I decided to buy a generic army tank today. I figured 15 dollers was a decent price for what I got.

this is the first time i've seen anything from it's product line.

I've compared it to thhe GI joe dune buggy and a generic army jeep
personally, I'm happy with it. This will look real good with all my soldiers.

now, I'd like to know what other's think. is it good to buy slightly cheaper products?

as far as I'm concerned, considering I can't afford most offical GI JOE vehciles, or even find them in stores for that matter, I'd rather buy a generic tank like this one.
but of course I usually buy offical GI JOE's, I also have occasionally bought a generic figure.

I've seen that hot pink tank before, and thought of buying it. It seems to me there was a Cobra tank in the distant past that that one resembles, so it had me interested, save for the color.
I've sort of just recently got into Joes, like as a main part of my collecting activities, and I get turned off by the really bad distribution they get at least in my neck of the woods. I usually look at the cheaper army toys as a way of boosting my Joe forces, but they never seem to manage the same general asthetic to me. Most of the generic stuff seems to have rounder edges and stuff. It's a noticable difference too, not as negligable as, say, Legacy vs. Clone Wars Star Wars vehicles. The real Joe deals usually have straighter lines and sharper corners.
However, were I to find a generic piece that really struck me as cool, I'd buy it. I've got no problems with maintaining the purity of lines or toy types at all. If I had any skill at painting or customizing, I'd buy that tank you've got and trick it all kinds of out. But, with my ham-hands, it would just look horrible. And honestly, the only ting I dislike about that particular tank is the color.
