At the very least the Gattai Saurer aka Fossilsaurus, as he played a major role in the anime (though he's modeled more after the prototype). Released in Japan and Europe, but sadly not in the US.

That'd be dope.
I would also hope for Devil Satan Six, with anime accurate weapons. Blue Jet seems to have anime accurate swords, so it is possible.
And, honestly, I am okay with 50$ per. Like, its a collectors toy of a product line that, unlike transformers, hasn't been around all that much in its later years. It's bound to be well made, as most (not all) japanese market exclusive collectibles are. I hope that they spruce up the paint jobs a little more for the final release, the colours on Bike-Robo from those photos looked a little... thickly applied, like they weren't the final iteration.

Fingers crossed!

I would like to see the main 6 robots from the Gobots line:

Leader-1 , Turbo , Scooter, Crasher , Cy-kill, Cop-tur .... are the ones you see the most by far.

There is 3 here, need the other 3 now and I may pick up. I had the small ones as a kid and wanted to pick them up again on E-Bay, but prices for some complete can run $100. which is crazy. Cop-Tur is always missing parts too... We will see ! :ic$:

No news on release dates or decos yet, we do have an announcement for a new figure:

Action Toys Machine Robo Tough Trailer on CollectionDX

The original Machine Robo Tough Trailer and his brohter Pro Truck Racer are retools of Titan Boy from the Super Sentai series Flashman, so there's a possible retool for when they feel like it :)

That is gorgeous. I'm almost more excited for these than for most of the 2016 combiner wars stuff. These look terrific, highly poseable and pander to my fandom needs in a way that is different from Transformers but which I see as intrinsically connected to the history of the evolution of the Transformers brand.

Were any of the Go Bots released in the US Sentai retools?

Nope, though the US did get a good number of Sentai Robo under the Godaikin line. :)

GoDaiKin, there's a name I have thought about in years. Did they actually sell those in mass retail in the US? Only place I ever saw them was in a shop at Disney World in the mid 80's, where my parents let me get one as a souvenir.

New pics and info for Action Toys' Machine Robo: Revenge of Chronos figures from the Toy Soul event that's currently going on in Hong Kong - https://www.facebook.com/DaimChocReports/posts/186421508374951

Action Toys Machine Robo - Revenge of Cronos. Thanks to 52toys. Coming in February 2016 at ~200HKD

Because these are all based on the Machine Robo: Revenge of Chronos anime designs (in which all of these were good guys), instead of Hanna-Barbera's Challenge of the GoBots cartoon designs, those who were villains in GoBots don't look so villainous here.

Actually it's not a "Not" but Machine Robo: Revenge of Chronos starring Blue Jet(Fitor), Rod Drill(Screwhead), Bike Robo(Cy-Kll), Battle Robo(Tank), and Eagle Robo(Leader-1).

I cant wait for these as I am a fan of the Machine Robo series except for Machine Robo Rescue.
I will own all of these.

Oh I knew that ;) , it's a force of habit given this is the "Not Transformers" non-transformers thread.

It's a good that Bandai is licensing their properties to a 3rd party or should I say 2nd party? (1st it was Artstorm for Jet robo (a parts forming thing of beauty and now........)

Regular weaponry (unlike the GoBots, who did have hand lasers).

Pro Truck Racer has me stoked! Does it also "transform"? Btw, those 80s style JP anime really hands down beats TFA and RID by a mile!

He transformed in the show, so I'd presumed that his toy will do the same.

And I agree about how good these look. Machine Robo: RoC's animation was so good-looking that, by comparison, it makes the animation of the G1 cartoon (which aired contemporaneous to Machine Robo) look downright sinful.

Can't say I was a fan of them, but Jet Robo and Eagle Robo look damn good.

He might be chunky, but he sure is a biggun'.

As for his English name, he wasn't in the GoBots line, so he has no English name.

He was originally a mold from Bandai's Choushinsei Flashman series (the 10th Super Sentai series), and was added to the Machine Robo line when MR got relaunched in Japan in 1986 for the Revenge of Chronos anime, which came about after the GoBots cartoon and toyline were dying down in the West. By this point, Bandai was fully heading the MR line, while Tonka's GoBots line was on its last leg, so Pro Truck Racer remains one of the many Japanese-only figures that came about after GoBots ended.
