that 2 pack is everywhere, not just TRU. i think the common consensus on those is that they're not worth the current price but if it hits clearance, it'll be worthwhile. i can't believe that they had both those 2 packs at the same price point.

magnus/skywarp vs mini-prime/megatron

hmm :-?

I still love the Prime/Megatron figures. The DVD was crap, though. Armada/Energon/Cybertron clip show? Pass.

Yes, the DVD is dumb. The figures grew on me though.

I really liked the Prime from that two pack.. good robot mode... the megatron is alright.. I would have liked hime better if he'd been gray or brown maybe.. the green just didn't look all that great.

I don't mind the G2 style Megatron, I don't love him by any means either though. The Optimus Prime from the set I really dislike especially when compared to the Voyager one.

I don't care for that spinning claw arm thing. That and Cybertron Quickmix have to be the epitome of Frankenstein-armed Transformers. The Prime is pretty good, and in general I don't care for Prime or the figures he inspires.

I signed up for the Transformers Collector's Club this morning and I ordered Skyfall (2005 Exclusive) and Landquake (2006 Exclusive).

Anyone else here a member of the Transformers Collector's Club?

I've been since the beginning. I was even a member of OTFCC, before they went the way of the Dodo.

Waiting for my Astrotrain, and Airrazor to come...February now... :?

I got Airrazor on eBay from a guy in China, and I love it. Not a memeber of the club but have been thinking about it.....Astrotrain is very cool as well. But as far as Airrazor is concerned, I love the E-Slugslinger mold, so I wet my pants when I saw Airrazor.

Yeah. I went to Toys R Us in Okemos today and they didn't have anything (per usual) so I snagged it online for a few bucks cheaper anyway.

Target in Okemos has pretty much nothing as well. I die a little inside everytime I go out and come home without a Ramjet or CJ.

One can do without CJ, it's Ramjet you really want!

Good luck, I hope you find one soon.

Yeah, it's only for new users. I read though the TOA to make sure there were no hidden charges. It's a free service (ala PayPal) and buyers are not charged anything.

...unless your financial institution or credit card wants to charge extra for the service.

I did it anyway, and have two SoundBlastwaves on the way...

I haven't ever had a problem like that with the credit union I use but I'll have to keep an eye out for that.

I doubt there would be any fee if you have done similar things with your account before. I doubt a credit card would charge a fee unless there was conversion involved of some sort... :-?

well, I just placed an order for one through google checkout.. I only ended up saving about 4 bucks.. :) I've never been charged sales tax on an online order before... oh well. at least I'll get one now. and I'll save more money in not driving to westland TRU 3 times this week looking for a soundwave. Online shopping is so evil!!!

they have to charge you sales tax if they have a location in the state. TRU being nationwide pretty much charge sales tax to everyone.

we're pretty lucky we don't have an amazon branch here, but the people in kentucky get hosed every time with tax.

I'm just glad we don't have a BigBadToyStore in michigan

actually, wouldn't it be so cool if they had retail chains? and they were in Canton?

That would be cool if they were a chain. I would love a place to go shopping for toys that's ran by people who love toys.

I ordered from bbts tons of times, never had a problem. I just wish can I find a blue version of MP3 Soundwave somewhere else besides the fan to fan website.

Oh my old posts are gone, resigned as DepecheBunny, lost that with all other newbies, and then I got my old account back, which I'm very happy with.

I hear good things about Fan2Fan, I was thinking about blue soundwave through them also.
