On the other side of the coin, Liokaiser is a Japanese original combiner and I would be quite surprised if they skipped it. If they wanted to avoid too much repetition, they wouldn't have released Convoy Grand Prime, which is literally a retool of Menasor.

I would love to see them done at a smaller scale, devs had too many corners cut for both the budget, and general stability, I think a team of 6 deluxe's would work for them
It was said by both Hasbro and Takara that stability had nothing to do with it. Any issue one may have is entirely related to cost control and Hasbro is fine with us knowing that.
That Bot wrote:It wouldn't surprise me TOO much if Takara released Hasbro's interpretation of Liokaiser, with some improvements, or as a "USA Version" (they've done similar in the past). Or they may go super G1 and replace Deathsaurus with whoever is missing. We'll see. I doubt they'll skip it altogether.
They are already skipping quite a bit. They arent releasing the G2 decos nor the Battle Core Torso. Takara seems to not want to do too many redecos. So my guess is we will get the Takaa version of the Skylynx mold once. It will be either as Skylynx or as Dethsaurus or something else, but not both. They will be skipping one version of this mold, I dont know which one though.

By that Logic, Hasbro shouldnt get Liokaiser since they never got one to begin with. That fact alone takes away any certainty that a toy would be released if that same area had the original toys or not.
The only thing we know is that Takara is considering this line the end all be all for G1 combiners. Like MP but at a different scale. To the point where Bruticus' feet are colour coded. Looking at that I would be in total disbelief if they released a LioKaiser that was made up of 4 deluxe limbs with a voyager torso. That would be their only innacurate G1 combiner. How does that make sense?
o.supreme wrote:I don't now...I'm pretty sure we wont be seeing G2 decos as part of the UW line. Especially with the rumors that continuation of the UW line depends upon Bruticus pre-orders/sales.
However I am a fan of symmetry and order, which is why Transformers is almost a constant source of frustration. Also The CW/UW line has brought me out of a 10 year stint of not purchasing any toys, that's how much I like the line, and how powerful nostalgia can be .
I posted this as it is one of my favorite pieces of TF artwork in recent memory. However it presents some challenges to reenact with CW or UW
1-No Omega Supreme (well at least not until 2018 or 2019)...
2-Sky Lynx, is now Sky Reign -I actually like this change, as I feel he would be more an even match for Predaking now but...
3-No Predaking (Hasbro as of last year stated they will not be doing any "animal" combiners...who knows if that will change
4-No Abominus (See Predaking)

o.supreme wrote:A Titan Raiden would be amazing, but almost certainly not going to happen. The originals were all unique molds, and like Devastator, even if two of the molds were identical (front & back cars) , and the middle were all identical passenger cars, it would not work. They would all have to be unique, like the original version and like Devastator, for their combined form to work.

That Bot wrote:A Titan Class Raiden would be neat, but probably not that popular.
o.supreme wrote:Raiden, like Devastator, is not a SC Combiner. TT would never go for an inaccurate rendition. Its basically like saying...Make Devastator with limbs made to scramble... most fans would not go for it.
