Alternity Megatron is not fiddly at all. His transformation is pretty solid and fun, plus he look amazing. You just have to know how to lock the legs in place. It's not hard once you see the holes and tabs.

He's not the best. But this is the best price you will ever get for that toy. So if you are slightly curious, I think its worth it.

BBTS one day sale train rolls on. Excellent price on Takara's G1 colored AOE Grimlock: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/prod ... ode=retail

As usual I would assume this deal is most applicable to US residents.

Seriously consider Alternity Megs. He's one of the best Alternity. Especialy in black and red. :x

One Alternity you should avoid like the plague is any "seeker" molds. These are just garbage. Great looking garbage, but garbage nontheless.

Thats a shame.
Never got my hands on one but always thought it looked amazing.
Glad I didn't throw down on one when they went on sale then.

They're ugly and difficult to transform in the legs, but the figures aren't bad. I have Starscream, he's pretty nice, actually.

It may be worth 30$ shipped if you are curious. No more. The automorhp is lame and buggy, the diecast doors keep falling off at the slightest provocation, and he cant stand up for shayt.

Speaking of Alternity, Bumblebee is fun and interesting, but he look dorky as hell. Hoptimus is a pretty solid and fun figure.

Sol Tl;Dr, the best Alternity molds are Optimus and Megatron. Also, the new RT edition that come with a waifu? It's no wonder they are all based on the Optimus mold. They are expensives, but you can expect quality.

Have some reviews:

I think I will get him, I'd rather the TT version, but it's a little too much for my budget :(

I already have G1 Megatron. Nearly Voyager pricing for a Leader Armada Megs is tempting, but I have zero attachment to Armada, and no real use for it. And if that headsculpt weren't so ugly, I'd probably pick up Thundercracker.

Oh well....for those who need/want these figures, this is a screaming deal.

Well... Considering that Leader Class figures are £49.99 over here, picking up 2 and Black Jack (who I still needed) for £65 including shipping to the UK is just about the biggest bargain I have had in a long time.

I am a happy bunny :)

Thundercracker has hovered around $30 for the last couple of weeks. Amazon prices constantly fluctuate, but $27 is as low as I've seen.

I've seen Thundercracker for a while and have held off. I may get him though if he holds at that price for a while (which so far he has). Already have Megs and don't want Armada, so I'm good here.

Also, anyone notice characters like Crosscut and Roadbuster are still there too? I saw Roadbuster for only $13 a few weeks ago if anyone is interested :BOT:

Well, I don't care for Armada megaton's head, but I did like the colors scheme. The lower price makes it worth it. I'll keep Armada megs in tank mode, and G1 megs in Bot mode. That'll do.

I have Armada Megs on my shelf in the "fan" mode (cannon under arm and such) I like him in both modes.

Honestly, the only one I dont have is Thundercracker and I really wanted to get that mold as Jetfire...who is at BBTS for 35. Is Thundercracker worth getting too or should I just get Jetfire? Either way I'm paying about the same price. Which mold is best as which character?
