Actually I did, but was in a super huge hurry that day. I thought it was neat but was bummed to not see a Donny version. Do the figs come off them bases?

When they've made packs like that they've usually started with Leo or Raph, I would hope they finish out the set! I think they come off the bases, that'd be a deal breaker if they didn't.

I'm not sure if I really mixed toylines as a kid. Since I have 2 similarly-aged siblings and our parents tended to give us things to share, we'd often get a sizable chunk of a toyline. We all had Rugrats and had all the Rugrats, so we'd just play Rugrats.

I used to display my Transformers with my Halo Mega Bloks collection, and even scrambled around parts of my different minifigures to make little partners for the different Cybertronians.

Yes!! Where'd you get Rock and Blues?!

Also, the History of TMNT multipack can have the figures removed from the bases, after unscrewing them! And they left out the 2006 CG version as the molds had been destroyed?!

Great photos so far everyone!!

Thanks! None of those are painted, and as far as I recall, none are stock off the shelf - I just had a very large number of the older model Halo minifigs in different colors with different armor types, and I stripped them down to their base pieces (Head, torso, pelvis, upper arms, lower arms, upper legs, lower legs) and mixed and matched colors armor types to suit. I had a pretty good Zarak too, but I don't think I took any pictures of him.

TFPC #8: More Mega Bloks/Transformers

Postby Dr. Caelus » Sun Nov 22, 2015 4:41 pm

They aren't quite in scale with each other, but I love how well they fit together nonetheless.

Everyone's just hangin' out, having a good time.

Goldfire talking to Marine.jpg
In robot mode, the scale 'looks' right to me. (Sorry about the dust.)

Riding around in conspicously small hovercraft.

Troop Transport.jpg
The Mega Bloks Micro-figs hands are roughly the same size as the 3mm clips on the HFTD and RTS Transformers.

But then, Soundwave's cassettes get into the base!

Decepticons Attack.jpg
It's all fun and games until the Decepticons get into the base.

They're stealing tactical data for the Covenant!

Ravage Infiltration.jpg
Thanks to Laserbeak's interrogation skills, Ravage has gotten into the UNSC computers!

This looks like a job for the Wreckers!

Wreckers Assemble.jpg
Bulkhead decided that if he was going to roll with the UNSC, he needed some tatts.

And as many dudes as we can fit on Metroplex as possible.

Metroplex Transport.jpg
Metroplex can carry 4 Warthogs and 3 and at least 3 Mongooses comfortably.

The Wreckers lead the way - right into Shockwave's ambush!

Surrounded!.jpg
The LZ is under siege!

Fortunately, help is on the way!

Reinforcements arrive.jpg
Master Chief arrives in style.

And they're into the Fray!

Combat Drop.jpg
Geronimo!

Finally, on the return to the base, everyone stops for a heroic pose!

Thanks! :)

Unfortunately, he's in storage now, so all I can give you is a not-too-great closeup I took at the time.

Bulkhead Tattoos.jpg
Just needs " I <3 Mom" in there somewhere.

Edit: Forgot to show Metroplex busting out his robot mode on the Covenant:

Metroplex Assault.jpg
Metroplex heeds the call of the Reclaimer.

Edit II: Most of my stuff is split up now, but Metroplex still hangs with the UNSC.
