This friday, Hasbro will be unveiling the new inductees into the Transformers Hall of Fame. And you get to choose who it is. This year, Hasbro made it an easy multiple choice question for all of us. There are a few categories so choose for each.

TRANSFORMERS 2021 HALL OF FAME
Since 2010, the Transformers Hall of Fame has honored the creative minds, iconic characters, and toys spanning the Transformers franchise. In honor of the 25th anniversary of Beast Wars: Transformers, this year’s Hall of Fame fan vote categories celebrate the groundbreaking history of the Beast Era.

I don't get why the five Beast Wars characters who are already in the Hall of Fame are still up as options in this poll, it's something they seem to keep doing ever since they made the jump to static polls with limited options. Just goes to show how much thought or attention is put into the Hall of Fame these days. Though going by some of the comments on the Transformers Facebook page's post, it seems more people realise (and care about) the error than I would've thought, so that's good.
Either way, I went with Rhinox in the character option to have another Maximal in there, and Beast Megatron for the toy option, though again, it's a shame that the toy of the year option is just for Kingdom and doesn't include Studio Series, because I probably would've voted for 1986 Slag if it did.

It should probably be mentioned that Primal, Megatron, Dinobot, Blackarachnia and Waspinator are already in the Hall of Fame, but are still on the poll. Though it would be hilarious if one of them got inducted a second time.

I cast my votes for Rattrap for the character, and leader BW Megs for the toy.

So...this is different from the Google Docs poll a couple weeks ago that asked for fan votes of Favorite BW Season 1 character, and favorite Kingdom toy overall? I wonder when the results of that poll will be released?

I voted Rattrap for character and Airazor for figure, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy that figure.

Same poll, and the results are set to be revealed/released at Pulsecon this Friday.

Voted Rattrap for the character, and Leader Megatron for the Kingdom toy. That thing is just fantastic.

Beast Wars Inferno is the obvious choice here.

For toys I went with Paleotrex. He's an awesome experiment and there is SO MUCH that can be done with him, especially when you have multiples! None of the other weaponizers/fossilizers gave me this much enjoyment!

I voted Optimus Primal for OG Beast Wars, and Beast Megatron for Kingdom.

Had to be inferno for beast wars.

Kingdom toy was a much harder choice as I'm not liking any of them as much as other versions. Slammer misses out because I don't have the figure yet and the arms look a bit odd. Cyclonus was close to getting my vote but he already has some good previous figures so Core soundwave is the only figure that is an improvement overall (compared to siege or netflix) so I went with him.

ok, makes sense...sort of. I thought we were just voting for who our favorite BW S1 character was in general. Inducting any of those limited nominations into the all time Hall of Fame seems a little disingenuous, all respect to BW 25th anniversary notwithstanding. But also yes, it has the potential to be awkward especially if a character already in the Hall of Fame wins again.

In that case I already voted last week. Tigatron has always been my favorite S1 character (although he wont win). I also begrudgingly voted for CC Rodimus as Best Kingdom Toy. I still don't think it is worth a $85 CC price point, but it is very well developed, I can't argue that.

It's about time we started participating this Hall of Fame poll. It's been up since at least last Tuesday. (I submitted it as news twice)

Anyway, I'm voting Cheetor. He really grew into his own across both Beast Wars and Beast Machines, going from a reckless child to becoming one of Cybertron's legendary heroes and the Oracle's chosen successor to Optimus Primal.

For me, the likes of Rhinox and Tigatron didn't change much because they didn't need to. They were both great from start to finish. But Cheetor, he grew and evolved over the course of a personal journey that felt far more substantial and accomplished.

As for the toy vote, I gotta give it to Voyager Cyclonus. Such a fantastic figure.

Hasbro will be unveiling the new inductees into the Transformers Hall of Fame. And you get to choose who it is. This year, Hasbro made it an easy multiple choice question for all of us. There are 2 categories so choose for each. One is for the best Transformers Animated Character (while Lockdown isn't in the list he can be entered under "other") and the other is best Transformers Legacy toyline character. Voting is open from now until 11:59 PM on September 15, 2022.

Here is the form to fill out:

Funny how most of the Legacy toy options aren't even out yet.

Shame our options are so narrow this go-round.

If we could still just write in any character ever, think Rails might be a shoe-in this year?

Went with Animated Lugnut. I also enjoyed him on the show. He was very loveable and had a lot of funny moments. He was also a fan favorite that would go on to appear in other media later after his initial animated appearance. I feel like his Autobot equivalent Bulkhead will get more love however.

Favorite legacy toy? I went with Jhiaxus. We finally got an G2 accurate Jhiaxus, that isn't just a redeco or retool, after years of waiting for one, and he doesn't disappoint.

Black Zarak for Legacy. Not many figures that are better than previous figures in the line as yet even if I quite like iguanus and buying at least tarrantukus and crankcase.

Sari needs a figure (samurai pizza cat/medabots style or something) so easy vote for her to have a bit more acceptance.

The "Other" option in the Animated character poll is much appreciated, I used it to vote for Sentinel Prime. It is a shame that the Legacy toy poll only allows you to vote for one, because there are so many toys in Legacy that I love, but I decided on Elita-1.

I went with Animated Shockwave. I really liked his reinvention in the show.

As for Legacy, Jhiaxus. While I don't collect Legacy, I appreciate a G2 comic book design being granted a faithful figure all these decades later.

Both polls have some glaring omissions (Road Rocket gets named, but Cybertron Override and RiD Scourge are both reduced to write-ins?!), and the Legacy character poll is flat-out invalid and needs to be redone (which I wish I'd realized before voting on it).

Beast Wars Inferno and Megatron are already in the Hall of Fame. G1 Optimus and Megatron are already in the Hall of Fame. Knockout is already in the Hall of Fame, as is Prime Arcee thanks to Arcee's entry covering all incarnations. Their new bodies are not separate characters. They're valid for a Toy of the Year poll, but this is a character poll.

That's SIX invalid entries named while multiple characters who are valid entries have been reduced to write-ins. Hasbro needs to discard and re-do the poll. End of story. If they want their pwecious new pwoduct voted for, they should make a Toy of the Year poll (a category whoever was handed this seems to be unaware of) for it because that's where it's actually valid.

And until Hasbro replaces the bad poll with a valid one, we should remove our link.

My vote was for Sari and Metroplex. Good on Hasbro for having humans in the poll.

Glad I'm not the only one to notice this. Why should they be up for HoF when they aren't even avbailable to 99% of the world...? That's like nominating Ty Griffin- a former Chicago Cubs top prospect that crashed and burned in the minors- for Cooperstown.
