That's unfortunate but understandable. Not everyone likes the same things. Like I said a couple pages back ( buried in the Soundwave talk). :???:

My only complaint with Trashmaster was his size. Should have been larger for a voyager.

On another note...I got my core Snarls a couple of weeks ago
No sign of the rest of the wave. I need one more Slag to complete a 2nd Volcanicus for my friends son.

My opinions shouldn't take away from you completing your Junkions Hero Alpha. As o.supreme said we all don't dig the same things. And one flaw that I agreed to was the height being off. Not that it should matter but since your curious I didn't like his lame primary weapon. Yeah Trashmaster with his trash collecting claw. 8-} I also didn't like his pistols molded to his hands and lastly how the shoulder connecting part in robot mode does not peg on tight/snap and hold.

So for me that resulted in my returning Trashmaster. :VEHI:

I got my Trashmaster and Dreadwing.

Trashmaster is pretty good, though I did think he would be a bit bigger.

Dreadwing is glorious. They have done my favorite Prime Con good! He looks great with Skyquake too. I think Dreadwing is my 2nd favorite Evolution figure after Armada Prime.

The Legacy Junkions hold no appeal for me; although I'm glad it seems some are enjoying them.

I ended up canceling my order for the Decepticon 3-pack through Amazon Japan and went with Entertainment Earth... Their deal for free shipping on orders over $79 is saving me somewhere between $10-$20. I know they've been known to ship later than other retailers, but I'm in no real rush to have that set. Plus I also finally ordered SS86 Frenzy. He's supposed to ship next month, and that was included in the free shipping deal; so I'm probably saving closer to $20 all said and done.

My favorite shots are the ones showing the range of blast effects compatibility. I'm looking forward to having her in robot mode using her turbines as a wind attack. Articulation looks great, too.

Playing around with Dreadwing a bit I do have a few shall we say questions. did not get Skyquake, so this is all new to me.

Beyond the nose cone and waist issue which is hard to get correct but already known from Skyquake before me here are my impressions:

The waist slider keeps wanting to slide up, and being he's so supremely top heavy, he has a tendency to fall back if its not pushed all the wya down.

The fins on his calfs don't really like to tab in, super shallow slots for those tabs.

The real question is the heel thrusters. They have a hinge that allows them rotate all the way into the leg for some reason, but that serves no real purpose in either mode that I can see. I fgured, the thrusters should be moved one click back for robot mode for best balance.

The Head Articulation is pretty good, with the extra swivel to make him look up.

The Arms have great range. The Legs too, unfortunately it's hard to get him to stand in many poses because his so back heavy.

Otherwise, I really him. He probably will require a stand though.

So, I have to say that Kickback is fairly decent in hand. Deluxe still feels maybe a bit big for the Insecticons' show size, but then again maybe not.

Disappointed that the headsculpt doesn't give the impression of grinning the way the original toy did.

Transformers Legacy Designer Notes - Deluxe Class Windblade

Thanks to Mark Maher once more on Instagram, we have the latest designer notes for a Transformers Legacy figure, and this time, we have notes for the highly anticipated Cyberverse Windblade!

Windblade is classified as the Cyberverse universe version of the character, and while she does bear a lot of visuals from that version, Mark notes they infused some of her first toy as well as some of her Machinima series design into her. The result is a beautiful figure that is sure to impress.

Check out the notes and images below, and let us know what you think in the comments below!

Oh my my my, a Monday Morning #Markclonus post! Mmm mmm
.
Feast your eyes on the mighty fiesty fan favorite Legacy United Deluxe Cyberverse Windblade!
.
Koki Yamada san has just been blessing these Legacy Generations figures and my excitement to work with him cannot be contained!
.
She does resemble her appearance in Cyberverse as I felt in my heart her character persona and features in that series really stood out. But, this figure adopts traits and style tidbits from her first generations figure and her appearance in the machinima series. I did peek at alot of the comic styles of her and the Legacy United fusion has welcomed this sleek, aerodynamic version of her to slice into your collection.
.
Move over Knockout, cause this heart throb is a fierce warrior with a plethora of abilities. Her stormfall sword will ignite with energon essence due to its shear power. Her tessen head fan actually has a special ability that can assist with her city speaker powers but I’ll let you all play that story out on your own! Her face deco came out so clean and gorgeous, I focus alot of energy towards head sculpts as I feel its what brings the soul of the character to life.
.
Please enjoy the rotating turbofans in this super sonic jet mode. The stormfall swords turbine hilt is able to be plugged into her side thigh and also can be utilized as a fire blast engine effect. Did I mention the cockpit seats that Koki san slipped in there, bringing them diaclone pilot vibes back into the mainstream is always welcomed.
.
Up next…?

Hope, that was the right move for you. The Amazon Japan price hadn't reflected its reduced price yet and now it's sold out. By my estimate the Amazon price with shipping was already below Hasbro's MSRP and going to come down more.

Wonder if she'll actually come with any effects besides the Stormfall Sword's blade. About time we had a Windy toy with a better representation of her turbine-blast power.

And please retool this mold into a female Seeker; maybe they can be the centerpiece of the next troop builder 4-pack!

I just don't care for the proportions on this one. It's probably just me, but her head seems a bit too small for her body, or her body is too buff for her head. It looks like she's wearing a padded suit. Also, that alt mode is a brick with wings.

I might pick up a Slipstream retool because I don't have a Slipstream, but I have a Generations Windblade that looks far better than that one. To me, at any rate.

I think it's more to do with their aesthetic in the show not accurately being depicted in toy form.
While I'm not bothered by any of it because I have zero interest in those shows anyway, even I notice how the heads appear to be out of proportion to their bodies.

That said, I am leaning towards getting Strongarm because it did turn out alright looking. And I need something else to go with my out of place Legacy Elita-1. lol

We already know Windblade only comes with the sword. The figure is already up for pre-order:
https://hasbropulse.com/products/transf ... -windblade

We don't know if the rumored Slipstream or any other retools might have other accessories. There have been a couple recent redecoed exclusives with additional accessories including blast effects, and yes, a price increase to match. So this may happen, but that's just hopeful speculation, not part of the existing Windblade release.

Edit: I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the blue-green fire blast effects used in Mark's Instagram post are from the Victory Saber release.
