Being that it's unlikely the authorities will allow movie theaters to be fully open and still crying COVID, I doubt we'll get anything that looks particularly good as they will likely consider this for streaming services.

Sounds pretty terrible. Not as terrible as the last on Bay did, but terrible.

There IS no continuity in the Bayverse.

I think it was strongly hinted but here's the odd thing, the next film will be the reboot technically anyway because Bumblebee still works as a prequel to the 07 film, thus if the next film contains the contradictions then that will be the reboot, the one that can't be folded into the other films...if that makes sense :-? I do wish it was a complete clean slate mind, with nothing from Bumblebee carrying forward but we'll see out it turns out anyway.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. :D

I'd also prefer a complete reboot, but we'll see how it plays out. I'm kinda surprised they haven't just declared Bumblebee as a reboot already.

No problem! :)

If they had said Bumblebee was a reboot then they would have had it a little easier but they kept a foot on both sides

Latest Production Weekly Includes Listing For Transformers Beast Alliance

Greetings Seibertronians! We've got some movie news here that seems to confirm some of what was rumoured earlier by The Illuminerdi.

The news concerns Production Weekly, an film industry magazine that lists all the productions that are looking for cast and crew, giving then the number to reach out to. As you would expect, the list of productions featured is long but one name stands out from the others.

Transformers Beast Alliance.

This confirms that at least as far as the working title goes, Beast Alliance is the next Transformers movie. Being this early though, the name is not set in stone and may well end up changing before released to the general public.

This means what The Illuminerdi posted is right in one sense, meaning the other information they shared may equally be right on the money. Time will tell on that information mind.

The other thing to note that with its incursion here that Production will be starting to ramp up, so expect more news on this project soon.

Does the working name inspire you? Or does it fill you with dread at what Paramount and Hasbro are cooking up?

Shout out in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

I imagine that will be like the early Beast Wars toy bios, where they mention the conflict happening on modern day Earth.Between this,Cyberverse and WFC Kingdom,it seens Hasbro is making a move towards brand sinergy.

Considering that we heard both a Bumblebee sequel and Beast Wars movie were being considered, it seems like they might have been TLK’d and all smashed into one movie. That didn’t work out for TLK, but I guess we’ll see how this pans out.

I wouldn’t say I’m super excited for it, but I’ll definitely watch it. If it’s bad, oh well, I’ll still have a bunch of great Transformers movies to rewatch!

"Soccer Mom Madam?" Is that being produced by Pornhub?

Anyway, I'm not optimistic. For the Transformers or Star Trek.

It's not a movie. It's the next TV show featuring Captain Pike's crew aboard the Enterprise before Kirk became its captain.

It looks like its going back to a serial kind of show, which h is good. Hopefully it can be more light hearted then Discovery and Picard.

That's the idea, yes. "Hopeful optimism and episodic storytelling, but with ongoing character development" were the big points of the series' announcement. :D

So I guess we'll be seeing beasts before a dedicated beast movie? From Hasbro's perspective that would make a lot of sense, since the beast era is still relatively unproven with modern audiences. That's why the rumor a little while ago of a planned beast trilogy didn't seem believable to me, there's no way they would take that much risk with the beasts at this point. Mixing the beasts in with something more familiar could allow them to test the waters, but it could also lead to some... interesting results.

On a side note, I wonder if "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" is the planned Edge of Tomorrow sequel?

When you think about it, every TF movie so far has had at least one beast Transformers it, already.

Didn't they already do something with Captain Pike, previously? :-?

Strange New Worlds is a spinoff of Discovery, picking up where Pike's crew left off at the end of Discovery Season 2, focusing on the Enterprise during that point in time after Discovery left for the far future.

Well, it's not like much could have been done during the pandemic.
