That chamber reminds me of the manga just prior to Battlestars: Return of Convoy where Star Giant and his flunkies stole Convoy's body and made a clone of it (?)

So really, the time stream indeed was not disturbed and the chain of events we have seen won't affect Convoy's eventual resurrection as Star Convoy.

This must have been one editorial headache and I give kuddos to the people behind this.

Hasbro's lio is fine. I just got mine a couple weeks ago and I can't stop playing with him.

The Platinum Liokaiser is pretty great.

But, if there's currently no evidence of a UW Liokaiser, it must be true that there won't be. After all, we had zero evidence of a new gun mode MP Megatron, or a CW Computron, or a Deluxe class figure for Groove, Wildrider or Slingshot in CW, or so many other figures that we absolutely, positively never, ever got or will ever get. So obviously, ' no evidence right now ' clearly means that something will never, ever happen. Ever.

No one ever said it would never happen ever. But if it does happen, it wont be an answer to Hasbro's like all the others were. I think thats an important distinction. its like when Universe Silverbolt came out and someone might have said "I will wait for takara's combining Silverbolt". It happened, 10 years later or so, but it wasnt in response to Universe silverbolt. We will get a better Liokaiser some day for sure, just like we got a better Gun Megatron. but I dont see it as a continuation of the UW line being compatible with the other CW toys.

And CW Computron was rumoured from even before we had Devastator confirmed.

Whatever this scenario is that you're trying to employ has absolutely no bearing on what I said, so I don't know what you're getting at. I didn't say anything about a better anything; I said people screech 'never' only to later have the thing that was 'never' going to happen or had 'no evidence of happening right now' actually happen.

Hasbro said at Botcon '14 or something that there were no plans for Computron despite Scattorshot and 'Betatron' being shown at SDCC a few weeks earlier. People here took that to be indisputable proof of there never being a CW Computron because Hasbro had said they weren't working on it.
You and I have been down this road before. Hasbro says not right now; people on this board say that means never because Hasbro said it.
Then we find out that 'never' actually does come along, and you say I'm just playing some kind of semantics game. Which, I guess I kind of am, since what I'm doing is giggling at the 'never going to happen' which then actually does happen. I suppose that is a semantic issue, seeing as people are tragically misapplying the word 'never' in many instances.

As I understand it, it's basically Sakamoto's sandbox and we all get to look inside, with Takara Tomy letting us look so we'll buy their toys. As I also understand it, Sakamoto would take us all to school on the ins, outs, and way-outs (remember when a prototype design showed up on Deathsaurus' Warworld in MTMTE 39?) of Japanese G1.

I thought so. But then I went and re-watched his funeral scene, and the coffin he was buried in was more oval-shaped and had a completely transparent (glass?) cover.

I also double-checked God Ginrai's death in Victory, and the thing he was put into wasn't a match either.

Ah, I see now. I overlooked the previous page appearance of Convoy Grand Prime and misinterpreted the panel on the next page of his de-combining as instead being his combining sequence, and thinking that Roller intercepted the combination to replace Ironhide as the right arm.

Still begs the question if this Galvatron II is the same as the Marvel Galvatron II.this one refers to himself as the original..and didn't make reference to himself ever having been a Megatron. Those of us that have read the old Marvel run know that the Galvatron II in that series was born of a Megatron hence his hesitency to kill that Megatron on the ark.

Sad that the Unite Warriors chapter has ended

The Zodiac inclusion is a foreshadowing to both the Zone and Return of Convoy series, as this story is set before both of those. The Look of the Zodiac comes from the Zone episode, while the notion of using it to revive Optimus refers to how Optimus is later revived as Star Convoy through use of the Zodiac.

In other words, not using an incomplete reference source? As I already mentioned the source TF Generations Mook. TFarchives just didn't scan the entire mmok. This means some people have access to references sources others don't have.

Anyway, this Roller, it seems that based on the dialogue where he was "lost" during the battle against Unicron, was that during the movie? Or is it just before Unicron showed after the Battle of Autobot City? If that is the case, so when Convoy died, the spark of Roller got lost to the void and Unicron reconstituted him into a transformable being. This is with precedent as in the E-Hobby version of Orion Pax, Barrel Roller did "transform" into a humanoid form.
