The G1 Decepticons Should Be Southpaws

I noticed something on a You Tube clip. Notice the position of the Decepticons' guns (especially Scavenger and Starscream) in this still depressing clip.

In the movies, they were deadly southpaw shots. Compared this to the cartoon series where the Decepticons were not accurate shots. Notice which hand Scavenger held his gun (about 0:57).

Also noticed how Starscream holds Megatron (around 19:50) compared his grip in the movies. Dominantly right-handed, although in both cases a two-handed grip.

Apparently, the Decepticons could not shoot well until they used their sinister (left) hands.

(I know that the reason no Autobots died in the cartoon series was for censorship reasons and the various handedness of the characters were animation quirks and maybe mistakes, but this is freaky coincidence.)

How would explain Shockwave in G1? His gun-arm is on his left hand and he couldn't hit the side of a barn if he was standing next to it in the G1 cartoon.

(I'm obviously joking)

There are obvious exceptions, Megatron cannot go southpaw with his main weapon :D

I discovered bizarre animation quirk? on accident.

It makes sense that great warriors should be ambidextrous for maximum flexibility.
