Blaster scales just as well as his g1 toy did.

Because hasbro doesn't really care about scale? Or probably and more accurately, the people in charge of signing off on the designs don't care. Also this is a child's toy franchise still...so I think the target market probably don't care either.
Also in my opinion? I don't care a bit about scale at all. Besides, not like you don't have other options

Because Hasbro hates you personally and wants to make sure every single decision they make causes you as much personal discomfort as possible. I heard they were going to recall every single VHS tape, DVD or Blu-Ray disc of Transformers and digitally insert Alpha Bravo into every scene.

He scales with all these below:
And Soundwave will too

Doctor McGrath wrote:I defend Rated X & completely agree that this scale is a real bummer. I feel like there are other characters coming out in Titans Return that would have been better suited to fit the Leader class. Sculpt looks nice but he's sized out of my classics collection. The base mode will be the deciding factor for me personally. If he connects to other TF's with base modes in a fun/clever way, I may still buy this.

This shockwave below is leader sized:

Like who? The only figure that would be better in a Leader is Galvatron, so he can go up against PMOP. And like someone said, they're probably making him a Leader so the inevitable Soundwave will scale with Megs and the Seekers. As mad as X is about this, he would probably wish death on the Hasbro design team if they made all of the main 's in Leader and then went and made Soundwave a Voyager, thus making them out of scale.
Hellscream9999 wrote:D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Would be nice. I'd love the option to put in alternative heads. I want Siren and Nightbeat something fierce, not just a head.
But you could just stick Nightbeat's head onto Galvatron though, that's close enough, right?
(or you could put his head on anybody else and pretend that it's 'undercover nightbeat'...)
Noideaforaname wrote:Kinda cool they're doing all the major Decepticons in Leader-scale --makes me think of Animated's making the Cons far larger than the Bots-- though being a cheapskate in interest of space and costs I'd much rather have a Legends Soundwave instead.

Same here bro, same here. I think they did the same thing with them as with CW Optimus Prime/Motormaster.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Not Hasbro, the Titans Return rumors said that.Cobotron wrote:Sabrblade made a comment that Hasbro had stated Soundwave would get a whole new mold.

Albeit, the rumors have been more or less pretty accurate so far. But rumors they remain till confirmed or denied.Cobotron wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Not Hasbro, the Titans Return rumors said that.Cobotron wrote:Sabrblade made a comment that Hasbro had stated Soundwave would get a whole new mold.
Ah, Isee. Sorry, I was working off of memory. So, grain of salt, and all that.
