No, it is because these individual robot modes don't exist, sadly. Not a deal breaker, because he still looks awesome.

Has anyone else noticed Starscream may have an ab crunch joint as well as a waist swivel? I looked closely at the stock photos and I noticed how Starscream is bent forward quite a bit at that area, so thatvwould be nice if it's a functional joint. Nothing but speculation though :-?

Hey, remember when it was normal for them to make entirely new characters?

Look on the bright side, at least you aren't a fan of RiD '01, Energon, or Cybertron. Then you'd really need to stock up on liquid nitrogen, 'cause I don't think anything from those is gonna get a new toy until Hell freezes over, thaws back out, and then freezes over again. That Generations Sky-Bite exists is a minor miracle. (For those about to bring up CW Prime or Siege Magnus, having part of a toy based on them is nowhere near the same.)

To all who suggested that the wrecked Omega Supreme seen in the Siege posters could instead be a Guardian Robot/Omega Sentinel, those things are blue and white, though, not black and red like Omega himself.

Before you point out things like their colors in IDW and such, this line has been stated to draw heavily from the G1 cartoon, in which the Guardian Robots originated and were indisputably blue and white.

Man, that Shockwave is really scratching my itch. Actually, several itches. First, a decently-sized CHUG-y version that can probably pass for a space gun like the original. Second, a combines-with-part-of-its-vehicle-mode-robot figure; we definitely need more of those that aren't Optimus Prime. Third, a figure that can be a classic representation of a classic character, or a funky, bat-shizzlesnit crazy re-imagining of that character (I'm already thinking of getting another and throwing more gray and green on it for an Energon Shockblast homage, 'cause he'd definitely wear that scary gun backpack). BOUGHT.

Also, Flywheels. Here's hoping we might get some cassette combiners somewhere down the line.

Okay, after seeing both of them side by side, I'm actually confused about how we got Omega=Ark. Cause, I know it's Animated, but they really aren't that similar other than the round nose section. And I kinda want to get a WFC video game version of Omega because of the tank section. I'd still love it if Animated got some love, but at this point I'm starting to doubt if we will ever truly get any Animated love

Wolfman Jake wrote:I'm not too upset about Soundwave's alt mode. It at least looks alien. I do like that it can form the lamp post from "More than Meets the Eye: Part 1" as well. The only thing that upsets me is that he's got YELLOW optics. Why not red, Hasbro!? They're trying to be as G1 cartoon accurate with other characters' colors, but they drop the ball on Soundwave's eyes!

It's probably some kind of stokholm syndrome but because all the Soundwaves put out by Hasbro over the years had yellow eyes, its become the eye colour I associate with him. So I dont mind. Objectively in terms of a toy aesthetic the yellow works better in contrast to the dark blue, and I am glad to see light piping has made a return.

More importantly, though, it's a DECENT voyager sized robot mode seeker mold, at long last! With any luck, even if Skywarp isn't released at regular retail like Thundercracker almost certainly will, he'll see distribution as an exclusive or as part of a box set down the line.

Shockwave looks perfect. It's a shame he'll be expensive, as he's being put into the Leader class with a whole bunch of...spare arms and legs?

Fixed that first part for you ;) As for shockwave while I am very happy with the bot, its kind of nuts we have to pay double the price of soundwave to get a bot that is essentially the same size. Plus i find the extra bits super odd, as they are pieces of himself. And it goes against Hasbro saying these characters wouuld only have gimmick they had originally. I dont remember Soundwave having multiple arms. Its basically the same as the POTP Leader class if the main attraction was the voyager sized bot it came with and not the big leader sized bot it turns into. I am very curious as to how they will be packaging him.

Also, to anyone who is confused or upset that Reflector is Deluxe sized, he IS actually in scale this way. Going back to the Sunbow style guides and scale charts, Reflector is supposed to be just about as tall as one of the Autobot cars like Wheeljack or Hound.

Thanks! I know i was confused. Especially since all the reflector toys out there tend to confirm him being smaller than that (like the Shockwave retool Hasbro gave to Botcon)

As for the Decepticon "Weaponmasters," they're okay. I'll be getting all of the Weaponmasters too, if only for the laser fire and explosion effects they come with. The Takara Tomy Transformers Legends Targetmasters are far superior and will remain the definitive "Classics" versions on my Classics display shelves.

Ok now you got me curious. I own sme of those legends targetmasters and dont really find them all that great (especially since the neck joint is not seperate). What makes you find them so superior?

ill still get him though and I thank Hasbro for finally giving us a decent looking voyager seeker

no more wacking a classic name on a totally different looking character.

I think they learnt that a long time ago, we havent seen off looking characters for a while now. Of course, if you look at the movies you do have Blitzwing...

Pretty sure he will be as G1 as possible, that tank confirms a lot. I think thats what most fans wanted overall, so I think it was a smart move from Hasbro.

It seems the Siege line is making good to include all the "accessories" of Already Released Titans, except we still don't have a Slammer, which really wasn't a Transformer to begin with...

While I personally would put Fasttrak on the same page as Scamper (smaller transforming vehicle) not everyone probably would. I'm pretty sure if hasbro intends to do a Scorponok Titan for 2020, then Fasttrak would be included with it.

What's even weirder though was the decision for the TFCC to make a Generations Scamper repaint in the colors of BW Scorponok for their final release in 2017. It's like an homage, to a different bot of the same name using an accessory, of another titan... 8-}

I'm on the edge as to whether to purchase the deluxe weaponizers that are Titan Companants. If they can interact with past deluxes (i.e. Prime wars trilogy figures), and can truly work with their respective Titans, then I'll definitely get them. If not, I may have to pass.

I mean I know the Titans are huge and take up a lot of space, but maybe just a couple promo shots of Brunt sitting atop TR Trypticon in base mode, fastened in some way, that would sell it for me.

Motto: "Every little bit helps"
Weapon: Dark Saber Sword
Thoughts so far:

Battlemaster Blowpipe and Aimless: Both look good, yes, they are just the Takara Targetmasters but at least now my TR Triggerhappy will have his partner. Also I love Aimless’s effects

Micromaster Air Strike Patrol: So, I have the originals, but these do looks good, though Stormcloud seems to have CW Aerielbot problems with the robot is under the fuselage. The fact the combine to form a version of the Star Saber/ Dark Saber is a nice homage (hopefully they will stay together beeter)

Micromaster Soundwave Spy Patrol: Another Laserbeak and Ravage, wow the originality. But the do look good, I really like Laserbeak having the “cockpit” visor from More Than Meets the Eye part 1.

Deluxe Class Skythread: So Finally, Flywheels gets a proper update, instead of just a head, though that was excellent and one of the best Titan masters. This doesn’t become two robots like “Toy of the Year” Battletrap and I’m thankful for that.

Deluxe Class Refraktor: Reflector gets a new toy, Robot mode looks really good, alt mode is a bit lame, it looks like Shockwave’s arm. The camera mode is a really nice touch but do I really want to by three of the same toy, especially given they are Deluxes

Weaponizer Brunt: What is with these Weaponizers and me wanting them. Maybe it’s because they are something different from the army of the same old 84/85 Tfs, but still it looks great. It will go well with the TR Trypticon I don’t have.

Voyager Megatron: Looks really good, but I am happy with my TR Voyager Megatron, so while this has his sword, this is a pass. Unless he is repainted as G2 Megatron or Archforce.

Voyager Soundwave: The alt mode is a joke, it looks like the just got the robot mode and squashed it and said none. Also they seem to be going overboard with the damage effect. An easy pass.

Voyager Starscream: Jet mode looks good, Robot is fine except for the oversized head tower things. Not sure if I need another Starscream, but maybe worth a look (or I’ll wait for a possible Skywarp repaint)

Leader Class Shoockwave: Shockwave screams ripoff like Energon Bulkhead with is "leader" class only due to some crappy armour add-ons which make it look like he killed his clone and is now wearing his corpse.
Looking for:

I'm pretty sure they are not the Takara versions and are new, but simpler molds.
