Another day, another Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast with host Scotty P being joined by Counterpunch and Rotorstorm to look at the latest in Transformers stuff. That's right, stuff! Bumblebee toys, Headmasters, model kits, the Netflix show, comic books, non-transforming figures and even videogames comprise the content in a multifaceted couple hours of nonstop Transformers talking action. Batteries are not required, unless you're listening on noise-cancelling headphones in which case they might be, only for you.

So on this episode someone made reference to "2013 legends toys with buddies that were cancelled" but I don't recall these. Maybe its been too long. Can anyone point me to an old news story to jog my memory?

Have not listened yet, butbthe first thingbthat came to my mind was the 2 packs that had Prime/ Roller, Bee and a blue Helicopter dude, Gears and Swerve as Trucks with micromasters based on Eagle Eye, a Megatron with a mini Chop Shop that attached to the front of his tank, and the first Cosmos figure in FOREVER that came with a space shuttle named Payload. The Cosmos figure would get rereleased down the road on his own

I was referring to exactly what Flashwave mentions! Thanks for the assist, I don't know how I went six days without noticing this comment.

For a little more detail, the Legends Class figures for the "Thrilling 30" Generations series were what I call "numbered" releases. Optimus Prime with Roller was 001, and they went in sequence up to Gears with Eclipse as 010. However, the next lowest numbered one is Nemesis Prime with Spinister at 018, followed by Cliffjumper with Suppressor at 019 to finish off the size class within the line. At the time of their release, there were credible rumors for other toys in this size class that were to be released which never saw the light of day, including some that would show up in Combiner Wars such as Bombshell. It's never been and likely may never be proven as fact, but it's regarded by many that there were seven additional entries here that for whatever reason just didn't happen. Alternately, Hasbro screwed up the numbering, and/or the rumor mill was just plain wrong. Hasbro screwing up the numbering wouldn't surprise me one bit, remember the special 30 numbered releases for Thrilling 30? That list is chaos and I'll let the TF Wiki entry for it explain.
