Inferno is literally the only reveal of the day to have sold out so far on Pulse, this continues to bode well for non-G1 interest.

I think it bodes well for Beast Wars, not necessarily "Non-G1". I didn't pre-order him. Probably should have. LOL
I mean, I said it that way because that's how Hasbro themselves described it in interviews in the past, when they talked about how some of the "non-G1" Legacy figures were outselling some of the G1 Legacy stuff and a bunch of people immediately tried to argue that simply couldn't be accurate.

I remember that. I think it's all selling but it's starting to slow down, even the ones that anecdotally were flying off the shelves (which were G1 from what I saw - Dragstrip and Kickback)are starting to sit. It's definitely time for Wave 2 to be hitting retail. As far as 'outselling G1' they just weren't specific enough for it to have any meaning (to me). If they meant Bulkhead, well...what your area's situation on him. We're swimming in him (as we should be considering he's 2 per case) where you barely see Blaster. At Walmart the extra Beast guys are all sitting there.

I'm sure they have some kind of data, but it's impossible to square it with my own eyes, even anecdotally.

Transmetal Megatron, now with Less (no) metal. :BANG_HEAD:

Not normally a fan of the vac metal process, but this megatron without it looks like a cosplayer to me.

In my area the only Legacy product that's sitting for prolonged periods of time are some of the Beastie Boys as you mentioned (although it also took a while for me to see any of them originally, they had empty pegs at my Walmart for them for a month or two) and a bunch of Galvatrons at my nearest Target. My Walmart is more swamped with Bumblebee Movie Soundwave than anything else, and my Target is pretty much just barren except for Buzzworthy/exclusives (but not the 4-pack, just individual figures) and the Galvatrons.

Love the way they did Skullgrin

Inferno has the spinning butt with the 4 flaps, love it! Still don't like how the insect legs are all over the place in bot mode though

Of course it would have been cool to have some form of a Cyber Key on the newer version. Perhaps adding the gold paint to the feet and a red paint to the wings on the weapon but otherwise not a bad representation.

Looks great. If only I could find one near me. #-o

In regards to Cybertron Override, how tight are her legs. On mine I think the've tightened over the years. The rotation is so tight, it unclips the crotch before the leg actually moves.

Glad to see the last of the figures fully revealed here.

Bomb Burst looks really fun, I am excited to add another pseudo-Pretender to the shelf. I am liking the robots right now, as a fan of the gimmick.

Megatron still looks iffy, but i will get him to fight PotP Primal.

I like Crankcase, still wish he had the IDW head, but he looks good. Excited for him specifically.

Wanted to share this pic, since Springer looks good here in this trio

I never got Siege Springer. I don't hate the toy deco, just looks like an odd duck. Is he good looking in person?

Side note: Is Potp Primal an ok figure? I considered buying. Do you think a new one is likely to come out (I know the evolution integration sucks, but without it?)
Any ideas what on can do with a broken override figure?

I never got the retail Springer, only got this one because of the Marvel G1 comics colors with the Wrecker symbol. He is really nice in hand, I like him this way, glad I waited for this one.

PotP Primal is pretty good to me, I like it and have never disliked it. I don't think a new one will come in a while.

I picked up both Legacy Wave 2 Voyager Class figures over the past two days. Jhiaxus is cool, but I was far more excited for the repack of "Siege" Soundwave. Now with a "clean" deco that ditches the battle damage paint apps, I had nice clean parts to work with to swap to my Netflix Soundwave. Why? The Netflix Soundwave lacked the red stripes on the wrists and battery accessories. Now I have my nearly perfect modern Soundwave. The added detail of the red pinstripes helps quite a bit.

Try Mandarake he was in pretty much every retail store (Bics, Kindertown etc) in Japan at the time so hopefully it might not have had the price hike there.

Unfortunately, Japan posts still "hates" Canada. So anything I buy from Japan MUST be shipped via DHL. Meaning that thing will cost at the very least 50$ to ship. Then add the fact that only Amazon.JP have that DHL super deal and only them charge taxes in advance. This means I get hit by heavy custom fees every times that I order from Mandarake or Buyee.

It suck big time that all these Japanese hot deals gets ruined by Japan Posts "emergency policies". :(

Megatron looks incredible to me, except for the face! I don't know what happened there.
Glad to see Inferno is done properly, I was afraid his propeller would be missing a blade or something. I'll have to get to modelling his actual gun!
The new "pretenders" are tempting, despite their gimmick being missing. I hope they'll do them proper one day, although it's pretty unlikely. I might cave in with this fused versions when they do Bludgeon, and if they do Bugly. But the shell gimmick itself is what I really want from those characters.

I'll have to disagree with people on here thinking we won't be getting another Optimal Optimus, I think we're likely to see him redone in a couple of years, specially with the renewed interest in Beast Wars.

Not to mention the current team's desire to redo a lot of Warden's greatest hits and misses. Leader isn't going to cut it this time, though. Going to have to be a Commander with all four modes, but no chrome or electronics, $90 isn't enough to cover that!

I think he would be a commander mostly because of the size, as transformation wasn't particularly complex. But he was over twice as tall as Dinobot and very bulky, they can only stretch leader class mass so far without the figure becoming a big, empty balloon. If they somehow fit him into leadr (which I doubt), then we'll probably see him relatively soon. If not, then I guess 2025 or something like that, since next year we're probably getting Armada Optimus, and 2024 will propably be some other Unicron trilogy guy, or another G1 Optimus because of the 40 year anniversary.

Thoughts!

TMII Megatron
Boy, it seems like he looks better with each new picture they drop, not sure I will purchase but he's looking really good for a retail dragon mode Megatron (compared to some of the excellent 3rd party ones in recent years

Pointblank
This is a pass for me, no character attachment and the toy just isn't grabbing me so far. Specially with that weirdly penis-y blocky Targetmaster?

Skullgrin
Don't know enough yet to say except that it's cool we are getting Pretender revamps!

Crankcase
Kinda digging how different they made him look from the Skids mold, need to see a little more before calling this one, so hesitant maybe

Dead End
This is the one that bums me the most. It just doesn't seem like the reanformation is very complex and the chunkiness of some proportions is throwing me off. Hopefully Breakdown is more on Dragstrips level. So for me it'll probably be just those two and Motormaster

And Inferno I already decide to get when he first was shown off

I had all but forgotten about those early listings. Knowing this, and the removal of yet another planned package refresh for Earthrise Wheeljack, it seems like Legacy has been in quite a state of flux.

Regarding Skullgrin. I was kind of hoping that the Pretender head would be like a Battle Mask/Helmet that would be removable to have the robot head underneath. I mean I understand why core class wouldn't have this. But for Deluxe, to have the complete "robot" portion of the pretender would have been cool, with the helmet being the leftover remnant/homage to his outer shell.

Ideally, I know fans of Pretenders want the whole thing (full outer shell and inner robot), hopefully someday...but I was just thinking the Helmet idea would have been cool.
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak
