New Hunt for a New Year
Posted: Mon Dec 23, 2019 7:00 pmWho’s up for a Hunt? Not your normal hunt, either. Something we’ve never tried before. Something with some real stakes. A chance to lose something in game. Something precious and irreplaceable. Oh, there will be winners to be sure, but there will definitely be a loser. Are you willing to take the risk? Are you mature enough to handle losing gracefully? Are you mature enough to claim your prize? Think long and hard before signing up for this hunt. Once you're in, you are committed to playing and following the rules, even if they come back to bite you.

I propose the first ever Name Hunt! The winner gets to choose a name from one of the other registered combatants and apply it to one of their own Transformers. This transfer is permanent. That’s right. Someone out there could walk away with one of your active transformers names.
In example, if Burn and KAMJIIN were the registered players and Burn were to win (A shocking upset, I know), Burn would choose one name from my registered transformers. He may take a shine to Warborn, and change Tankules name to Warborn. Warborns name becomes Bob. I will now update Bob's profile to reflect the reason for the change, “Warborn was challenged to single combat by Tankules. In a daring battles, the treacherous Decepticon Tankules hacked into the command protocols of the Guardian Robots and used them to defeat Warborn, and in victory, claimed his name”.
I don’t necessarily have to change his name to Bob, or put exactly that scenario in my profile, but you get the idea. I may change his name to Tankules, or Starburst, or even Mini-Maximus Prime (that will cool things off, I’m sure). Burn can be a heel, and goad me into a deeper rivalry by dangling that name like bait. If I were an Autobot, he may give me a series of challenges to win it back. If he were a noble Autobot, he may challenge me to a duel for the name 1 on 1. Since we're both evil Decepticons , he may blackmail me to the tune of €5 million. Or he may keep it forever sparking a lasting enmity (flameless but trash talky nonetheless, we're all mature adults here, and we know what we're signing up for).
I cannot stress this enough. If you do not feel you are mature enough to handle a scenario of this magnitude, or are unwilling to risk one of your names DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS HUNT!
Hunt will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 31st@01:00 GMT
Hunt will end on Sunday, January 5th@01:00 GMT
