Well just to update you all, I've given the game another chance. And my opinion of the game has improved. I went out of my way to do the zombie genocide achievement and got ending B(I think). So you know what that means? That's right. The Real Megaman Buster! And I got my guy up to lvl 40 doing so.
And I solved a couple of the problems I had with the game. The major one was how I can't see a damb thing in the dark. No matter how much I turned up the brightness and contrast and stuff on my TV I could not see more than a foot in front of me. But then I found a toy store that had light-up Armada Megatron Swords! And that certainly helped(makes me wish I had a real one now). Thouhg they only seem to work some of the time. And why they could just give me a freaking flashlight, IDK! All those security guards and cops walking around and not a single flashlight on them? And they turn of all the lights in the mall at night. And the ones that are on, don't elunate anything! Heck your home base is the security room, and you can't tell me that there are not some kind of lighting controls in there. If they're trying to be realistic, be realistic. If you were in mall full of zombies, why wouldn't you turn on every damb light in the place so you know exaclty where they all are?!
There's also stuff like how when unlock a move, it doesn't tell you how to do it! I unlocked like 10 moves before I figured out you gotta check your status to learn how to do the moves. If they're gonna tell you how to shot a camera, or attack, or use your map, stuff that any idiot can figure out simple by press each button to see what it does, they should tell you the little move complex stuff.
The only problem is by the time I got it, I had almost no time to enjoy it b/c I had to return it. That's one of the main reasons I wanted to rent the game is to dress up like MegaMan and blast stuff. Why? B/c I really miss the MegaMan Legends games. Some may say they suck, but I think they're the greatest in the whole franchise.
So with the few hours I had left, I started a new game. At first I wasn't impressed by the Buster. Sure it kills zombies in 1 hit, so what? Then I got that Calito dude. I popped him in the head with a pistol a couple times, but then I said screw it and wipped out the Buster. I take 1 shot at him and BAM! He didn't have time to run behind the restaurant signs. Heck, there wasn't even enough time for his health meter to hit zero before the cutscene began!
Then I pwned those convict assholes in the car, then I pwned that stupid clown, and then I
tried to pwn that gun store hic, but I was kind of running low on health and even though I was behind the display, he still managed to hit me every time I was trying to drink.
So I'm dead, and ofcourse I didn't save b/c I thought I could pwn everybody and like I said before, the save system sucks. And then I took the game back.
Now I'm wondering if I should rent it again and get the real ending and some more achievement points. Or should I buy it and play it to death? Or should I say screw it and not bother getting it again at all?
