Art Bell, legendary radio host and creator of Coast 2 Coast AM, passed away yesterday at the age of 72 under as yet to be determined circumstances, but it was know that he was suffering from health issues later in his life.

As an avid listener of Coast 2 coast AM for years, and a fan of Art Bell’s other work after retiring from the show, I, for one, am saddened by this news. He had an extremely open, discerning and astute mind and covered topics that didn’t receive much publicity in mainstream news syndications due to the unexplainable nature of circumstances surrounding the topics. (Like Cryptids, UFO’s, The Paranormal, Conspiracies, etc.)

The radio and paranormal community has lost one of the all time greats!

Rest In Peace Art Bell, I hope the great beyond provides you with all the answers you were searching for in life.

I used to listen to C2C AM back when I worked nights.
Crazy stories sometimes. Admittedly I missed Bells heyday but it was always interesting to hear him when he'd occasionally come back.

My Dad was a big fan of his radio show. I have always enjoyed spooky things, Xfiles and the like. I have always had an interest in UFOs and ghost stories. Not sure if I truly believe in them but they are interesting.

Also he died in Friday the 13th. Coincidence?

Oh wow, I hadn’t even considered the date .. also, this year falls into the 33rd year since the founding of Coast 2 Coast AM. 33 is a very significant number in occult circles.

Edit: realized my math was off by a couple years. Rambling thoughts.

Also, it’s being reported that his cause of death is chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. That sucks.

Either way you know people are going to have conspiracy theories about his death. I think he would probably not want it any other way.
