Yeah I'm waiting for Amazon to get them in. They look really, really good.

well Smyths Toys also stock those

as well as Tesco

although funnily enough.....TRU don't have those yet.....on their website(even if they have them in store).

I just picked up a few of these yesterday. I saw them and thought, "I was almost done collecting the LEGO TMNT sets, and now this?! Curses, Mega Bloks, you've doomed me again!"

btw can you not work out what figures your getting by the serial numbers on the blind bags? surely someone must've put together a guide somewhere on the Internet?

The codes are imprinted on the left side of the back of the bag, but there are different "sets" of codes. For example, Don's code might start with "A02" or "A24." I've found a few videos on the 'Tube that list them.

Frankly, I'm leaning a little towards the "Classic" ('80s Fred Wolf cartoon) versions, since they're more articulated. Despite being smaller, they have universal joints galore! The Nickelodeon versions don't even have elbow movement.

... I'm still getting all the Nick versions, don't get me wrong.

Glass-eyed Donnie swooning over April's picture is a tad creepy, however.

btw does anyone know how much those Mega Bloks classic Turtles individual sets are going for in the UK? coz i'm seriously considering those! seeing as they have phenomenal articulation for their size, as well as a metal shell ect ect ect...

so! i went to Glasgow today to try to find those Mega Bloks classic Turtles.....& so far....no joy! tried TRU, Govan! no luck there! even tried the Asda next to it.....STILL no luck.....tried B&M nearby....nadda! so went back into city & tried The Entertainer, Hamleys, A1 Toys & WH Smith.....not a sausage....or Mega Blok turtle! so now on my way to Smyths Toys to see if my luck pans out there! but i seriously doubt it.

i was right! no joy at Smyths! i'm seriously doubting whether we'll even SEE those figures here in Scotland.

I asked Playmates on FB about the chances of the Classics Collection Shredder and Krang figures being released at some point, they said;

"There's always hope. Wouldn't put a percentage on it, but there's always hope."

Anybody see the Sprukits TMNT model kits? I just ran into them at my local TRU. I bought Raphael; haven't put it together yet, but it looks pretty neat (despite not having any articulation below the hips). It'll be nice to have something to tide me over until the next series of blind bag figures comes out.

I thought the line was over. I have the one that you build a 6" Batman complete with SH Figuarts hips. Fantastic kit. I'm very disappointed that the turtles aren't the same. Any idea where I can get info on what kits are coming?

Unfortunately, no. Anything I've seen online only mentions the four turtles, and that's all I've seen in stores as well.

With the TMNT Classics line having fizzed out I wish we could get a subscription based toyline like MOTU Classics and the new Thundercats series for TMNT and have them remake each of the figures from the original '88 line with improved articulation and such.

I would be especially interested in them remaking the figures between '88 and '90-ish.

They have re-released some of the older figures a few times. The 25th anniversary saw the turtles, April, Splinter and Casey Jones (who was not as prominent in the old cartoon as in the 2003 one) while the foot had Shredder with a miniature Krang figure, Bebop, Rocksteady, the Foot Soldier, and Slash? (he only showed up three times in the cartoon and wonder why him over Leatherhead, Baxter, or Rat King). They also re-released the original Party Wagon with the stickers pre-applied though it lacked the rubber band to hold the character in the swinging door seat.

Then two years ago they re-released them again but this time with the original Krang figure instead of Slash.

I have the re-released Party Wagon and 4 Turtles.

What I want is not not straight-up re-releases but the equivalent of MOTU and Thundercats Classics lines:

We did have something similar in the TMNT Classics line but they only got through the 4 turtles, Bebop & Rocksteady and then the original Movie versions of the Turtles before the line ended. It seems the TMNT CLasics line was not popular enough in stores to continue which is why I suggest a Subscription service like MOTU and Thundercats.

Personally, i feel the Classics line wasn't handled well. The Turtles had the cross-eye problem, and Bebop and Rocksteady were horribly out of scale with them. Also, they were a bit limited in distribution. I wanted to order them from BBTS, but Playmates would only allow the figures to be sold to people in the US. I had to get my Turtles off ebay.

Bebop and Rocksteady were horribly out of scale with the Turtles and also to my thinking, each other: The Rhino is smaller and slimmer than the Warthog?!

I had to look through the Turtles on the pegs very carefully to get the least cross-eyed looking ones (my Donny is still a little bit cross-eyed despite my efforts)

I didn't have any problems finding them in stores, all the local TRUs carried them, the movie series is still peg-warming at the nearest of the TRUs.

I have also run into the BBTS problem with trying to order anything TMNT related from outside the US which sucks.

That's been my complaint with their figures since the beginning (i.e. the '80s). Rocksteady always gets these tiny feet and skinny legs, and Bebop has consistently been beefier. Rock needs to be a lot bigger, being a cross of two organisms that are both larger than a warthog. (Also, why is he the first boss in every TMNT video game? I could go on forever...)

And they should both be larger than the Turtles, although I supposed that might just be a limitation placed by the toy-making industry in general.
