I get to see the TF's fabtastic chins again! I vote for a match between Prowl and Starscream's chin! Then Optimus' chin to fight the winner.

I find that digging through Youtube is like walking through a sewer. I might find something of value but I have wade through so much crap, that by the time if I find what I what I'm looking for I can't enjoy it because of all the other crap that I had wade through.

Maybe when it comes to DVD and I have absoultly nothing better to with my money than I'll buy it.

My flight back from the ancestral homeland arrived late on the 26th, so I set my internal clock to wake up when Transformers came on. Somehow, my eyes snapped open just in time to catch the show from the beginning. And am I glad they did.

I wish that these folks had written the movie. Beside the genuine fun that the new series delivers, it features some extremely well-structured storytelling, where the events that set up others all occur as a natural outcome of what came previously. The assortment of primary characters might draw on some tried-and-true archetypes, but it does so in a consistently fresh and entertaining fashion.

I enjoy the feeling, missing in almost every incarnation of the Transformers (frequently even the original), that the Decepticons are a very real threat. Starscream can fend off five Autobots, and Megatron can do the same with one arm blown off while on hostile turf.

Sari is genuinely endearing. When was the last time we could say that about a human sidekick? Maybe the homo erectus tribes in Beast Wars, and they didn't have lines.

The number of G1 tributes and references paid off without taking away from the unique identity of the new cartoon. I'm also happy that TF:A is building its own identity independent of the movie franchise. The Allspark reminds me more of the Creation Matrix than of Bay's weird cube, and every character has received both different and more robust development than anyone on Bay's screen.

Terrific stuff. I've been rooting for TF:A ever since we saw the first toys, and I'm glad the cartoon has lived up to what I hoped. It's a very solid show for kids that nostalgic grown-ups can watch, too. I hope the show gets good ratings!

Edit: Just watched it a second time with the girlfriend, who liked it enough to want to keep watching the series. Girlfriend test = pass. And the two of us do not watch much television, either.

For the most part i loved it. Until they introduced the humans... The animation for all the "organics" is horribly lame. The humans definitely look like they are from really bad anime, like DBZ. Othe than the human element I thought the majority of the episode was done beautifully. There some issues I had, what with inconsistencies in the animation and such. But that is to be expected with any new cartoon show.

I give this show 4 out of 5 stars. It loses one because of the craptastic humans Sari being th worst.

It is quite possibly the best TF series yet. I have to be honest. I'm liking it even more than before.

Gee, I seem to to recall posting 2 FREAKING DAYS AGO!! when it would be on. This is the 2nd time on this site that I have done the legwork for everyone elses benefit and gotten jack-diddly-squat for a thanks. I don't want front page neon signs and I wouldn't normally be P.O.'ed if this were the first time...but twice now, and with other rude, unwarranted garbage to put up with on top of it. I thought this was a community but I guess I was mistaken. Crap like this makes TFW2005 start looking better and better. You guys just lost a Seibertronian and I will go to great lengths to keep more from joining this sight.

Oh boo hoo, you didn't get credit for it. Guess what? NO ONE'S PERFECT! NOT A SINGLE PERSON!

And FYI...here, you have a voice and an opinion. TFW will silence you at the first sign of trouble. I should know, I've been on the receiving end of their crap. Some of it was well deserved, but some of it wasn't. Wait until they slam you with the banhammer and tell you that you don't have a voice. Then we'll see what you think of Seibertron.

And if you're going to act like this, we don't need you here. Trolls suck.

I don't know, I finally had a chance to watch it and the human characters, some of the voices, and the chins just don't do it for me. As someone who grew up in the G1 era, it's great to see so many queues from the original series and I think the restart with Prime not being the big boss is a great idea, but the Teen Titan-style animation is just not my thing and I'm not sure if I'll watch too much more.

Oh, who am I kidding. I may not like it a lot but I'm sure I'll still watch it. Maybe the animation will grow on me.
