So what about the heads? He would need 2. Megatron as the jet mode, and gigatron as the combined mode name? Which would have the gigatron head and which a different head? I'm curious as to your thoughts here screamer

Wellm I kinda wanted the gargoyle head (bot mode head + gargoyle muzzle) as the combiner head, and the bot mode head as the normal head, of course it would need the fold out wings. If the gargoyle head doesn't work as the combiner head, I guess they could make a new one, or an enhanced version of his bot head, sort of like going from megatron to pissed-off-super-combiner-enhanced megatron

Now I wonder if they were ever to make G2 inspired Alpha-Bravo or Off Road will they need to be The same colour as the characters they "Replace" or brand new unique colours ?

I'd not mind Alpha-Bravo in golden brown as then it would look like one of the antagonist's Helicopters on the Airwolf TV show.

I'm keen to get some more Helicopters simply so there is enough spare guns to give then ones you do use 2 of them in the helicopter mode for the sake of balance.

I keep saying we need to see some more "Most wanted" (yellow box) style Vs sets again as that is a great way to get all the odd things we'd other wise miss out on without having to pay Fun Pub prices.

The obvious ones remain : Bluestreak, Sideswipe, Red Alert, Hoist, Tracks, Ratchet, and there is plenty more to consider if you throw in G2 ideas and the more obscure things like Detritus, Deep Cover & Clampdown.

I wonder what else we've had that could be G2ised - Some of the Autobot cars have ready made G2 colour schemes (sometimes more than one as is the case with Mirage and Sideswipe). I Guess a G2 Prime would use that reverse colour scheme idea that pops up sometimes where Optimus has a dark Blue cab.

Personally I'd rather have a Turbomasters giftset - but I suspect that is just 'to obscure'.

I think if you could mistransform Onslaught's vehicle mode into a fire truck with the Hot Spot tooling of the feet, you have a much better Pyro homage than the Botcon G2 Pyro.

Seriously, just recolor the Onslaught mold as a red fire truck. Keeping guns in place of ladders; that's Pyro's visual gimmick: He's an armed heroic fire truck who shows up to burn down people's houses.

Then you could have repaint limbs based on the original G2 characters.

Hot Spot/Onslaught as Pyro.
Trailbreaker as Hotrider.
Mirage/Dragstrip as Leadfoot.
Wheeljack as Deluge.
Alpha Bravo as Rotorstorm.

Decepticons could be largely Aerialbots.

Skyquake, Falcon, Snare, Talon, Skydive

Maybe swap one out for a Cyberjet.

I believe it is because Powerglide is supposed to be red and silver, and Alpha Bravo isn't included.

Dualor? I don't see it. To me, his vehicle mode looks a lot like Wreckage's from the '07 movie toyline, but Bulkhead has more name recognition, and Wreckage might be too close in color scheme to how Rook already looks.

Dualor? I don't see it. To me, his vehicle mode looks a lot like Wreckage's from the '07 movie toyline, but Bulkhead has more name recognition, and Wreckage might be too close in color scheme to how Rook already looks.

Well color him grey and put yellow versions of hotspots guns on his shoulder ports in vehicle mode
