I think I saw a digibash somewhere of that mold being used for rescue bots Heatwave

I'm just gonna hold out to see if breakdown gets his own mold at some point, I'm not super attached to the character to care how long it takes (if it happens at all)

He'd make a good G1-ified AOE/TLK Hound I think.

The "Amazon exclusive" Wrecker camo version with the General Optimus Prime reprolabels set seal the deal.

Look at all those iconic hammers!

Ordered both. I forgot Windsweeper had ears, the comics have been cutting them off since the 80s, for a moment I thought they were using a head intended for Leozack or something. So glad we're not getting Knockout.

Lmao same here!

When Ransack was revealed he threw a tantrum about it being a repaint and not a new mold even though it looked great. He's probably crying into his pillow over these too, nothing made that kid happy. At least he'll have Venom.

Something I’m just noticing- It appears Breakdown, Wind Sweeper, and that Smashdown redeco have symbols of the Primes on them. Seems like the beginning of the release of the 13, and whatever theme may accompany them?

PotP redo here we go :-?

While I'm glad the Insecticons are finally on the way for those who wanted them, I'm only interested in Windsweeper. Hopefully there will be enough people who get the set just for Breakdown, which to me holds no interest whatsoever. That mold itself has been a big swing and a miss so far for both Bulkhead and now Breakdown.

I'm still looking forward to both Ruckus and Bludgeon, hopefully they'll be done well.

Breakdown's symbol is the IDW2019 Mayhem symbol from the Wreckers comic, not a Prime. Not sure on Windsweeper (didn't look too hard). The hammer is definitely meant to be a solus prime hammer though

They both have the same symbol. It's weird looking in all red, like a Planet X Cyber Key with tentacles.

Somehow this isn't on TFWiki's list of symbols.

And since we now know they're going with the IDW lineup, they really need to give us a Skyquake repapaint already!

It's coming. A good enough quality scannable pic of it hasn't been found yet.

That face/headsculpt & the rest of the figure clash badly.
Windsweeper in Needlenose's colors would just be Needlenose. They made Windsweeper from the Needlenose mold.

Placed a pre-order for both sets. The Deluxe Insecticons do look exactly how I expected, and it's pretty cool. Really helps make em pop, and I'm gonna be very happy displaying these guys with the other Insecticons. Just need Venom now to complete the squad...

I also am glad to have a new Windsweeper, though I will admit it is funny they used the Needlenose mold because they had to give him new Targetmaster buddies heh. Not that I mind at all of course, though it is funny personally considering I had the old Subscription Service figures and those used different molds. I do think this mold looks more like Windsweeper's old form than that figure, though.
I also think Breakdown looks awesome, I was honestly hoping we'd get Clench out of the Bulkhead mold, though seeing as the camo-redeco had Breakdown's hammer, it was inevitable heh. Either way I think the colour scheme looks killer, gonna be happy having a big beefy bot in my collection. ;)^

Clench deserves a rocking new toy, so while I am glad he didn't get the Bulkhead mold, I really do want one!

Oh I'd love to have a brand spanking new mold for him! Just kinda figured it's the best he'll probably get due to being a fairly obscure G2 guy heh. But hey, still not really complaining with what we got.

He has a badass enough design and truck mode that I pray for a new mold for him!

I join your prayers - I always thought his design was awesome. I have the BotCon figure of him released a while back...and while cool in its own right, I would so very much love a new figure based off of his original self rather than a basic head swap + new paint job heh!

The Predators are a favorite group of mine, it's why I am so into the TFcon Fans Hobby exclusives, after next weekend 3 of the 6 will be done!

I long for them to show up in the mainline.

Yeah! It'd be so hype, hopefully HasTak are able to deliver... I mean hey, at the very least Clench appeared in the recent comics, I'm sure he'd sell well in the mainline! Plus who doesn't love a big Decepticon baddie anyway?

I'm not that much of an obscure Transformers collector, I like the characters that are in the cartoons. Not comics or some japanese exclusive sigar store version.

So, only thing that even catches my eye is Breakdown. Great Swat Team colors, it would be a nice pickup for a reduced Voyager price like 25 euro's (27 usd) but as a 2 pack exclusive, premium, special edition, platinum, collector's edition, gold label, patinum, elitist exclusive for 60 euro's + hell to the nope.

Never thought I'd see the day when the Deluxe Insecticons would receive an official release? Now, akin to the Dinobots. Time for that Six-Bot Insecticon Gestalt next!

Well first, I meant using those colors, and more specifically just more of a Decepticon-ish palette rather than one that’s a Chromedome, Roadbuster, warmer, earth tone type. I didn’t literally mean the exact same deco.
The head and face sculpt are obvsly much different that Needlenose’s., which I personally like better.

I am very happy and even impressed with the new Insecticons. I always liked the originals (although only was able to play with them because a close childhood friend had about every TF made), but these updated versions look ever better than I expected.
I’m not claiming everyone should share this opinion by any means, but outside of the main three Insecticons, it’s been a while since there’s been any figures of Decepticon characters that I’ve wanted to purchase. So I appreciate Chop Shop & Barrage even more.
Not to mention, this probably is adding to my excitement for next year’s Constructicons, Megatron, & Swindle.

Well there's 7 members. I do think it would have been cool during PotP but now that Hasbro is going for super accurate depictions ( whether from toy or animation) I doubt we'll ever get something like an Insecticon combiner.

I mean hey, we're getting those new Rock Lord Infernac bots as newcomers, I don't think it's implausible for something really new like that. But I do agree the toy & toon accuracy means they'll probably be new faces as well.
