I don't really understand any of your complaints. Buzzworthy has had a ton of Deluxe movie figures in it, we even got some two packs that refreshed some harder to find figures like Barricade, Dropkick and Stinger, got new molds like Core Bumblebee and Origin Bee, and heavy repaints like SS86 Kup and Cliffjumper. Plus Buzzworthy is just a banner over multiple lines and multiple series, we've even already had Legacy represented with the Creature 4 pack, Dinobot, Terrorsaur and Silverstreak. They absolutely fit right in with Buzzworthy which has become Target's home for random exclusive repaints, why on Earth would you want them taking up rare slots in Legacy?

Legacy would not be more fitting for Bayverse toys.

However, I do agree with your statement that there is no distinction of lines. It's a fact, there isn't. Someone who's collecting G1 Generations style figures needs to keep an eye out for what is coming in the Velocitron, Buzzworthy, Selects, Legacy and SS86 lines.
That's just how Hasbro chose to do it since general retail can only accomodate so many slots. They are basically just releasing as much product as possible. But fans have sites like this to know what is where, along with the internet in general. So it doesn't cause any problem. That's just how TF collecting has become.

The recent news of Hasbro reissuing leader class DOTM Optimus Prime (which can still be preordered here) proves that Hasbro is aware of which reissues may be needed from fans. This specific toy was even brought up by Ben Yee during a round table discussion with Hasbro months ago. And now we have even more good news regarding hard to find Studio Series toys.

Fellow Seibertronian JT Prime posted that there are shipping manifests currently stating that Studio Series 38 Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime is in US ports. So this means that this toy is also getting a reissue. It is supposedly in the Buzzworthy line which has been the place for Studio Series reissues since wave 1. Studio Series Movie 1 Megatron is also said to be in ports. With ports being backed up, there is no specific time known for when these will hit stores.

All these toys sold very well previously and those who didn't get them are paying premiums on the aftermarket (even that Megatron will now cost you over $50 + shipping) so it's nice to see they are getting reissued. We hope this is good news for you!

I'd say the possibility is the highest now since they brought the mold back for the 15th anniversary pack. Hopefully we get a DotM version too!

I greatly appreciate it when HasTak reissues figures that were hard to obtain or got scalped to hell.
Really makes this toy collecting hobby a whole lot less frustrating and easier on the wallet! :lol:

It's nice to hear Hasbro are giving collectors another chance to get some highly sought after figures. I'm tempted to pre-order DOTM Optimus, but I was never a huge fan of the mould so I don't know if it'll be worth it. I don't like those N.E.S.T repaints of Bonecrusher and Ratchet though, neat idea but just not something I could justify spending money on.
It is a shame that Bayverse Ratchet (I'm not really counting the Bumblebee version because it's a completely different design) never got an original mould in Studio Series, only a handful of repaints of an extensive retool of a now eleven-year-old toy that wasn't that great to begin with. I was always hoping for a new Voyager mould for him.

These 2 aren’t going to be in Buzzworthy bumblebee. They’re exactly the same as their original releases. Same paint apps, same product numbers, same packaging.

They’re in solid cases this time instead of a assortment. If I had to guess, they’ll be offered by fan channels. Stores in Asia, like robot kingdom have already started take orders and ship them.

I know it was most likely just supposed a filler release, but I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing the KSI sentry be rereleased for army building purposes (like, weren’t they short packed with one per case?)

Also, a rerelease of Skipjack would be much appreciated.

You can still get Skipjack on Amazon pretty easily. Not to mention that if you have Amazon Prime, he's only $22.

Firstly I wasn't "complaining", I was simply trying to understand the the process better.
And mainly because Buzzworthy is the most difficult line for me to track down so it bums be out when that line get a bot I want. < "there is the complaint"
At least with these three they were listed on target's site fairly quickly and are still there unlike CliffJumper! So if they want to reissue Thrust or VW Bee in this line and make it easily available online I have no problems with that.

Okay so you're basically saying there aren't enough slots in either Legacy/Generations or Velocitron lines so they put them in Buzzworthy instead, then why not increase those slots and remove a few from Buzzworthy? Is it separate budgets for each line that prevents this?

For Star Wars I understand limited slots due to being only one line, but Transformers has several sublines.

This figure's great from what I can tell (and why they are reissuing it) but I'm personally still waiting to see the RotB figure and probably get that instead. :-?

That and retailer shelfspace. Plus, exclusives aren't made by Hasbro then offered to retailers, it's the retailers themselves that request exclusives and Hasbro makes them. Retailers also have the power to back out of any product offered, like Walmart did big time back in 2003.

Should be mentioned that while retailers request exclusives they're rarely character specific and leave the details up to Hasbro aside from store specific things like Target preferring red figures. For Buzzworthy I think it's more of a case of Target giving Hasbro a budget to use or a space to fill however they want, while Walmart prefers specific themes and sets. I guarantee non of Walmart's buyers have ever heard of Velocitron or any of the characters in the line until Hasbro pitched it to them.

BTW, I like the idea of a SS Wreckers 3 pack, maybe with some glossy paint and stiffer weapons, but it would have to be a Target exclusive.

Creatures Collide 4-pack designer notes from Mark Maher:

Now that some time has passed, I’m able to share with you the Creatures Collide Buzzworthy Bumblebee four pack! I had a really great time working on this pack and I hope all of you have had a chance to scoup it from Target.

So I’ve seen a lot of great pictures being posted of these great characters, but I did not see many mention the black hardware that was issued on all of the creatures in the pack. I thought the black hardware was essential to relay how evil these guys are. I tried for copper hardware for the main man Goldbug but alas, that hardware does not meet our current safety standards.

As you swipe you can see I was able to keep all the extra heads for the creatures. My idea behind this was just lil old Goldbug going up against an army of insecticons and predacons, obviously he triumphs defying all odds. The extra head with ransack was to utilize your Legacy Kickback for that sweet G1 look with the black visor! For the Waruader Parasyte you have the alternate head that is linked to the Skywasp horrorcon prototype that was never released back in the day of beast wars. The other head of Scorponok was paying homage to his first toy release mutant battle mask. I did my damnedest to try to match that crazy pearl essence metallic blurple color on his OG toy but I ended up leaning more towards predacon purple and I even matched the partial transparent look with the metallic fleck the original rocked.

Ive been really trying hard to have secret features hidden in the first molds of character releases to sweeten the deal for their redeco releases. That mid section torso was the idea me and Kunihiro san worked on together to give the redeco Ransack as much love as possible. Be on the lookout for more features such as these!

This pack also delivers the #netflix Bumblebee licensed VW mold which was also my plan up front when we did the Shattered Glass BB. This place moves incredibly fast and thoughts such as these always don’t come to fruition, but the fact that this release happened, gives me all the warm and fuzzy feels!!

It's more widely considered that VW probably didn't want their license used for an evil character. Bug Bite's an even less known character and he too didn't get to use the VW tooling.

The DotM Prime reissue is very welcome and I am glad people are going to get the chance to get him.

That NEST Ratchet and Bonecrusher look really nice. Those colors look really nice on them, and it would be great to give NEST Bee some partners. the colors are super sharp. They work nicely. and I am very glad I get to get another Bonecrusher, he is my favorite movie con.

In other Buzzworthy notes, Rescued this little guy from a Ross, he is neat, car mode is super cute
