Profile:

Most mechanics like to get themselves dirty when working on repairs and machines, but not Gadget. His preferred method of work is to keep things as organized and in their place as possible, since he is also a trained surgical Decepticon. Normally mechanics and surgeons are two different things that should not be mixed, but not for Gadget. He; although very clean; is always looking for ways to tune up other Decepticons and upgrade their parts.

Gadget is also amazingly good at visualizing what he can put together with whatever scraps other Decepticons bring to him. He has many neatly places boxes of scrap parts and metal that he many times looks through, and thinks of gadgets to construct.

Gadget is an ancient Cybertronian. Back in his early days, Autobots and Decepticons alike would admire his amazing contributions to Cybertronian medical and technical science. In modern days however, only the most historically literate or ones who lived back then even knows about him. Most see him now as "just an awkward scientist guy who needs to get a life".

Gadget, unlike many other Decepticons, is not a seeker of war, but rather prefers peace between both Autobots and Decepticons. Gadget often is assigned to make machines and war vehicles for the Decepticons, but he purposely makes them not too deadly to give the Autobot victim a chance to give up and retreat. Gadget doesn’t see neither the Autobots or Decepticons as enemies, but like siblings fighting for what they both want. Gadget just wants peace.

The Decepticons however feel that Gadget’s longing for peace and everyone to get along is a threat, and that he would join the Autobot side, so rather than him being able to help in the battlefield (which he would rather not do), they keep him locked up in his quarters and the labs to make sure that he’s busy with tampering with thinks and fixing machines, and hopefully building some useful things.

Long ago, Gadget was kidnapped and forced into stasis by an unknown group of Cybertronian bandits. Millions of years later, Gadget’s stasis pod was discovered by the Autobots. They didn’t recognize him as a Cybertronian who had done many amazing contributions to the scientific field, but rather only recognized him by the faction symbol he wore. The Autobots sent his stasis pod to Garrus-9 for him to be awoken from, and to be just another Decepticon prisoner. Later, the Decepticons took over Garrus-9 by siege, and Gadget was freed and tested. Finally, after millions of years in a comatose stasis state, he has a chance at life again.

Abilities:
Gadget is a master of surgical procedures, and mechanical science. He is also an extremely skilled inventor, and often comes up with new technologies.

His vehicle can go from 60 to 99 mph, but he doesn’t have a need for extreme speed.

Gadget can also do self-repair procedures on himself as well as others fairly easily.

His wrist blowtorch’s flame power can be controlled by Gadget’s mind. He can go from welding something together with it to shooting a giant amount of flames enough to burn up a whole Autobot. This method of defense only works well for close hand combat.

His laser pistol is the same as a normal one except it becomes his light bar in vehicle mode, and can deploy it in alt mode for shooting while driving.

His surgical grade diamond knife blade is mostly used by him for conducting surgeries and delicate experiments, but it can be used to cause quite a stab wound on an opponent.

In armored repair vehicle mode, he has a small seat that a transformer can sit on while he uses his three surgical precision repair arms to fix wounds and injuries. He can also repair weapons in this mode.

His long range radar allows him to escape being caught in a battle by surprise.

His low fuel consumption vehicle allows Gadget to travel long distances to assist other Decepticons and transit machines for experiments.

Weaknesses:
Gadget’s love for peace often puts him between a rock and a hard place whenever he comes across Autobots, and often does not take action, and as a result he suffers more damage than he needs to. He prefers to let the other party take action first before doing anything violent. He doesn’t want to be the attacker, only the defender.
His Dexterity and Melee combat skills are not the best since he doesn’t like to fight.
He's not the bravest of transformers, so he often runs away instead of fighting.
