Profile: "Subcommander of the Turbomasters, Boss lives up to his name. A commanding presence both on and off the battlefield, he's got a dangerous combination of smarts, bravery, and heavy firepower. He's the type to lead by example, being right up on the front lines with the rest of the troops, adapting his battlefield strategies quickly to account for whatever tactic the Decepticons might throw at them." [TFwiki, Boss (G1)]

Boss leads with courage and cunning, whilst being fearless in front line battles. He’s able to outwit even the smartest Decepticon with the sheer skill of his combat strategies.

Ever since Thunderclash’s promotion to regional commander, Boss became the Turbomasters’ acting commander. However, because he still serves under Thunderclash, not much has changed for him or the other Turbomasters. This suits Boss just fine. Whether he leads the Turbomasters himself or whether he leads them under Thunderclash matters little as long as the Predators and the rest of the Cons get what’s coming to them.

Abilities: As a vehicle, his central, forward facing turbine can elevate and fire missiles to defend against Decepticon aerial troops. He can travel up to speeds of about 299mph. As a robot, this turbine engine functions as a hand-held missile launcher. Boss is highly intelligent and can formulate brilliant offensive and defensive strategies with the help of the Turbomasters’ two other strategists, Hurricane and Rotorstorm.

Weaknesses: While undoubtedly courageous, Boss tends to be cautious in battle. This makes him more reactive. He feels that it’s his job to keep everyone else alive at the end of the day.
