Unlike the IMG tags, you need the YouTube Video ID for them, not the URL.

These look good and all...


But why is Shockwave in core class? I know Studio Series has had it's inaccuracies here and there but to get somebody's actual size class drastically different and to not scale with anything else?

This is like that Legends Shockwave figure from Combiner Wars but this time there's nothing for this Core Shockwave to go with! Like...again why?

Same rules as Kingdom Core Class it looks like, specifically Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave.

EDIT: - Just read the other comment above and now I am understand: Seibertron's method is just an old, clunky and unintuitive way. I can't be bothered with that, so I'll just continue with the "normal" way of posting just the link. I hope this site gets the update it so desperately needs!

As much as I'd like Cybertronian modes to lean heavier into the less-human direction of the High Moon games. The recent WFC trilogy and BB movie Cybertron sequences would dictate "safe and familiar" is the ethos of this aesthetic.

Huh... I still have Cybertronian Adventures for the Wii to start on.

I know some on here, such as Will, were not entirely sold on those designs. However, Shockwave in particular, is still my favourite design for him. Chiefly because they modernised him.

I didn't like the FOC toys for that cheap thin plastic and simplistic transformations (a fake head on shockwave, really?!). But I never minded the designs themselves.

I forget, was Ravage the only "Cassette" from the BB Movie?

We are getting an earth mode Ironhide in the SS86 line.

Ha! He's not even the only core class shockwave from 2022. You're getting another one in Legacy.

Interesting interpretations. Disappointed that they made Shockwave another H-tank. Somehow, that just never seems to look good on him. Not sure what SS Soundwave is supposed to be - a Goblin Glider, perhaps? Hopefully there will be a 'lamppost' mode

They probably based Core Shockwave's alt mode on Dark of the Moon's Shockwave alt mode to be fair.

If Brawn's helmet closed around his mouth, he'd kinda resemble a green/yellow Juggernaut.

Have to say, those Bee movie figures look good.

Brawn for me is the clear winner. He is very sharp looking. I love that Alex Milne-esque drill bike mode, and the robot mode is very good looking. I am liking him a lot!

Ratchet also looks very good. Big, clunky, and with a Star Wars Jawa Sand Crawler alt mode to boot. I like it! It will make a nice Ironhide too.

Wheeljack is still looking good, me likey.

Soundwave is...interesting. That alt mode is rubbish, but I will get him.

Shockwave looks neat, but he really should have been a voyager. But, I saw this on Twitter, I am willing to bet this will get retooled into a "Prime Universe" shockwave for Legacy.

Ravage looks neat, glad he goes with Soundwave, looking forward to more Core reveals.

The Sweep wave is already out in some places, and they only do Voyager repacks for SS within their release year. Based on everything we've seen so far, Soundwave's casemate is supposed to be either the Hot Rod repaint or Junkyard, so while it may be poetic justice that for once an SS86 figure is the thing not getting revealed, it doesn't change the fact that Hasbro is still just straight ignoring some of their own product for some reason.

Yup. 2 ironhides (and 2 core shockwaves when you count Legacy) coming out the same year. Plus a core 86 Ratchet. So lots of Ironhide/ratchet in the SS line.

I think the comic reference is purely coincidence (it doesnt even fully resemble that). And yeah, I saw that about the fake chest on the canopy. Reminds me of that WFC Shockwave toy I didn't like which gave us a fake exposed head in alt mode. In this case, it's a made up janky alt mode so why was a fake chest even needed.

The designers really made those designs work in toy form!
I could see Soundwave vehicle mode being a Star Wars ship if change the color layout.Also he reminds me a bit of the gunship from the Metroid series.

These look sooooo good. I'm totally in love with Brawn, he looked so cool with his massive helmet.
His altmode is soo spacey cool!

Everybody looks soooo cool! Wow, absolutely Wow! And they also look solid and not over complex transformations.

Man, that Bumblebee movie did so much right and that added Cybertron scene now gives us these super cool iterations of G1 characters.

Soooo....Ravage is a wolf\dog now?! It's fine by me, but he is clearly no longer a panther or jaguar (at least in the case of this latest toy).

My theory on the whole "what the hell is Soundwave's alt-mode?!?" mystery:

- He is the new breastplate\chestplate for Trypticon

Way I see it...Trypticon became envious of all the numerous and various minions Soundwave has at his disposal, so he kicked Full-Tilt to the curb. Trypticon now uses Soundwave in his place (hence the funky alt-mode)...giving him access to any and all of Soundwave's little buddies.
