S.H. Monsterarts Godzilla Figures

I've decided to get into the S.H. Monsterarts Godzilla line, and have already locked down quite a few. :D

Right now, my priority #1 is King Ghidorah. He retailed at $125 when he was released in January 2014, but has already skyrocketed to $350-$400 on the secondary market.

Does anyone know where I can find one at a decent price? Any US or Japanese internet toy stores I should be looking at besides BBTS?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

What about the coming Mecha King Ghidorah looks badass!!

I tried to start this.. well not really S.H.M but a Godzilla collection a while back and got as far as Revoltech Baragon , excellent little figure . I will eventually get some S.H.M , MKG could be a good Re-starting point .

I have Mecha King Ghidorah on preorder, but would still love the original.

I don't know - if Bandai operates at all like Takara, hopefully they'll reissue the original at some point in the near future. The demand seems to be crazy for that 3-headed dude.

To think, I had the original on preorder but decided to cancel it way back in December. :-(

Yeah a lot of these figures are just out of my price range now :BANG_HEAD:

My grail from this line has to be Biollante it's a fantastic piece :x

I really fancy getting Big G himself (probably the Showa version as the original '54 film is the only one I've seen aside from the 2014 version, which cool as it is doesn't really count). Aside from him I fancy Biollante, Destroyer, Final Wars Gigan, Kiryu (the Millennium version of MechaGodzilla) and maybe Mothra and Battra. They look like they'd scale well with the Robot Damashii Evangelions to, so once I complete my set of RD Evas (only have 00 at the moment) I reckon the SH Monsterarts figures would look great pitted against them.

(Also, Bandai, if you're reading this, hurry the hell up and release those SHM Angels!)

It's funny, I started getting back into Godzilla via MonsterArts because I was collecting Pacific Rim stuff. Now I'm thinking of getting rid of Pacific Rim. I could use the money, and the movie's not as relevant as it was (though it's still a cash cow for NECA, apparently).

Right now I've accumulated the following:

In-Hand:

-'94 Godzilla (original release)
-Burning Godzilla
-Comic-Con Explosion Godzilla
-Mothra
-Fire Rodan

Preorder/Not-Shipped:

-'95 Rebirth Godzilla
-Kiryu Heavy Arms
-Mecha King Ghidorah
-Battra
-Gamera
-King Kong

All I really need are the ones I watched a bunch as a kid: Godzilla, Ghidorah, Rodan & Mothra. But I'm clearly fanning out (especially with King Kong/Gamera). Just hope we get another regular King Ghidorah release.
