The cool thing about these us that the parts forming is optional. They convert from robot to vehicle without parts forming.

The release isn't widespread yet. Still nothing shipping from US retailers yet, for instance.

So, catching up on the past 2 weeks or so...

Animated Prowl looks surprisingly good to me. i wish the face and thighs were leaner for a more Animated look, but he does look the part. I like him, and will get him. He is far better than the 3 2022 Prime Legacy figures, itself a sad fact. Why must you butcher the toys for the cartoons I loved most Mr hasbro?

The bike Junkion looks really cool, I like how the junkions are coming together. Love how unique and interesting the robot mode is too. I like it a lot.

prime Skyquake continues to look very good, I like how this one was done, they were much more successful with this one than the first 3 Prime figures.

Lady nemesis sounds wonderful, I cannot wait to pit her against Iaconus.

Armada Prime sounds great.

Commander Ultra Magnus is groanworthy levels of unnecessary.

As for some newer figures, Skullgrin is not perfect, and I would say is inferior to the older generations toy, but is still fun and can throw some good shapes.

Starscream took Victory Saber's blast effects, and rocks them far better than he did.

Minerva adds some nice additional presence to the current Victory gang on my shelf (and not in moving totes), but putting her with VS made me realize, VS and Minerva just aren't that good. I was excited for both, and they have both been pretty mediocre. It's sad that Galaxy Shuttle ended up being the superior Victory toy for me this year.

Thank you. That's why i love having a spot at work for figures, so they can stretch themselves out and see what they can do

Hmm Interesting I just got a notice from Amazon that the estimated delivery date of one of the Legacy Evolution Core Dinobots (Slug) has been bumped up to next week (1/4/23) from March 4th originally...No update on my other wave 1 pre-orders...

Deep Discount and Movies Unlimited have Sludge in stock already. New year, same as the old one.

Good! Finally going to get my Nemesis. I wish they skipped the stupid Cybertron Metroplex & released the Nemesis right after the Ark. I finally have something Transformers related to look forward to along with Snarl & Swoop. I haven't really been interested in anything since Earthrise ended.

I'm still waiting for SS Skywarp from the Bumblebee movie. What's taking so long?

To be fair, hasbro have always released rivals in gaps. Look at the time between Metroplex and Trypticon, or Fortress and Scorponok or Devy and Omega Supreme.

Not to say all rivals will be Titan class sized as Predaking's rival was released in Commander Class

If we say that Predaking's rival is Raiden ( as seen in the Headmasters TV series). Instead of Skylinx, then it can truly be said that every Titan had their rival released (or begin to) 4 years apart. The only exception being Raiden as an MP instead of Generations. And of course The Ark and Nemesis being only 2 years apart.

Does that mean we will get a CC Cybertron Menasor in 2026? Who knows :???:

Since the classes have been redefined according to detail vs physical size of character in fiction, that opens up a lot more slots for future CC toys.

Since a CC SS86 Magnus is coming, it seems logical that soon after a SS86 Optimus Prime CC may follow. It's not necessary for me, but seems almost inevitable since Kingdom Rodimus.

Ss86 commander Prime is a certainty. Crazy how when it will be released it will be only fractionally cheaper than when Walmart got the MP10 release

I don't think Hasbro count Headmasters in this case ;)

Deluxe class figures for 12.99? Heck yeah!
Walgreens is currently clearencing out there Christmas Toys at 50% off. Can confirm this at multiple stores. One of them in North Vernon IN is including both Kingdom Red Alert and Legacy Minerva, meaning 2 Deluxes for the price of one.

One note: when I purchased mine Minerva rang up as Sale:17.99 so this may not be intentional, and Red didn't ring up at all, but the store clerk caught the error before I said anything. If you are still looking for Minerva or been on the fence on Red, now might be a fantastic time to go hunting.

Walmart, why?

They have Deluxe figures on the shelf so they're balancing Legacy Leaders on the pegs. Doesn't even have a hanger, it's just crammed in there.

I remember after a reset earlier this year, Walmart was hanging all Leaders on pegs. I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now.

By the way, I think there was some chatter earlier about not seeing Jhiaxus on shelves. In the Northeast Georgia area I've run across him a decent number of times since October or so (and a couple Soundwaves). But I had gotten him from Amazon over the summer. Wave 2 (?) Core figures pop up now and again. I think I've seen one each of Shockwave and G2 Megatron, the latter of which I bought at the time and I believe I mentioned it here. I've seen two or three Blitzwings in total.

Still zilch for deluxes past wave 1. If those start showing up at Ross or Marshalls I might get some there. I've only nabbed Skids, Tarantulas, and the Stunticons thus far. Minerva will be bought if I ever find her. Still not sure about Crankcase. I finally found a way to justify Pointblank if I see one: I can start a collection of Autobot Targetmasters with Siege Crosshairs, who now has a spot in my collection since Siege Ironhide has been usurped by the SS. (and I guess I could track down a T30 Scoop) It's a solid mold so having a figure still use it will be nice, and I can eat my cake with the screen accurate ironhide.

Will this just be the ER "voyager" but with a proper trailer that have Roller, the command center, diaclone consoles, weapon racks, trailer "legs", proper mud-guards, and a longer trailer overall?

Or beside that "real" trailer, will we get a completely new mold for Optimus? Maybe they could take a clue from the KO companies and just release an undersized MP-10? :-?

If it's going to be a retool of the Ultra Magnus, I think it'll be the next version of Powermaster Prime. Otherwise they have to make a completely new trailer, even if they just reuse the base Prime figure. I think if there will be a Legacy PM Prime, Hasbro should take the already released Prime version of Kingdom Magnus and just give him a retooled Magnus trailer.

SS86 Optimus Prime CANNOT ever be "Powermaster Prime". That would be either a Select release, or a Legacy one. So that's why I call for a "downsized MP-10".

I still don't think they'll do a white prime for an animation accurate Ultra Magnus. I really do think they'll just do a Combiner Wars/Masterpiece Ultra Magnus and have the cab directly transform to Magnus.

Will I be proved wrong? Probably asylum predictions often do the reverse of what I say.

Right. I really meant to say the engineering will be very similar, the figures obviously won't be the same. My bad.

I'll say what I said before when it was first leaked: An Ultra Magnus that skips the "white Prime" doesn't need to be a Commander class. A smaller SS86 version of Combiner Wars UM in the movie style (and without a "Micromaster") would fit perfectly fine as a Leader class SS86 figure. To fit the the Commander Class price it has to include a "white Prime". The catch is that they can make it possible to change him from truck to full bot without having to change the cab and it would still be screen accurate.

I'll go one further.

A Studio Series Ultra Magnus should explicitly not include a White Prime

But of course screen accuracy only matters when it's convenient

This^

I get what you're saying Emerje but I would like to see a white prime less option. We'll just have to see what the designers are cooking up.

I agree. I just don’t see a Commander Class Magnus with all that it entails, not having a white Prime inside.
There’s just to much budget there to use up, that a Magnus without a Prime simply does mot need.

It also gives them a new Prime to release later in SS-86 with a larger trailer and all his accessories also at commander class.

Here, I'll toss my two cents on the pile and say having owned Siege Magnus since he came out, wanna guess how many times I've used the inner White Prime as its own figure?

Maybe once, and I did it just to check it out since I bypass it completely for every transformation

Of course I'm sure some people are thrilled to have the inner robot, but for them to retread that again on a new release of a new engineered figure seems silly for sure

Well if you want to drag that mold into the discussion, maybe Kingdom Magnus is more appropriate. The Siege version, while having a white Prime, homages the RID version which was not a white Prime inside an armor. It was really Kingdom that had it, but the retool used in Siege made it unavoidable to have a white Prime inside. But I suppose it's splitting hairs, since both Kingdom and Siege are versions of the same mold.

Agreed. I think the "white Prime" aspect was properly served with Kingdom Magnus, if there will be another, especially in SS86, it should be all 1 bot.
