Where have you been? Optimus has been the 13th Prime since late last year. And we've already seen all 13 in plain view (save for Optimus, whose original form was obscured from view). Did you avoid the Covenant of Primus book for some reason? A big deal was made about the thing from the time of its announcement to the time of its release.SlyTF1 wrote:Well, at least Optimus looks badass in this show. I dont think its a spoiler, and I thought he was always said to be the 13th. I didnt know it was something debated upon. I hope they keep the fact that one of them is a minicon. Also, I look forward to seeing what Soulus Prime looks like. If people though Strongarm was a beefy fem-bot wait till they see the fem-bot that uses that Hammer! Also, does this mean we get to see Vector Prime come back?
EDIT:
I looked into it and yeah, Optimus being a prime is a new thing that was just established with the recent Transformers: The Covenant of Primus.

It's almost as if they're meant to be little write-ups from a production bible rather than anything meant to be seen by the public.
*sighs* Can you ever just take anything at face value and not nit pick it to death? They're little blurbs from a website about a show aimed at kids. I'm not trying to be mean, but I mean, come on. *smh*
And the Kindergarten Cop reference is at least a decade before the target demographic's time. Such lines and other bits in these bios feel more like notes intended for production crew members rather than for casual viewers.durroth wrote:Autobot032 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Those bios seem to be less-than-professionally-written what with their references to external property media and giving opinions about the characters instead of adhering strictly to factual info.

I'm not saying that deadpool is definitely not aimed at kids so the reference is kind of weird to be aimed at kids, buuuuut...

News to me, I need to pickup the Covenant. I never imagined Prime being potrayed that old or powerful?

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

The thing that bugged me the most about that was the lack of an explanation for why they all had forgotten things of the past (whilst dudes like Alpha Trion seemed to have never forgotten).Dead Metal wrote:And what makes all this worse is not just that the book insists on making all classic named characters extremely old and responisble for everything, but also insists on mentioning that everyone has forgotten about all that.

I'm gonna brace for any drama from Cartoon-canceler Network or for any soft reboots insisted by Hasbro a la Beast Hunters.Avensis-Mahiya wrote:78 episodes? I'm cool with that. Hopefully it doesn't get halved somewhere down the line because of reasons or whatever.

Then again, Rescue Bots seems like its on its own way to 78 episodes, so there could still be hope.
No word on either yet. I'm just speculating on season 3's length since, unlike both Prime (who was striving for 65 all along) and MLP (whose 3rd season production was cut in half to allow them to simultaneously produce the Equestria Girls film), Rescue Bots has little to interfere with it having a full-length 26-episode season, so we can hope for the best.Nemesis Primal wrote:As for Rescue Bots, is there any word yet on how many episodes Season 3 has, or what happened to the missing Season 2 episodes?
