triggerhappy. He raised his hands, curling them into fists and brought them down on the insane Decepticon's head. Triggerhappy let out a yelp and then slumped to the floor.

"There. That should keep him out of the way until Lord Scorponok can decide what to do with him." Hook turned around to face Shrike once more. "Now." He said calmly. "Where were we?"

Motormaster didn't share formalities with Scrapper, he merely motioned the Constructicon leader to keep mowing after sharing the knowledge upon the whereabouts of Scorponok and Roadblock.

Just as everything seemed to be falling back to the all consuming nothingness Motormaster felt between battles, Breakdown decided to stumble about. It was unlikely that the paranoid scout had decided to just come and find him after having his leg repaired. His gang hardly ever did. Wildrider and Drag Strip were clearly trying to avoid him. They had even had the guts to ask for a new assignment from Roadblock to avoid him. He was perfectly fine with letting those two believe he didn't know for now. Pressing the poor buggers too much wouldn't keep them effective and besides it opened up new opportunities to torment the duo later. Then again, with Breakdown it was perfectly possible that he didn't just want to be alone due to all of his paranoia.

Surprisingly enough, despite the fear and loathing the other Stunticons felt towards their leader, they always returned eventually. They also shared common past long way back before there were Decepticons in the first place. They had been a notorious street gang long before they had decided to compete in underground pit fighting arenas. Even after joining the Decepticons he had maintained the command over his gang propably because Megatron had realized that the Stunticons needed an authority figure that would not fear them, someone that would never show any weakness. Someone so cruel and powerful that he would strike terror deep into the very sparks of a bunch of psychopaths as the Stunticons were. And Motormaster had been more than happy to fill such a familiar role instead of them being assigned to different Decepticon groups. Not that he wouldn't have managed. Would the others have was entirely different thing.

"Oh yes." Motormaster finally replied to Breakdown, an evil grin crossing his face. "Someone following you?"

"No problem." She says to Hook. It is fairly true that she would look out for those who looked out for her. And the case with hook was one of them. Her combat computer had already began assessing Triggerhappy for the best methods in making him pay.

Triggerhappy wasn't very amusing to the crimson femme.
Shrike was Astroseconds from leaping over Hook and brutally mauling the inconsiderate bot for the interruptions to her medic.
Her emerald optics were glowing, and she had become obviously angry. It was one of the few times her stoic nature had broken.
Her anger only slightly receded from her masked face as she saw Triggerhappy get blasted into unconsciousness. It's far more more mercy than she would have shown. He would have gotten a good look at a light at the end of the tunnel that would have been her rifle barrel with a charging round, and would have gotten a few more ventilation ports by the time she were done. He might survive.

She would have chalked it up to self-defense, and it being justified as Triggerhappy had caused her pain, and hindered her repairs numerous times. Further he threatened a Constructicon.
She'd say treason if she could, and be the executioner.
Indeed, Triggerhappy had crossed the line, and also lucked out in avoiding her wrath within moments.

"Thank you." She says to Hook after he smashed Triggerhappy over the head dropping him like a bad habit. She recapped the repairs on her complex thruster assembly, hoping to be repaired with no more interruptions.
She regained her patient composure, and would wait out her repairs hoping it'd be completed uneventfully, but nothing is ever certain.

Breakdown got up with a clumsy dignity.

“No, but those pitt lovin Aoutobot sigils give me the creeps…….. their eyes ….. always Watchin!”

Breakdown rubbed his hands together as he finished speaking. Realizing that Motormaster had a very strange smile on his face, the stunticon looked back at him quizzically.

“We got an assignment already boss?”

Breakdown leaned to his side to look past Motormaster and down the hall hoping to see the rest of their crew, but was sadly disappointed. Standing straight again he looked up at Motormaster. He knew the Constructicons were there, and he heard talk that more Cons were rumored to arrive at some time, but he doubted anyone interesting was coming. He wasn’t thrilled to be in the same vicinity as his boss but it was better than being alone with all those optics watching him. He could take a few harsh comments from Motormaster for now.

"Amateur, eh?" Wildrider says, chuckling as he pulls a small set of wires down and out from a rather large Autobot insignia in the middle of a corridor.

"Lessee an amateur do this!"

Cackling with protoformic glee, Wildrider hits a rudimentary trip command that sends the insignia blasting off of the wall entirely before crashing on to the floor in flames. Yeah, this was a welcome break from Motormaster's unique brand of team spirit.

"That's propably what they are doing, wouldn't you think?" Motormaster smirked and continued with glee. "Watching... and recording our every move."

"Just think of the all surveillance equipment the Autobots must have left behind. Think about everything they must know about you." The mean-spirited Stunticon leader added, clearly ignoring Breakdown's questions about a possible assignment.

Elsewhere in the Decepticon Outpost Tau

Drag Strip was becoming worried. Sure, he had no doubt he could take out more insignias out faster than Wildrider. But now it seemed that the competition had turned into something else. A contest of how creatively one destroyed his targets. And Drag Strip sure did not like it for Wildrider's creativity was boundless when it came to destruction...

Decepticon Outpost Tau - Magnus' Office

Standing and acknowledging Scorponok's order to keep quiet about the Pretender technology, Roadblock saluted his commander. His optics found Scrapper as the Constructicon honcho entered and reported to Scorponok.

"Construction materials?" he interjected. "One thing that Ultra Magnus an' the rest of 'em didn't have enough time ta delete their files on," Roadblock elaborated. "Sloppy. Guess they forgot ya can't run a war effort without supply lines, an' just got rid of the strictly military data. I didn't peruse 'em...not really my forte, buildin' things. I'm more in the field of blowin' 'em up. But feel free, Scrapper."

Stepping past the others in the commodious doorway, Roadblock informed them of his intentions as he walked out of the city commander's Office.

"I'm checkin' the troops. Scrapper, I'll meet you out there."

The hulking ground forces commander exited, his always-purposeful strides carrying him toward the mechanoid that had managed to make him look bad - an' all over a slaggin' simple assignment. What's the Empire comin' to...

"That will be most helpful, Road Commander". Scrapper moved to let Roadblock past, then walked over to the computer. He began searching through the inventory files, while purposely ignoring other, potentially valuable information not relevant to his task. The intelligence mechs will be here soon enough to deal with that.

It was all there, inventories of the spare parts at hand in the base, the remaining supplies in the local factories, and repair logs for the past mega-cycle including the damage report from the Decepticon's preliminary raid. Scrapper hastily copied this data to his personal systems, copied it to his datapad, and activated his radio. >>Long Haul, Scavenger, I'm sending you the Autobots data on their supplies in the region. That'll make your job significantly easier. Concentrate on securing ferrocrete, steel, and other mass building materials to rebuild the walls. The rest of us are headed to repair the power.<<

His task done, Scrapper once more saluted to Scorponok, and headed out of the office.

Outpost Tau - Outside

"I coulda done that", moaned Bonecrusher as he looked down at the unconsious Triggerhappy. "I'da done it so he'd stay down permanent-like. Ya gotta, y'know, deler-gate, Hook, let each member of the team do his job."

After getting out of Astrotrain along with the rest of the constructicons, Long-Haul was atleast fairly happy that he was near some front-lines; but disappointed due to his orders. Which he had recieved from Scrapper.

"I recieved your data, Scrapper, and awaiting Scavengers material finding nose."

Turning his optics over to his brother he crossed his arms. "So Sniffer, You find the materials, and I'll carry them in my keister?" was the sarcastic question from the Materials Transport.

Scavenger was perfectly happy to help out with the Constructicon's mission, but would have preferred a less dour partner. "Don't worry Long Haul, Scrapper's map says the nearest steel and 'crete supplies aren't all that far away. I'll help you carry some, and we'll be done in a few trips. Then we can get down to proper building, surely that'll be more agreeable for you."
Scavenger led the way, transforming to vehicle mode to use his shovel and it's sensing equipment. I don't doubt that Scrapper's got the right info, but it pays to be sure. And maybe my shovel'll find something else of interest.

Scorponok nodded at both Scrapper and Roadblock as they moved to continue their work. The occupation of the Tagan Heights seemed to be going smoothly, more smoothly than he would have initially guessed. That put him on edge. He doubted that the Autobots would simply allow them to repair and integrate the vast capacity of the Heights into the Decepticon Empire without some sort of fight. This quiet wasn’t going to last.

As if on cue the Decepticon general received a high priority signal. A frowned formed on his face and he broke out into a brisk walk down the corridors, his giant feet sending slight tremors through the hallways he moved through. >>”Roadblock, meet me at landing pad 1. Megatron has arrived.”<<

Megatron’s shuttle

Megatron has listened to Thunderwing’s opinion in silence. The other Decepticon was obviously forwarding his own agenda. The removal of a higher ranking Decepticon would open up opportunities for his own advancement. It was a common occurrence among the Decepticons, even among the uppermost ranks, this jousting for position and rank. It was a basic tenant of their cause, the strong would rule over the weak. As the leader though, he had to make sure it did not get out of control. Empires were built on the shoulders of the weaker, the laborers and the common foot soldiers. You couldn’t afford to eliminate all of the weaker elements.

That wasn’t to say that Thunderwing’s ideas weren’t without merit. Megatron had been thinking along some of the same lines as the Valckastan had suggested. The harnessing of resources from this other planet presented a unique opportunity. It was a possible way of removing certain, more troublesome elements, but that would have to be balanced out by sending someone competent and reliable enough to make sure the job was done. He considered the possibilities as he brought the shuttle down for a landing.

The Decepticon commander stood up. “We have arrived.” He made his way to the hatch.

Decepticon Outpost Tau - Landing Pad 1

>>Acknowledged.<<

Roadblock altered course and headed for the first of the Outpost's several Landing Pads upon receiving Scorponok's order. The wayward Shrike's comeuppance would have to wait, at least for the time being.

Wonder what the Slagmaker wants with us here, the ground forces commander pondered as he arrived in time to watch two craft touch down on the large Landing Pad. Inspection tour of the newly-captured territory, I guess. Or he's handin' out free energon an' promotions fer everyone. Heh, yeah, right.

On board the Longshot, Weirdwolf eased the control stick to the left and downward to gently set the antique gunship onto the tarmac. Once the landing struts were engaged and locked in place, the tracker activated the self-defense protocols and opened the primary hatch for the party to debark. Standing up from the pilot's seat, he looked to his comrade.

"Skullcruncher, go let us. Heights Tagan we have arrived at."

He marched out of the cockpit to exit the gunship.

Megatron's curt statement of their arrival in the Tagan Heights unnerved Thunderwing slightly, but he did not place too much stock in the Emperor's brevity of speech after his own admittedly verbose remarks about the mission to Planet AC488. Megatron rarely wasted words, despite his well-deserved reputation as a master orator and inspirer of warriors. If he approved of Thunderwing's ideas, he would say so soon enough. And if Megatron had disapproved, Thunderwing would likely have already known it.

Standing to allow the Emperor of Destruction to exit first, as was respectful and proper, Thunderwing was curious to see the condition of the vast factory complexes of the Heights. The one region still worth conquering, I must say...no one profits from holding a blasted wasteland. His thoughts drifted to Polyhex, where Shockwave commanded the sizable Decepticon force that held the blasted, war-weary city-state.

Motto: "Feed them to the Sharkticons!"
Decepticon Outpost Tau

Since Breakdown had left, there really hadn't been anyone left to talk to in the Repair Bay. Fast-Track was still around, but he almost didn't really count. Ruckus could never quite shake the feeling that talking to the semi-autonomous drone unit was tantamount to bothering Scorponok when the massive Decepticon Warlord might not care to be bothered.

Crazy he might have been. But no one could ever accuse the Triggercon of being suicidal.

The rest of the repairs passed in silence. Once he was at roughly 83% capacity, Ruckus slipped off the examination table, wobbling slightly as he tested out his new knees. It was going to take whole cycles to work the stiffness out of them, but that was fine. They kept him upright and basically mobile; what else could a mechanoid ask for from a pair of legs?

Though the worst of the damage he had sustained during the battle for the Heights had been taken care of, Ruckus was still wearing a number of scars. His lower legs were mismatched, as was his left arm. And the left side of his face had been only hastily patched with a sheet of Cybertronium alloy that covered his ruined left optic and extended all the way down to his lower jaw.

Oh, yeah. He was looking sharp.

"Right," he announced gruffly. "That's enough downtime, I think. Time to go see what I can do to get this place up to the Empire's standards. I mean, what if Megatron decides to make a surprise inspection? We'd all be up the waste reclamation chute then, wouldn't we?" Ruckus gave a gravelly chuckle. As though their leader would just show up at a bombed out ruin like this when he had a whole war to run from back in Kaon.

The Longshot - Cargo Hold

Silverstrike's earnest statement of trust meant a great deal to Mindwipe. Yet as he searched her optics for any sign that she felt as he did, (And how exactly DO you feel? he asked himself.) he found none. Perhaps he had been mistaken? Perhaps the change he felt was only within himself?

Deciding to pursue the matter later, in more fitting circumstances, the hypnotist hid himself once more behind the mask of the genteel eccentric. "Thank you...My Shining One. I shall...endeavor to prove worthy of such trust. Yes." He bowed cordially to the glimmering femme.

Moments thereafter, both fliers could feel it as the craft began to descend. "It would seem...we have arrived. Yes." Moving closer to Silverstrike, the shrikebat placed his hands on her shoulders.

"I know that it may prove...difficult, under the watchful gaze of your father, but I would like to see you again soon. If you can...if you would...find the time to speak. Away from the curious auditory systems of our...taskmasters. Yes."

The gunship touched down with a shudder. With one last gaze backwards, the necromancer departed the cargo bay.

Decepticon Outpost Tau

Breakdown cringed at Motormaster's words. His optics scanned the walls for surveillance systems. ~this is why I'd never be able to handle Polyhex.~ He thought to himself. Shockwave loved cameras.

“Well if their spying on us then we need to take those systems down........”

He looked around in an exasperated manor.

“I bet they let us win Tagan just so we would move in and they could watch our every move. I bet Prime is sitting back right now watching us and laughing. How much you wanna bet they have an attack planned...... because you knew all along they were watching us.”

The smaller Stunticon looked around wildly for any sign of a blinking light or the small subtle movement of a camera.

Landing pad 1

Silverstrike bowed her head as the Hypnotist placed his hands on her shoulders. She lowered her gaze. Turning her head to look at the door as the shuttle landed. His words washed over her as she carefully considered what the outcome of her actions would be. After a moments pause she answered him.

“I believe Thunderwing will be preoccupied with the attentions of our Lord Megatron. But you are right, I don’t expect our superiors would appreciate a commando and a seeker spending so much idle time together. Though…… if we resumed our training schedule, there could be time to speak alone.”

She turned her gaze back to him, and slipped gently out from under his hands. She left the cargo hold with him, pausing in the doorway to allow the others to exit before her.

The argent mistress of the blade stepped gracefully down from the Longshot, her optics searched the hanger for Thunderwing. Standing beside Clench’s team the silver femme looked small and delicate compared to the well built commandos. The attention of her father was upon the High lord Megatron, not surprised she turned her gaze to the others in the hanger and came to rest on Roadblock. Her optics narrowed for a nanosecond, he appeared to be in strong functioning order. It still did not change her mind, she would hold strong her opinion no matter what Thunderwing said. Though she knew her creator believed her concerns to be paranoid and emotional. Anger bubbled in her processors, he rarely took her seriously.

Decepticon Outpost Tau - Outside

“Yes, well, I’ve been wanting to do that for quite some time now, should he get up again I’ll let you deal with him.” Hook replied to Bonecrusher as he began repairing Shrike once more.
A while later, Hook was finished with the repairs. He stood up and looked at Shrike, smiling.
“There.” He said to her. “Done, should you have any further problems, contact me.” And with that, he turned back to Mixmaster and Bonecrusher. “Now then, what to do with him?” Hook asked them as he pointed at the unconscious Triggerhappy.

Decepticon Outpost Tau - Power generator

Where other transformers would have seen a mess of twisted wreckage and molten metal, Scrapper saw what once had been a fully operational and actually rather well-designed set of power generators. Gazing through the hole in the cieling left by the attack, Scrapper reconstructed the events of the battle just as he had mentally reassembled the shattered machinery.

It seems the primary damage was a set of planted explosives to knock them out: obviously sabotage. The damage wasn't as severe as it was targetted well. Then there seem to have been partial repairs made..., he noted as he stepped over the remains of a fallen repairbot who had stayed in the room too long, only for one of our heavies to blast through the wall and 2 side rooms to slag half the generators.

They really should have built it underground.

Moving downstairs to the secondary generators, Scrapper found a much prettier sight, even as he noted the laser scars and shrapnel that covered the room. The primary rooms pretty much slagged, it'd been to be basically redone from scratch, but these are lightly damaged and we can get them online in a matter of breems if we get on it.

Scrapper stood up from the power relay he'd inspected, and flipped up his radio screen.

Outside

Mixmaster looked at Triggerhappy, then up at Hook with a placid gesture. "Well, I'd assume that we'd, we'd, just leave him here and go about our business, our work. He'll have learned his lesson, won't mess with us again, will respect us in future. I'd assume."
"Slag that!!", Bonecrusher interjected. "If this wingnut is dumb enough to mess with us once, he's dumb enough to do it again. I say we mix him in with the 'crete and make him part'o the wall."
At this point Scrapper's message tunes in through Hooks radio. >>Constructicons, we have our first assignment. Meet me in the power generators: You can get to them directly through the medium-sized hole just underneath the ruined radio tower. We shouldn't need Bonecrusher, he can help Long Haul and Scavenger with supply procurement.<<

>>Fine, we shall make our way over to you at once. However there is a problem I would like sorted now rather than later. Triggerhappy, it would seem has finally lost it, more so than before. He attacked me and endangered my safety. What shall we do with him?<< Hook replied to Scrapper

'Please say mindwipe' Hook thought joyously, however he expected a far less effective method would be employed to cure Triggerhappy of his ailment.
