While I am loving how he looks.... They did not fix the one thing I really did not like about the original.

The stupidly short forearms.

I hated how those looked then, and they didn't fix it! There had to have been a way to actually set his elbow higher!

Otherwise, he looks great! Just, argh, the arms

Great reuse of the Hot Rod mold. This guy will look great next to his Siege counterpart, can show off both the looks he had in Cybertron.

I think I’m going to start getting excited for a potential Cybertron Megatron. Starting to realize how much I need an updated version of that fig (and a full size Energon Megatron…. And their respective Galvatron repaints)

What? No, this is a new mold. Hot Rod is a Voyager, this is a Deluxe.

It's not a re-use of anything. It's a completely new mold.

It looks really good overall. As many have said the elbows are bit of an issue, but I have a feeling they'll be less awkward in person.

Now, give me an Exillion Red repaint that is not a BS uber-limited exclusive and I'll be happy.

Heck I'll take an Excellion, Breakaway and Goldbug too.

I have *no* idea why I assumed he was a retool, my mind may have jumped to some baseless rumor from months ago.

That being said, I also would love an Excillion recolor like others have said, as well as an another SG Goldbug. (Bayverse Breakaway?)

First carbot to look good in car mode for a while, still has some issues but does look nice. Nothing in my collection for him to go with though so I'll be passing on him.

Definitely pre-ordering this when it shows up.
So are we expecting Hot Shot to be officially announced tomorrow in the Fan Stream?

Would not be a Fan Stream if they don't announce things that have been leaked immediately before the stream.

A shame that Override never came with a little Cyber Key.

At least she did get the luxury of being backwards-compatible with the original keys. With these new ones with Cannonball, Starscream, and Hot Shot being so much smaller, the same can't be said for them.

Oh?
That's a feature I wasn't aware of.

Yeah, her gun has a nonfunctional slot that an old Cyber Key can fit into, like on her original toy but without the automatic spring-loaded function of the gimmick.

This figure is exactly what Legacy should be. Remakes of older figures with modern day engineering and poseability (I guess that is Generations in general...). Unlike figures that are absolute fails in representing their source character (looking at you "Prime Universe" Bulkhead and Breakdown and a few others), this figure just removes the Cyber key gimmick (but keeps the Cyber key for fun anyway), while still capturing the character. Now I kinda wish they would remake the Cybertron Optimus Prime from a few years ago with some remolded parts to give him a spot to plug in a Cyber key (Metroplex getting a remake with remolded parts to plug a Cyber key in is highly unlikely). So far, the Cybertron remakes have been absolute fire (including Cannonball, though he uses a weak mold as a base). Makes me wish for some of the characters from some of the other planets would get figures (We have Speed and Gigantion [sorts]), gimme a Thunderblast, Scourge, and Menasor!

Just saw photos of Vector Prime…
I think that’s a good use of the Jhiaxus mold. Not sure I’ll buy this one, but I’m open to it.
Looks really pretty good.

Just saw the pics on instagram
I'm wondering if they'll do a new mold or just a PR when this character comes out in the 13 primes line but I think this looks good. More retooling than I wouldve expected so it looks nice

Definitely was not expecting Vector Prime out of Jhiaxus, and honestly, it’s kinda bad.

It’s not even remotely close to what he should be.

I guess they used up all excellent design budget with Starscream and Hot Shot.

Saves me $40 bucks. Easy pass.

First Look at Legacy United Infernac Universe Nucleous

Another day, another leak! This time from the Transformers Botposting group on Facebook, we have our first look at Infernac Universe Nucleous!

It's easy to see that this upcoming figure is a partial retool and total recolor of the previously released Infernac Universe Magneous, now in a white and gold color scheme, transforming into a rocky muscle car style vehicle; very reminiscent of the retool of Scraphook into Axlegrease.

Following hot on the heels of the reveal of Infernac Universe Nucleous, we now have our first look at an upcoming Voyager Class figure, Vector Prime, from the Cybertron Universe! He looks to be a decent retool of Legacy G2 Jhiaxus (particularly the legs).

Those of you who are Cybertron fans, what's your take on this figure? Is it a decent enough retool from the original use of the mold? Were you going for something different? Let us know your thoughts below!
