With that said, we haven't seen the gear mounted in jet mode, so if that's even possible they may have meant that.

Probably more likely the coronation stuff stores in the throne or something, you can see the cape hanging off the back here.

Anyone else notice his guns don't snap to his arms in bot mode with the set on, but to the shoulder pads?

So far, the SG releases have either a new head or new accessories if they're not straight redecos. Not both at the same time. Thinking about it more, I wonder how they'd pull it off properly, as SG Ultra Magnus has not one, but two toys via a repurposing:

It's because of the hood.

Both of the Diaclone pre-Bluestreaks had hoods that were different colors from the rest of the car's body (blue w/ a silver hood and silver w/ a black hood), which made them both look like those old broken cars that use replacement parts from other cars that don't match the rest of the car.

Apparently, Hasbro didn't want their Bluestreak to look like an old broken car with a replaced hood, so they took the silver hood from the blue car and put it on the silver car to create a new uniform design with a matching car and hood, nixing the silver car's original black hood in the process. Evidently, this decision came too late in the game for the packaging to be changed, but not too late for the comics and cartoon to both switch to the silver character design before release.

That said, however, it seems the cartoon somehow got a look at the original Diaclone silver car w/ black hood deco instead of the new all-silver deco, since the cartoon model for Bluestreak used the black hood instead of the new silver one, like how the cartoon also used Diaclone blue Swoop instead of Swoop's new red coloring meant to make him better resemble the other Dinobots who also used red as a secondary color. The comics, on the other hand, did use the all-silver Bluestreak and red Swoop as per their toys.

Thanks for clearing that up. I hate the all silver toy & the cartoon version. Blue Bluestreak for me! I have the MP version & I can't wait to get the new selects version. Unfortunately I missed the CW version. :-(

I might still go for the Netflix version simply because I'm pissed at that whole situation. I got burned by the Walmarts near me & a new release won't be the same.

The stores in my area have become a real problem lately. I live close to Knoxville TN & they get everything (I watch the sightings constantly). Just a little farther East & I'm stuck in a black hole. :-(

The Club one, or even the MP one, is actually not the first Diaclone-inspired Blue Bluestreak we got from either side:

Prime Cyberverse Bluestreak (Only released in Europe and Australia)

Released in 2014, beating both the Club (2016) and even the MP (2015). Not G1, but the seed was planted... :-B

I really hate this stupid BS you guys keep pushing. If it weren't for the club we would never ever have that figure. Never ever ever. It's absolutely impossible for Hasbro to ever release that figure in any other way. TOTAL COMPLETE BULLS**t! You guys said the same exact thing when Hasbro released Classic Thundercracker in that Botcon set. And how many times did they re-release him after that? Hasbro can do whatever the hell they want. Good for you! Enjoy it! But I can't enjoy mine because they made it impossible for me to get one. So I have every right to bitch about it. I despise Botcon & the TFCC. I'm glad the bastards a gone! I cheered when they announced the end of stupid Botcon. Generations Selects is a much better way to release these exclusives.

Every fan has the right to enjoy these figures. Not just a select few rich elitist &%$#^%s. :-x

If that's selfish then I'm the most selfish fan that ever existed. And I'm proud of it. I want every fan to be able to enjoy this hobby equally. Not this segregation by financial status BS. All I can say is that I relate to the way you feel. My county has three Walmarts that I know of. The one closest to me very rarely gets anything that is worth getting. And when they do, it tends to be offered in very low numbers. The other two tend to have better luck, but their stock is never really offered in "MOC/MISB collector" friendly condition. :BOOM:

And what makes that feel weird is the fact that my last encounter with a legitimate Transformmers fan was in 2017, and that was at Robot Robot 2 (I think) in Nakano Broadway!

The "tumbleweed" shelves of Walmart, Toys R Us, Target, E,B Games, and so on is a rampant problem everywhere. Canada, the USA, pretty much everywhere in the world I guess.

Mix that covid bullcrap with weird and ineffective policies that encourage people to NOT work, and you get the domino effect of barebone shelves everywhere.

Hell, even my local geek store have a very hard time to order stock. :BANG_HEAD:

An idea that's been mentioned before is Core class in SS being the next iteration of the Cyberverse class. So he won't be on his own, but he won't be fullsize.
I think the Legacy Shockwave will pull double duty as a weapon for combiners (like the CW version) to go with the concurrent Menasor.

Deluxe Wild Rider and Voyager "Jhaxus" have now also been found, but just to temper expectations before people get too excited, one of the leakers said a day or two ago that Armada Starscream shares a mold with/is a retool of a "yet-to-be-listed" figure, and last time we got Armada Screamer and a Jhiaxus at the same time...

Hey, it doesn't say which movie Shockwave it is, for all we know this'll be an adorable little Driller.

....also in hindsight, Iguanus is almost guaranteed to be the Pretender, considering the leakers said we're getting 2 Pretender homages in Core Class, they AREN'T the Energon Monsters, and counting these new listings there's only one Core slot in the retail lineup (based on the number of figures Kingdom has had, anyway).
