Beast Wars actually was horrible though.

I prefer the movies and unicron series over that junk.

I'm not joking either I hated all the characters mostly Cheetor and Rattrap only things I liked in that show were Megatron and Dinobot

Not junk! Just old animation! ;)

Below PS2 quality.

It was the eighties, what do you expect? >:oP

Son. Beast Wars was the 90s, and a key part of my childhood. Please stop making me feel even older than I already do.

Not to mention it came out **** BEFORE THE PS2, so obviously it would have lower quality graphics. But even then, it's above the actual gameply graphics, if not necessarily the cutscene video graphics. God man, their even making ME feel old. Damn kids.

Lol at the fact that you guys think I called the animation junk.

The animation was another great thing too its better then some the 2d stuff we have gotten with say Animated (I love Animated just hate the style)

I don't like the plot and how the story went especially when it went into Beast Machines (ugh) it also does not help that I really dislike animalformers (The organic ones not guys like Ravage or the Predacons) but I would not let that dislike get in the way of trying to find entertainment in the show.

I did not it felt like a chore.

Anyway. Beast Wars was awesome. What it lacked in animation it made up for in writing quality and character development. (usually) To each their own, of course, but I'll take it over Bayformers any day. And I'd feel about as vehemently opposed to Bayformerized Beast Wars as most people did to Bayformers in general.

Lol I'm sorry I am used to saying "eighties", but yeah, it was the nineties. :P

But yeah, I enjoyed Beast Wars, especially Waspinator! ;)

Though, I wonder how they got away with making Blackarachnia's bust so, well, natural.

They got away with quite a lot of stuff in that show. Blackarachnia's chest was one of the tamer things. And as a kid, it didn't even really register with me that she was supposed to be sexy. I just saw her as a female with a female shape. Then again I was a bit of an oblivious kid....

To keep this on topic, Bayformers Blackarachnia would throw subtlety out the door and there would be jokes about her figure every other line.

And it sucked too. So saying it was the best is not saying a lot. What they should do is produce a bunch of animated mini movies that are for fans and not just money making toyline advertising cannon fodder. Get a little edgy and less LAME!

Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner Talks Hasbro Transformers Future, Cinematic Universe, Mentions Bumblebee

Postby Va'al » Fri May 29, 2015 3:17 am

Motto: "Till All Are Pun!"
Hasbro recently attended the 2015 Global Consumer conference, in New York, and made the webcast available to media outlets - we took the 40 minutes out of our schedule to listen through it and pick out all the Transformers highlights from Brian Goldner, Hasbro CEO.

While the talk included several of the brands under Hasbro's control, from Star Wars to My Little Pony to various Disney franchise brands, Transformers was picked upon a number of times, and there was some news from upcoming Transformers toylines and entertainment, and the addition of an Animatronic toyline, with nothing more really mentioned (and may not be Transformers related) planned for the future. But the bigger news comes from the segment on the movie front of the franchise, and their current plans for the brand - including a mention of Bumblebee so small that it apparently makes the news all over the internet. Make of it what you will, below.

Last year was Transformers 4. Which happened in the second quarter and was quite a good success for us last year. We've begun to work with writers and we are now developing the Transformers Universe beyond the first four movies. And we are continuing to have Television on the air with Cartoon Network where Transformers is performing quite well through the first quarter coming off of a movie year.

As we go forward, we would imagine several more Transformers Movies. Not just in the current lineage but also spin-offs and focusing on certain key characters that loved the world over. Many of you know Bumblebee; the yellow Camaro, formerly known as a yellow VW Bug and he is a beloved character by kids all over the world. We could see stories told around Bumblebee and other characters.

We are in a process of building a brand equity around the Comic Book Business, our TV Business, our Digital Gaming Business and adding to that our new movie business of Transformers.

ANYWAY...
A movie all about Bumblebee sounds like hell. I wouldn't even bother. The other movies are promising since they have new writers... Age of Extinction is definitely a contender for most boring action movie of all time. I'm curious how they'll develop this. What they should REALLY do are spin-offs focusing on the Beast Wars and Lost Light crew, but with this news of a prequel and Bumblebee movie, I think their vision is much more linear than what we were hoping for...

All any of these people need to do at this point is take any of the Movierverse comics that IDW's put out and adapt those into movie form.

They want spinoffs? Boom! Those are spinoffs!

We want TF-focused films? Boom! Those are TF-focused!

We want films that won't mess up the continuity any further? Boom! That's what those are for!

Movie Prequel, The Reign of Starscream, Saga of the AllSpark (minus its last two stories), Alliance, Defiance, Tales of the Fallen, Nefarious, Unite for the Universe (a non-IDW manga, but still), Sector 7, Foundation, Convergence...

All of these were made to fit into the world established by the first three films and are just waiting to be put into movie form. So, get on it, filmmakers!

Yeah let's go with "other characters".Who knows? Kids might even find more beloved characters to admire other than the one constant, perpetually there, never going away character that is consistently shoved down their throats. I mean, there's a couple more Transformers characters with interesting personalities out there, right? Maybe?
