History/Profile: Given that Cybertron was largely not a liquid world, it would be difficult for anyone to survive, much less thrive, in the naval field. Stormwrecker had been able to carve out a successful niche for precisely that reason. His ingenuity in the field of industrial design carried over well to the minor but bustling shipyards of the Rust Sea and the Hydrax Plateau in-between before the region became a literal sea of rust, matching its name. In the midst of Cybertron’s renowned “Golden Age” Stormwrecker had become a thriving designer, providing both the designs and the raw materials that would forge many of the commercial naval vehicles and defense armaments in use at the time.

Stormwrecker's gifts in both craft and weapons design made him a natural contractor for Autobot security outposts and he began to profit by offering his services to various city-states who chose to transfer a portion of their shipping business by ship. This only increased during the advent of what would be come to be known as the Great War.

It was for these reasons that Stormwrecker's exploits caught the attention of various Decepticon warlords, each of whom were mechanoids who sought to expand their influence and power base by whatever means necessary. Stormwrecker jumped at the opportunity. Even if he was just a small cog in a much larger machine, playing that small role still allowed him to carve a successful niche for himself. Little did he realize at the time just how much opportunity truly awaited him.

Stormwrecker profited from the war as much as any Cybertronian, so much so that he took another naval-based Cybertronian by the name of Wavecrasher as an apprentice tradesman so that he could expand his operations further. The younger Cybertronian also proved to be a useful canvas that Stormwrecker could modify at his whim. It did not take all that long, however, before Autobot Command traced where certain Deception warlords were receiving their latest influx of weapons. Stormwrecker and his associates were subsequently arrested and tried for war illegal war profiteering. Stormwrecker found himself bounced from one Autobot prison to another until at last finding himself on Garrus-9.

Though Stormwrecker is approaching the end of his sentence, he holds out little hope. With the war still raging fiercely, he has no expectation that his Autobot captors will release him in to the universe to profit from their endless conflict once more.

Weakness(es): Because of his considerable size, his slower speeds make him much more of a target to faster acting threats. He is an ineffective melee combatant unless an individual just happens to get close enough for him to maul them by hand.
