uglier than the final design, but the differences here seem to mesh more with the style of the other bayformers. anyone else think maybe this is the design bay wanted to use, and he got forced into modifying it to carry a little bit of prime's iconic look? considering that prime is the only character to even remotely resemble his former self (since, as we all know, only one character in a series can possibly be iconic, and that's always the main hero; they can feel free to turn the rest into generic robot monsters), i wouldn't be at all surprised if that was an issue bay was overruled in.

I'm kinda wishing the title of the movie and the characters names get changed. Then they can use that old ugly Optimus Head and no one will care because it won't be a Transformers movie anyway.

Maybe if Bay's Transformers fails they'll just start over like they did with "Batman Begines" after George Clooney scewed up the old story line in "Batman and Robin". (Batman, Batman, Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman and Robin all follow the same story line. Batman Begines isn't tied in with the other movies, it starts a new story line.)
