Sonic Unleashed (Wii)

Reached the ending of the game, so check off another game unfinished for years :-D

EggmanLand Day is still hard, and the missions are just evil, with one having you redo the whole thing again. The Night levels were definitely more my speed. The Egg Dragoon fight was a cakewalk, but Dark Gaia... Eh, appreciate the creators trying different things, the first part could have been done a bit better, but I do see how it was built around the Wii motion controls.

Don't know how to continue on, though. This is one Sonic game I actually want to Gold (reach 100%), but the Day levels are hard to S-rank for the Moon Medals to access to the Gaia Gate rooms, but the collectibles aren't that hard to find thankfully.

So either Gold the game, or start a new one. Thoughts?

Derusting againts the ZXA bosses after i did it in the first SF.I always do the gold medal challenges, the megamen can be fought with rapid weakshot,Siarnaq can be beaten as a human in a fight inferior to the one againts Hedgeshock(if he climbs up in the middle with you:crouch under the balls, just be ready to jump over the roll, you have to descend if there is no water and he jumps on your side).I don't see how you can consider them easy.

I just discovered that the homing shot can damage and stop the long attack of Pandora,it makes the fight funnier(Bifrost wheels againts collumn,Hedgeshock spiky roll againts sides shots).

i never fought Pegasus, the only target for the poison ink(favorised)+burst(instead of bubbles,2 Cancers and CrownEX,seeds instead of the rain against Libra who must be fought without counter or kick2 against Cancer),i heard his ice missiles can be destroyed with 10 damages but cannot confirm.

I suspect the wheel attack of Bifrost is tied to your munition gauge almost 100%,against "freeze+jump":go under him, sometime he just spam that:his own IA is frozen,so ironic.

I saw the gamplay footage for FRONTIERS and it looks boring:don't wait for a new game i suppose, you do what you want anyways.

DIOFIELD CHRONICLE...A sequel to FF REVENANT WINGS?Not exactly,it looks more similar to TACTICS or maybe its own thing.Fourteen years for a new RTS?I consider 13 as one for the fights but it's old,the sequels are worse.Timestop should be removable if the players want it,menus are faster than character deplacement,RW made the mistake longtime ago,it's more tolerable through the exterior world.
EDIT 08/28:timestop with double speed is very short, you order rapidly the same attacks, spamy but short. It really looks like RW but less créative,no flying raider,no monsters,to attack from the back comes from FFT and may be useful only againts horribly endurant bosses(not useful for FFT speedruns),i suspect that the magician woman is garbage like Penelos@#€ but you can get assistance that make no sense:"the character's existance is temporary"."A less innovativ REVENANT WINGS",skippable cutscenes at least.

A new VR rail shooter for TRANSFORMERS...It better be more intense than the two boring TPS(BATTLEGROUNDS is a turn by turn one,i forgot DEVASTATION that tries to look like a beat'em all, unfinished to the point of being forgettable),HOUSE OF THE DEAD SCARLET DAWN and TIME CRISIS 5 high scoring are the references.MM:STARFORCE is a rail shooter but the prototype is PARASITE EVE,a weird TPS i don't respect the existance of.I respect the one of BATTALION WARS 2.

Sonic Unleashed (Wii)
After some consideration, I decided to Gold (100%) Sonic Unleashed. To keep track of the items I need to find (Art, Cinematics, Music, Secret Tips) I constructed a list with their given rough locations, in order of Continents, then Stage, Mission or Gaia Gate. I'm happy to say I cleared Apotos and in the process of searching Spagonia.

Day Levels are a menace for looking, lemme tell you...

Sonic Unleashed (Wii)

S-Ranked Windmill Isle Act 1, but Act 2... The last bit is an automatic minute and a half with the Miniboss, plus I have a hard time maintaining control of Sonic's directions and rounding curves. Ugh... I did scrape enough Moon Medals to unlock two Gaia Gate doors, the last one in Apotos and the second one in Mazuri (both count as 1st Continent oddly enough). Got all items in both, including 4 Special Missions. Finished them, found all Items in all but one.

Getting a bit sidetracked it seems... which is a good thing:

Mega Man 8 (PS1, playing on PS2 Slim)
I wouldn't say this game is easy... but more accessible than some others? Anyway, all 8 Robot Masters are down, off to Wily Tower... and the nightmare that is its first level with the speed board. Slide, Jump, Jump, die! :BOOM:

Game Beaten!

OK, Wily Stage 1 was not so bad when you get the hang of it. The worst part was by far the Boss Rush with the Wily Machine right after that. *groans* Anyhow, only took Rush Charger (the equivalent of an E-Tank) to push me into beating it. For 100%... I got 27 out of 40 Bolts...

Might as well add this:

Diablo (PC)
Decided to retry this game and try a different approach from my original one (stay in the dungeon, leave everything to chance... Never got past a boss  ). Chosen the Rogue this time around. Rose to LV 6, at Level 4 of the dungeon, and unlocked two Quests: King Leoric and... Ordin's Sign of all things.
