Any figure can be done right at a retail price. I really would've liked to have seen what a Studio Series 86 Grimlock retool would've looked like. I wonder if that's why the OG SS86 hasn't gotten a reissue.

as someone who's experience with Star Saber was an absolute horror show, seeing how they chose to box and shop this, and how to cover and pack the chrome bits, really makes me feel a lot better about this. I will be glad to get my 4 eyed space chicken in hand soon (I hope)

Probably pretty dire. Not sure how they would get the wings into the price point, let alone weapons, and his partners would have to be separate Core figures.

That probably has more to do with the mold being held up by the G2 and Shattered Glass releases.

Agreed, there would have been too many sacrifices and not much to be gained other than cheaper price point.

I think it could've been done if Hasbro wanted to do it. The Titmasters as Core figures would've been ok.

Not without major compromises. Just look at the Combiner Wars release of Liokaiser, for instance. People are still clamoring for a better, more legit Liokaiser even after Hasbro already gave us that version.

Hasbro could've made Liokaiser and Deathsaurus at retail without compromises if they wanted to, they didn't to appease shareholders.

FYI, if you have the FedEx app or access to the website make an account because I saw yesterday two labels were created for Deathsaurus.

Hey, look at that. Shipping from California so that's probably going to be a long trip to get to me on the east coast unlike their usual hubs. ]

eesh, he would've need heavily retooled and probably upped to Commander to include just his wings and such, plus separate releases for his minions. Thank god they did Haslab

I guess some backers have started receiving shipping notices. I still only have the label created confirmation from FedEx. Hopefully it goes a bit more smoothly than last year. I understand they are trying to be efficient and ship from different locations. having one in California closer to me is nice, however the delivery was still delayed and took far longer than it should have. I guess that's just one of the unfortunate timings of shipping this item during holiday season. I guess as long as it arrives without incident, that's all I can hope for.

Yeah, mine are just printed labels so far. Since these are in California they're likely all being shipped directly from a warehouse on the docks since there's no reason for them to move them to their normal East Coast warehouse and therefore cutting out the middle step. Also we have to keep in mind that unlike their normal sales through the Pulse store where they'll ship out a few thousand over time and often bundled together with other things, this one warehouse is processing and shipping 27,442 individual orders at basically the same time so "delays" should be expected I would think.

Not all 27K are for North America though, that's how many orders were made world wide. Id say probably about HALF of those are for North America, and of those, there will be multiple distribution points. 13-14K units for all US, Canada, and Mexico wont be going out from El Chino California...at least I'd hope not.

People are starting to get theirs in hand. In the Facebook group Transformers Botposting, someone in Oregon received theirs today. Meanwhile I still don't even have a shipping label for my 3. I'm not in any rush per se but it is curious.

Ive seen some information online that apparently the GI Joe classified HISS tank is shipping as well. It's probably insanely busy shipping 2 Haslabs at the same time, but getting all that revenue before end of year is definitely going to look good on their earnings for Q4 2023.

Boom, got my shipping notices tonight! Wont be arriving until next Friday because it has to go from the west coast to the furthest north east coast line...

That would have been 2022 revenue, they already collected the money for both of them when the campaigns completed.
