The funny thing is that I really never liked G.I.Joe. I remember so well when I was a kid that I loved so much the Transformers and felt G.I.Joe was boring. I remember trying to watch the cartoon 2-3 times and disliking it... But I'm going to watch the movie when they release it in the movie theaters. But it's fun because I do remember that so well and I was a fanatic about Transformers, but aren't we all?

Scarlet and Baroness look great!

SnakeEyes and StormShadow also look dam good but for completely different reasons.

As for the rest, it's not realy doing anything for me.

I aint a Joe fan.
but it looks alright.
The Destro thing, I dont really care.
I'm guessing he gets in an accident later on and gets a silver head.
I mean, it could've been a way worse adaption like the Super Mario Bros. movie.

im liking this film but all but destro i dont like but maybe the director of the film will smarten up and have destro injurde just like snakeeyes and he will have no choice to have a metal mask on his head just like dr doom in fantastic four 1&2

That seems like a no-brainer.
I would also like for them to switch Heavy Duty with Roadblock.
It just seems like Roadblock is more memorable to fans.

My only big gripe is that Storm Shadow looks SO FREAKIN GAY!!!!
Hopefully he'll take the Movie Megs path and look gay in the preview pics, but in the actual flick, he'll kick ass even if he looks stupid.

Interesting.......Great casting on Destro. He's always been good at nasty scheming types. (was good in 'Gone in 60 Seconds' in a similar but much more low key role)

Only other guy i recognise (other than the big names + Ray Park) is the guy playing Heavy Duty. He was the chief of tribal security in Ace Ventura 2. Back then he was just called Adewale.

I was thinking more along the lines of how crap-tacular the orignal series was. That works too.

Between Boll and the Super Wachowski Bros. (Someone get to work on that) I'd pick the Wachowskis.

Hopefully they don't use the Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity acronymn too much because it seems a bit redundant.


I can understand the standard black uniform, but it may make it difficult at times to distiguinish characters when they are running or diving about, especially if they use the same lighting effect as in the pictures.

From what I've read Destro will have the mask with an explanation on why he wears it. Maybe it's to keep his identity secret when he does illegal activities so he can keep people from finding out his legit company supplies one of the most dangerous(if not the most dangerous) terrorist organization.
I'm hoping we'll get to see images of Cobra Troopers if they are in the movie. They'll probably end up with suits somewhat like the Joes wear.
Snake Eye's mouth on his suit looks kind of odd, but cool at the same time. Storm Shadow looks like he's taken from an anime or video game. I wonder if they will change Hawk's look if they introduce Flint in a sequel, or if they will give Flint a different look. I'm hoping they add Doc later on, because someone needs to patch them up and since he's not much of a fighter he wouldn't have to do much more then that.
Overall I like how the movie is looking and can't wait to see it and the figures they make.

I think an iron mask would be a stament of power and intimidation which would only promote, and glorify an ILLEGAL arms dealer, especialy on of his suposed magnatide.

Never really got into GI Joe but I can appreciate why some would like it when there is stuff like Pokemon kicking around still. I would rather watch GI Joe in that case.

What the hell is with all the fanboys and fangirls at AICN? They are just bashing to crap out of this like they do Transformers. Now I wasn't crazy about alot of the Transformers movie aspects. But I loved the robot designs and I like the new Joe costumes. AICN is just bashing the crap out of the costumes and calling this Gay Joe and G.I. Jino or something like that.
