I know I already have the Armada Starscream but this deco is really calling me. Plus my Armada Starscream is kinda broken. I hate it when clear plastic is molded wrong. :\ I hope this guy also comes with a Minicon.

I don't think it's entirely too unlikely TT would do it. I mean the did do scourge an slipstream for the japanese market.

Then again, Japan never got Armada Skywarp back in the day, nor any fiction in which said character appeared. So as far as Japan's concerned, there kinda wasn't any Skywarp that existed back then for Micron Densetsu.

Besides, this figure isn't even Thundercracker to them. It's Starscream Super Mode. So there wasn't even a Thundercracker in Micron Densetsu either.

Black Convoy and Slipstream, however, totally existed in Japan.

Never said it made sense, just said it's not unlikely. If it ever got made by TT it'd probably be a show floor exclusive.

Personally I have the Hasbro Magnus and along with the reprolabels set, think it is perfect. Love Minimus as well since I read all Transformer IDW comics.

That Super Starscream is f**king gorgeous. I didn't know I wanted another version of that mold until this happened. I never had Armada Starscream, but I had Thundercracker (who, as in-fiction, I treated as the tragic hero, Starscream in his powered up form) so this hits all the right nostalgia for me, and looks sexy AF, too.

Why in the world did they paint the cockpit? I get that it was like that on the original toy but couldn't they just make it clear yellow?

Because the other clear parts like his swords, eyes, and cannons would end up clear yellow too.

As was mentioned the Generations Armada Starscream had a painted window as well, so it wasn't clear orange but matched the dark look of the animation.

If I were to get the Takara version, it would be for the painted cockpit, and since his cockpit isn't painted, I'll pass. Especially since would rather have Minimus Ambus than Alpha Trion.

Aye. Didn't know that the Takara normal Starscream also had a painted cockpit. I guess they're using that cloudy white so the eyes will match the original. Still as long as it wasn't p*** yellow the swords would look a lot better and they could have painted over the eyes if it's that important.

I wondered that too from the robot mode pic. But the beast mode pic shows it attached the same way it would be if it had that larger piece so I assume its there and its just a trick of the camera angle in the robot mode picture.

While I'm kinda dissapointed that Blackarachnia isn't as accurate to the original character as Rhinox or Rattrap, I am still amazed they could pull that look off from the animated mold with only some minor retooling.

Nightbird is sexy as hell.

And not long after I ask this is it pointed out to me that there's a black string running down her arm from the claw towards her back, where the bigger piece of the weapon is most likely attached to her.
