Unused TCC concepts for a couple of Scrounge figures. It's awesome that Hasbro are finally actually releasing their Scrounge though!

Scrounge from FoC Rumble/Frenzy? Genius, so fitting in Blaster, his only friend. And the Kreon uses the inverted Mirage helmet, right?

Yup. The Kreon's eyes would have been tampoed on the back of a Mirage helmet. The face opening (now on the back of the head) would have revealed some of Scrounge's cranium details tampoed on inner head brick.

Kreon Scrounge would work, since you could remove his hand and replace it with a brick that looked like his fingers. Speaking of Scrounge, I saw a cool custom of him using either Rid Slipstream or Jetstorm mold.

On the side, what's the percentage of the ideas that ultimately go completely unused? If an idea gets reworked (like Universe 2003 Spacewarp into Astrotrain), or is used as a basis for a different character (like Nemesis Prime into Toxitron), I'd count it as used.

It depends on the year, but there are usually quite a few of ideas that end up not making the cut. There quite actually could be a book that was nothing but unused concepts.

Including just plain wacky concepts that had no chance of proceeding further than the initial mock-up, I'd say I probably have 60-70 concepts for this year. Some are variations of each other (same character, different mold; same mold, different character) so they might no exactly fit your question though.

A whole book of unmade exclusives would be amazing.

Wow, all I can say is when it comes to brainstorming you're going all out

Scrounge seems to be one of the more normal ones, any chance we could see one of the more... wacky, humorous, or nonsensical ones next time?
