Decided to share this photo photo of Overload combined with OP’s trailer (robot mode). Not quite the most appealing look but it can be done. In the photo for comparison i have him alongside OP and Jetfire in their combined mode. I took this photo rather quickly and had forgot to mount Jetfire’s shield to OPs chest. Not that it matters but for those who may notice that missing, I’m tracking that.

Honestly, Overload doesn't look too bad with his new armed cargo pants.

Overload being a top of a combiner is really funny to see, interesting for sure!

Armada Ultra Magnus might look a little better since he has blue color. Its a different look for sure or as @ZeldaTheSwordsman said "nice cargo pants".

I just ordered something really cool and rare off Mandarake for quite a bit less than its normal going price that I've wanted for a long time now. Though, it's a storefront item so it's entirely possible it won't be available, hopefully I'll know in a day or two if I was successful.

I was successful! Got me a Galaxy Force Sonic Convoy complete in opened box (figures are still tied to the inner plastic, not loose) for only 32,000JPY or about $260. Got a little screwed on shipping, the listing estimated shipping at 4,900JPY ($40), but I guess I should have looked at other ones they had already sold that had shipping estimated at 9,800JPY ($80) as it actually came out to 10,500JPY ($86). But to be fair I also picked up a used Titans Return Rumble for 1,200JPY ($9.80) and that alone had a shipping estimate of around $20 so I still feel like I came out ahead. Shame PayPal's conversion rate isn't all that fair so the total came to $374.59 instead of $357.09.

But yeah, usually Sonic Convoy goes for $450 to $500 plus shipping (the only one to sell on eBay was priced at $900 plus $25 shipping but sold for best offer, one sold on Robot Kingdom for $500) so I still came out well ahead and have a TR Rumble which goes for around $25 included. And yeah, I realize I'm getting two Rumbles in the same package from very different times. Should be here mid next week!

I knew it.
I knew it was gonna be the Sonic Convoy giftset.

Congrats, you lucky SOB! You have my envy, especially for the smallest yet most-significant member of that set.

@Emerje, wow what a deal for sure. The Galaxy Force line is a line I haven’t yet dipped into. I do like some of the different paint looks compared to the US versions of select characters. While some of the changes are subtle on some, they do look a bit better.

Again, great find for the price, looking forward to seeing some photos once you get him in hand.

Managed to reacquire an old favourite of mine, Energon Ravage! He's perhaps not the most poseable but he looks fantastic, also he goes great with my Cybertron Soundwave as a buddy. Interestingly, he has the Decepticon insignia on his shoulder dome, which my original didn't.

Not quite- that's the Takara version with the more emerald-green weapons. There was a running change to give Ravage the insignia on his shoulder with the Hasbro version from what I understand. This definitely is the Hasbro version, as he came with his cardback!

I wasn’t for sure but assuming you would have mentioned it being the Takara version, thats why i asked. From reading your post i actually went and looked at my Battle Ravage. Unfortunately mine doesn’t have the Decepticon logo on the left shoulder. So being curious, from what i read it looks like the version you have was released toward the end of the line. Thats cool you have that variant and now i am thinking i need to find that version myself.

Man, congratulations on that! Sounds awesome!

UT was the line that got me into getting multiples of the same mold/figure, starting with pairs of terrorcons, however the insistence of only guaranteeing getting myself a pair got me to miss out on Cruellock when it first came out.



On a side note, YOTS OS pairs real well with multiple Signal Flares.

The UT line does give you the ability to troop build for sure. BTW love the look of YOTS OS with the Signal Flares, nice!

He he... That reminds me, IIRC Skyblast did not get a redeco until TFTM, but I wasn't fond of the woodland digicamo for Air Raid, and went for TFTM Skyblast, with the suspiciously similar palette of brown and white from Macrosss' Mass Production Type VF-1A.

A couple more multiples I have(I've posted my multiple Leobreaker and Armada Sideswipe elsewhere)



I also used to own TFU BiaB Ultra Magnus, but it fell apart so I scrapped it to mod my Nemesis Prime.

I only have one of the Vector Prime mold but that Galaxy Force version is sweet but still a nice trio for sure. I definitely love the trio of Tidal waves, which I have all three as well. Just something about him that is so cool.

Lol, yep the full run.

I already have that Movie version but got a second one for a good price and complete, so that i would have them all on hand for a photo shoot. 90% of my collection is packed away for now, without easy access, so these will do for now. Down the line, when storage gets emptied out, i will have the dupes to work with.

That Vector Prime mold is an amazing one. I kind of started in reverse with the repaints. Got the Universe 2.0 from Jump and worked my way backwards. Only missing Hasbro GF VP with the mustard deco to complete them all. Hard to find complete with instructions for a reasonable price, at least IMHO.

Only 1 Tidal Wave myself but that picture above has the gears turning, lol...

Who knows, i may try to snag a GF VP down the road. Unfortunately, i don’t personally have a current photo of my Tidal Waves together. They are currently displayed according to series in my cases. May have to break them out for a photo op.

With Signal Flare/Offshoot and even Sky Blast, i just stuck with what was released within the Energon line both US and Takara. Again, they are great looking in numbers if you have the space.

BTW @triKlops, i know what it is like having the collection packed up. Not sure how long your stuf will be in storage but hopefully not too long so that you can enjoy all of your collection.

Yeah, it gave me the urge to check up on that Micron Legends Shockwave, it's the only version I never got. He's NOT cheap.

Thanks SGM; it has been over year and half now; probably another year before they come back out.
But when they do, if my living plan works out, the dedicated room will be insane.

They look great together but the price jump in the last 2 years has been pretty insane, all-around. Definitely keep my eye on things though, as i kind of want the Takara Shockwave Armada deco due to the Titan Returns deco for him. They all look amazing but it makes me want whale IDW Wreckers version even more now, lol.
