I looked into the Archie comics on eBay, yesterday.

E.X.P.E.N.S.I.V.E.

For the whole set, at least. More reasonable prices for some single issues. It is a shame there aren't any hardcover compilations (that I could find anyway).

However, Armaggon I remember from the old Fighting Game on the SNES.

So I notice NECA have updated their TMNT movie line. Specifically that of TMNT 2. Aside from erroneously giving the Turtles their weapons ( :P ) I spy another Shredder... :-D

There is a keno planned. I'm wanting tetsuo (and then a rage and honor Cynthia Rothrock :p). Plus 2nd April would be nice along with other American gothic figures :)

NECA’s Cartoon-Inspired TMNT Turtle Van Going up for Preorder

Five months after Super7 revealed their 7-inch scale Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Wagon for $450,

Image

NECA counters with theirs, called the Turtle Van. Slightly smaller sized for the cartoon figures that run closer to a 6.5-inch scale, the NECA TMNT Turtle Van will cost $250, and include light-up features. So it’s much more of a bargain, but with TV-cartoon inspired design and linework it really works best with the animated figures.

Image

Per their official announcement, here are all the details:

“Based on the classic 1980s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series! Roaring straight out of the sewers and down the streets of New York City, it’s Donatello’s greatest invention: the Turtle Van! The Turtles will stomp the Foot flat with this mighty mobile command center, which measures approximately 14” long, 12” tall, and 8” wide. The Turtle Van features rotating roof cannons, hinged doors, rubber tires, opening shell roof, removable laser chair, Foot-tenderizing side doors, LED lights, and more! So packed with features, yet there’s still room for all four 7” scale NECA Turtles action figures (sold separately). Comes in classic collector friendly throwback packaging!”

The Turtle Van goes up for sale today, Tuesday, April 5, at The NECA Store, where preorders will open for two weeks. (Presumably after the Secret of the Ooze figures close.) Take a look through the gallery below to explore all its details.

Tough choice other than price and lights. Not keen on Necas roof and I prefer it based of a VW van. Neither of them can launch £50 turtle figures through their roofs though, which is probably a good thing.
shame they didnt reissue the party wagon toy over here in the UK :( as having that and the Neca one might be the smart choice.

Ive preordered s7 Scratch and Neca Movie Saki vs Yoshi though I really need to get the movie turtles at some pooint.

The van design especially is where the difference between toy and show becomes apparent. To me, the latter says "Turtle Van". Not the Super7 one. But I think this all but confirms larger vehicles such as the Drill Module, Turtle Blimp and Technodrome will never exist within these collector lines. The smaller stuff, like the Footski, Footcruiser or the Knucklehead are the most likely.

Finally, the last one!!

New Gundam-inspired Mecha TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) Toys are coming!

It's an officially licensed product from Nickelodeon in partnership with DreamEx, who has previously released an incredible line of 1/6 scale TMNT figures not too long ago.But there's not much information available to us in the US minus the DreamEx Twitter account that posted the images.

Didn't know about mecha shredder. His chest looks a bit gundam ish over being shredder ish if that makes sense. Still cool tho, until eye watering prices are announced. If the turtles were joytoy sized I'd probably be more into them

Also didn't realise its been a year since I preordered power rangers Raph and tommy on toysarama and I still don't have them o. O

It's very weird that the Leo figure was never made. I'm guessing it's because of helmet breakage, but you'd think they could have just taken off the wings and modified the art.

Exactly. The Turtles have never had the problems of other lines feature characters, with individual designs. Redeco to minor retool of the same mold. That has always been the solution to all four of them. So it is very weird when one is omitted. I suppose so much time has passed that the reason will likely never come to light.

The pre-order has arrived!

Really really tempted but needing at least the three other turtles to complete the set, my wallets not that committed. Not even for the teeny party wagon to Assemble.

Sale item!

Maybe the new film will be good despite the new turtles design. Hard to set a lower bar after rise of the tmnt designs but they aren't far off. If not at least there will always be TMNT (4)

-I'd like Neca to do movie style turtles for TMNT alongside the TMNT versions, might be an interesting take to see what they would have looked like live action.
