When the Autobot Pretenders and Spike got transported away at the end of "Another Light", along with the three Mega Pretenders we saw the Ultra Pretender Skyhammer among them, so he might be showing up.

As for all the others that were seen back in Marvel G1 (as Classics Earth was from an offshoot of Marvel G1), if they weren't on Classics Earth back when it got sent to the Shatteredverse, then they probably all died when the Classicsverse imploded.

As for Gigatron, if he survived the ordeal of "Another Light", he's presumably alive and well on New Cybertron. But if he didn't survive "Another Light", then he might be dead. Either way, this new story will be set on an Earth in another universe, so Gigatron most likely won't be in this story anyway.

Randomus wrote:I'm thinking Starscream (minus spiky armor).
While not impossible, Classicsverse Starscream was no longer a Pretender, and since we don't know where he was when the Classicsverse blew up, he might be dead by now.

ZeroWolf wrote:As for comparisons to the movieverse, come on guys it's almost been ten years since the first one, long enough for everyone to know why it was done the way it was. That and this isn't really the place for that :P
The movieverse comparisons don't even make sense, here. This isn't the movieverse, it's the Club. They know exactly how this fandom feels about the movies and know darn well better to not make the same mistakes as the movies. If anything, a better comparison to make with this would be Masterforce, and that's a wonderful series.

But these humans ARE Autobots. Lisa's the only one seen here who isn't an Autobot (unless the old guy isn't one as well), and she's someone who's never been used in any TF fiction since a single comic issue from 1990.

Would people still object if the one pure human in this was someone like Dirk Manus or Jessica Morgan instead?

I know (admittedly, I only found out by reading comments on this thread). What I'm talking about is I wish that non-humans didn't have as large roles as they do.

But if they're ones who are good characters and also don't overshadow the TF characters, then does it really matter in that case?

I mean, most of the anti-human sentiments given here are reflected from what the movies did, but almost none of the cartoons or comics do that, so is it really that much of a issue?

Kinda funny how a lot of the complainers are known to be anti-TFCC and wont be reading this anyway, they just want to stir up crap.

I like Pretenders and Masters so I'm fine with this. I've also never really had an issue with human interaction in the franchise. I mean, half of "robots in disguise" is robots turning into things, but the other half is the humans, the phrase is meaningless without them.

I can easily see this being another G.I. Joe figure crossover thing like the last two and I don't think that's an entirely bad thing.

As for the mystery guy in the center, we are missing one announced club character that isn't on the cover: Armada Skywarp. The dark complexion, black clothes and white in his hair really gives off that vibe. Sure, he has no purple and is wearing a green shirt, but the shells rarely looked like the figure inside them.

And give us some more G1 human figures like how you did Marissa! I want a Spike and Carly, dammit!

I like a number of the human characters too, but they're mostly from Animated, Prime, and Rescue Bots. (The RiD2015 humans have thus far disappointed me, and whoever decided not to bring Raf back wasn't using their best judgment.)

I know there's no way in hell it could happen, but the human figure I'd spring for is Agent Fowler. Heck, if they decide to copy a human or two between continuities like they do for bots (including putting bots from later eras, like Bulkhead, in new G1 stuff), I think Agent Fowler would be a natural fit for the storyline described. (Bonus points if he gets another opportunity to tell Starscream where to shove it. Actually, bonus points for that in general.)

I'd love to see those humans get figures, too. Lord knows they deserve to get some good plastic representation. So G1 animated, Animated, Prime and Rescue Bots for the 3.75/4-inch figure line?

Thanks.

Is there any news on how the "All memberships will terminate with the December 2016 issue" thing effects those whose membership would end before then under normal circumstances? Will the remaining issues be thrown in, and if not, what will it cost to get them? Because I'm not inclined to pay the price of a full subscription for two magazines.

From the tumblr of artist Matt Frank, behold the Raptoricons!

Thrashclaw ("Thrash" for short, the leader), Shred (the playful youngest one), Slice (the cold brooding one), and Gnash (the unstable one).

All from the prose story "Life Finds A Way" (with Gnash and Thrash receiving profiles in Issue #70 of the TCC magazine), and all females, too!

THE RAPTORICONS
Official characters I created for the Transformers Collectors Club!
Created and illustrated by me, colored by Paul Hanley and Goncalo Lopes!

It looks to me like their transformation schemes might all be based on those of some preexisting characters/figures.

Thrash's = BW season 1 Megatron

Shred's = BW non-Transmetal Rhinox

Slice's = not sure yet

Gnash's = Classics Grimlock

Two more issues. The October/November 2016 issue (#71) and the December 2016/January 2017 issue (#72).

The TCC is celebrating the tenth anniversary of Transformers Animated a little early with an issue dedicated to the series. Including a look at some of the conceptualized characters and plot lines that would have been in Season 4. Also a new Transformers Animated comic strip written by Derrick J. Wyatt with art by Josh Perez.

Before I scrolled to the bottom of the pic and saw the Animated logo, my mind immediately went to the six-page preview comic for e-HOBBY Legends Convobat that had Megalligator wearing that helmet for one scene.

TFCC Magazine to feature a new Transformers: Animated comic and information on cancelled Season 4

Fellow Seibertronians, we have some extremely exciting news for Animated fans tonight! In very early anticipation of the tenth anniversary of Transformers Animated next year, the upcoming October/November issue of the Transformers Collectors' Club magazine is set to feature the unfortunately cancelled Season 4 in it's limelight! This feature includes a look at Character Concepts and Plot-lines that would have happened in Season 4, but most excitedly of all, the issue will feature a brand new Transformers Animated comic written by Derrick J. Wyatt - who was the art director, lead character designer, and a color stylist on the cartoon - and with art by Josh Perez, whose recent work includes IDW's Robots in Disguise/Transformers and Dark Cybertron. This news comes directly from board user TF_JW of TFCC, whose post can be seen below! Join us in the Energon Pub Forums to tell us what you think!

Oh my god you have no idea how excited I am about thiiiiiis! :D Animated was my second favourite Transformers cartoon just behind Beast Wars - and even then the two are extremely close in quality to the point I often have trouble deciding which one I like more - so the news we're getting more fiction is just so... aaaaah I'm excited hahaha

Agree 1000%! As much as I'd like to just move on and enjoy what's come after, the current RID cartoon keeps giving us all these moments where it acts like it wants to be Animated, but can't quite pull it off, making me scream, "Then why not just resurrect Animated?!? You're back on Cartoon Network in the States, the Aligned Continuity experiment has splintered, why not just do another restart that jumps back a few years?"

Please let this be the start of a regular thing! I know it can't, because the club losing their license would disrupt it anyway, but this news gives me hope...

Hopefully the season 4 info will be something in addition to what both the AllSpark Almanac II and The Complete AllSpark Almanac already show and tell us about season 4.

As for the new Animated comic, maybe another season 3.5 thing like "Moving Violations", "The Stunti-Con Job", and "The Return of Blurr" were?

I also think this is very cool. I'd love to here about the cancelled fourth season, I grew up on Animated so the idea of hearing more fiction on it is exciting.
