Our friends over at ReproLabels have been kind enough to forward the latest additions to the sticker sheet family of theirs. Here's what they had to share:

Happy new year!

Three new repro labels sets this month:

The Ultra Magnus set is ugly.

But the Ironhide set was nice.

I'm conflicted.

...umm, I just painted Snarl's club. Stickers seem a little unneccessary there. Any chance they'll release a sticker to cover the gaping hole in Grimlock's Dino-mde chest? :-P

the fan who wanted the sticker his magnus set better be stisfied with what he gets if not thats the best hes getting for it al said it would be intersting to see what they do with the set but wow it makes the set undesariable to get if it came like that reolables not my thing.

i had a feeling city commander set reolables would bad once it was mentioned but man didnt think it would be that bad only thing i like about that set is the face plate for magnus without armor and the shoulders for amor magnus with the symbols on his shoulders.

they do great work but i dont use stickers on my figures no matter how worse they look without them to some poeple.

So we need to buy stickers to make modern toys look like their cartoon versions now...

Original sketches of MP SS designs had pics of the coronation set which was then sold by a separate company.

All this makes me wonder if these fringe companies are subsidiaries of Hasbro...

I've been disappointed with a lot of the recent releases from Reprolabels. Most seem to either be attempts to turn a modern toy into a vintage one (labels designed to replicate G1 styling), or labels to create overwhelming vehicle mode detail. Most of their Alternator sets were like this - extensive detail for the car, nothing for the robot within.

I *do* rather like most of the animated sets they've released, since they go about adding the details that Hasbro decided to leave off. I'm also interested in their 'custom' seeker wing-stripe sets, since even a little bit of new color can often make a figure look totally unique.

Here's to hoping that Reprolabels will give us some more simple, tasteful sets in the year to come... without just 'ricing up' our toys. :)

Yeah I'm gonna just order a sheet of Autobot insignias...I don't think the city commander set adds anything needed to the figure (it looks awesome just as it is, aside from no Autobot logos)...

And the Ironset set is kinda boring and it doesn't help the toy not suck anyway...

Hah, funny, I just ordered a set of autobot symbols on clear background for exactly the same reason.

I picked up the Animated Dinobots set too, I can paint most of the black details myself but matching the gold is a bugger!
