It is the year 2018. The Cybertronian Civil War is at a deadlock, with neither side having any tactical advantage over the other. This war could drag on for millions of years more, exacerbated by the fact that everyone got bored years ago and both sides are using the "war" as an excuse to secure further funding from their respective sponsors, which they proceed to spend on Engex and chrome.

However, all is not well. The discovery of Matrices from the age of the Primes, combined with the Decepticons still refusing to turn down their obnoxious rock and roll music, has reignited the conflict and shattered the peace. To make matters even worse, Optimus Prime has disappeared, leaving the Autobots leaderless.

Fortunately, Sentinel Prime has stepped out of retirement to fill the power vaccuum. Has he still got the touch? Let's hope so...
