I think silly is using an old outdated usage of the word rather than its current meaning. Basically he's saying he won't be considered cool if he doesn't buy the new one.

Wonder if it's too late for them to change the hips slightly on fort max though.

Indeed will and a shame as one small change could of got them more supporters. Sadly I would pass on this (and takara's) as space is too big an issue, had I been buying then it wouldn't of bothered me that he couldn't do that city mode but I wouldn't of been happy if his space ship mode had been compromised. ..assuming he could do it anyway of course as I mostly know fortress through the headmasters cartoon.

Really wish Hasbro would get their heads out of their @sses and produce some Decepticon characters worthy of the Leader class line.

Where is Sixshot and Overlord or and IDW based Scorponok that isn't a Botcon ripoff? Yeah, yeah...I'm aware there might be plans for a Titan class figure but there's still a lot people who would buy Leader class versions of Ft Maxx, Scorponok and Overlord in an instant!

I understand the PM Prime retool (I just don't like it) but oversized crappy designs like Blaster and Soundwave are a waste for this line IMO.

can't wait for Galvatron. building a G1 season 3 army in my room.

I was a denier at first, but the severe Leader Ultra Magnus retool work PERFECTLY. And even though the base mode is somewhat improvides with a misstransformation, it work marvelously and is a very clever callback to the original. Sure, like Ultra Magnus, the individual cab bot is sacrificed. So what? The final result is what count. I'm also sure that a 3p kit of Apex Armor / God Bomber will eventually come out as well.

Can't wait!

Kanra@ there is rumours of a apex armour/godbomber deluxe that combines with pm prime.

Youngprime@ there is also rumours of a six shot in the near future. But I think you can agree that he's something that they can take their time with in order to get everything right.

Some of the insiders that have been pretty reliable say God Bomber is coming from Hasbro as well.

I might get both the Hasbro and Takara Tomy Prime. That way I can have a Powermaster Optimus Prime and a Ginrai on my shelf. I imagine the TT version will have gray plastic and some chrome to set it apart and probably include God Bomber right in the box.

...That is a LOT of unpainted grey plastic on Prime. Like, wow.

I get that it kind of works with the design, but my goodness.

Actually, looking at the in person pics, he doesn't seem to have many paint details outside of a couple on his chest, head and truck side. Most of his colors seem to have been molded, rather than painted. Weird.

I'm excited to see what Takara does with the mold as the inevitable Super Ginrai release.

Take another look, much of the figure is painted. A large amount of the red is painted, take a close look at the inside of his arms, they're bare gray-ish plastic. The entire chest is also the same gray plastic with red, silver and blue paint over it. The cab also has that huge grill painted along with the stacks and lights. Then there's the massive stripes on both sides. He doesn't have a lot of fine paint details, but he does have a massive amount of paint on him.

Have we seen apex in head mode un-helmuted? I wonder if his brains are exposed like Soundwave's TM?

I've tried to talk myself out of PMOP, but MAN, he looks like fun.
Plus more bases means BIGGER CITY!!!!

I was ready for this to be my chug prime but then I got the aoe evolutions 2 pack of of eBay and I can confidently say PMOP will be a pass.

We did at Toy Fair, it looks like IDW Orion Pax, no "brains". Unlike the others Prime's entire head is a helmet covering the TM inside.
