I guess one of the leakers acquiesced, because not 5 minutes later, someone turned around and posted them on 4chan saying something along the lines of "screw this secret frat bullcrap. This is what you get." Meaning some jagoff leaked the images knowing it would get someone fired, all because he was jealous about not initially getting to see early pictures of toys.

Full disclosure: This guy broke the rules and deserved to get fired. But it was really petty of the 4chan poster to share the images knowing what would happen.

Well, there's your problem!

In all seriousness, though, I'm pleased with what we're seeing in these "controversial" leaks. Warpath looks very promising and now has me hoping for a new Deluxe Class Powerglide to match this new animation accurate scale. The fact that we're getting Deluxes of Huffer and Pipes too makes me hopeful. I think we're good with the other Minibots as is, though I'd appreciate a slightly more G1 accurate Gears and Swerve at the new "Core" size class at some point. I think we'd really be set then with scale and G1 fidelity for the Minibots.

Cheetor looks pretty damn good, and I don't understand at all what isn't to like about the robot mode. It looks pretty "spot on" to me. [rimshot] Same goes for Blackarachnia. It is a bit of a shame that "Brand Unification" has put an end to the era of Takara's alternate paint jobs, which would have surely corrected some of the missing or incorrect details on these new Beast Wars figures, like Rattrap's missing gold highlights on his shoulders and plain gray lower legs, or Blackarachnia's black instead of yellow spider legs, but the fact that these molds look so on model otherwise more than makes up for that. Maybe, sometime in the future, some of these will get reissued anyway with "premium" paint jobs to make them even more accurate to their screen appearances? I can only hope.

The Netflix repaints need SOMETHING to do other than potentially horrifying battle damage

Yuck! Can you imagine the beast modes being splashed with red paint splotches and gashes for "battle damage?" No thanks! I hope any of the Beast Wars repeats in the Netflix line are instead painted to be more animation accurate (to the original Beast Wars show). Do we know of anyone else besides Deluxe Cheetor who is slated to show up in both the Kingdom and the Netflix line right now?

I'm just waiting till we see all of the fossilizers. Dinosaurs are cool, but skeletal dinosaurs that split into armor? Awesome!

Shame that Needlenose seems to have gotten the shaft despite Tracks being in the line. I don't even care about the guy, but it's just sad that he lost two fan votes in a row and then has to watch as his partner from the first one gets in Kingdom and one of the guys from the second one gets released in SS 86.

SS has Hot Rod and Kingdom supposedly has Rodimus, if that counts, but otherwise no.

At this rate though, It's probably only a matter of time until someone leaks them, So there's that. ;)

 Seriously though, They look pretty good.
They're (Warpath, At least) definitely mistransformed, And may not be the final product, So they may sort out some of the paint apps others have noted. All in all I'm pleased with them. Cheetor (may be least mistransformed of the lot) looks particularly good to me. Really though, I think I'll wait for better pictures to pass judgement, But I'm hopeful. :PREDACON:

All three of these look fantastic, I haven't been this excited for a new toyline since early Studio Series. I don't mind that Cheetor doesn't have his intestine gun, that was one aspect of the original design I was never keen on anyway, but this new figure looks to be a huge improvement over the Universe 2.0 version, which is the main thing I was hoping for. I also like that the beast mode is a semi-realistic looking cheetah and not that bug-eyed monstrosity from the cartoon.
I love how show accurate Blackarachnia looks, the black spider legs don't bother me that much. I was genuinely expecting her robot mode to be redesigned so she doesn't have boobs, so I'm (pleasantly) surprised she still has them. Just going by that photo, it looks like an extensive retooling into Tarantulas would be fairly easy, a different head and torso is all that would need to be done.
Warpath is impressive, I'm glad that he seems to be a big chunky figure and not Minibot size. He's been elevated from the maybe pile to a definite purchase for me.

I'm looking at these, and I'm getting super pumped. I mean, I've been wanted some good Beast Wars toys for years, more than what Thrillin' 30s gave us. Next hope now is... Transmetal. I know it's a long shot, but they were a HUGE part of the show and are nostalgic for a lot of people. Doesn't even have to be a part of Kingdom, just pleeeeeeease Hasbro, give us Transmetals.

I wouldn't be surprised if Warden set this up and left notes on how to continue to apply his design approach to continue through bw on to rid and and maybe even armada and onwards

For those concerned about the repercussions of these being leaked (why nobody cared when most of Earthrise was leaked I dunno), it's partially Hasbro's fault. Normally we would have gotten our first preview at SDCC, but with the event canceled and Hasbro still not doing a proper replacement online this stuff was bound to get out as we come ever closer to their release date which is now around 4 months away! If Hasbro did Comic-Con@Home or their own even in August they could have gotten ahead of the leaks (the visual ones anyway).

Anyway, I love everything we've seen so far. I'm a little put off by Cheetor's rear cat legs, but they aren't that bad. Blackarachnia looks good, but it's hard to judge no knowing what the alt mode looks like. Warpath I have very high hopes for, it looks like he'll have a lot of cartoon accuracy with big treaded feet and that Autobot symbol front and center on the tank. I think he could still have a shield, just on the back sort of like Cliffjumper.

It's only because of offsite drama that wasn't the case before, most people aren't really going to have any empathy for whoever got fired mostly because they broke rules in the first place by leaking them.

Sucks for them that they got fired but they brought that upon themselves.

Exactly, if you're going to play the game, you need to learn how to play it. If the leakers had kept quiet in the first places then they would have worried over their job.

Even if they had done a SDCC panel, they wouldn't have shown off any Kingdom stuff since they don't do next-line reveals until NYCC or Toy Fair. An SDCC panel would have just been more Earthrise, Netflix, Selects, and maybe more Studio Series or Cyberverse if we were lucky.

Posting this since I have a hair cut appointment later today which inspired me to make this, after a half hour I created this Doctor monstrosity that Transforms into a surgeon chair which is equipped with sensors and laser cutters befitting a surgeon, just a little joke about how the last Generations Warpath was just a tiny legends that lacked the most prominent Warpath trait.

I just want to see my gal Airazor finally get a good figure. I'm also crossing my fingers that Windblade finally gets a figure in this line (though given how much is already leaked, I guess we're not getting one in WFC :( ) If not, maybe I'll make a custom out of Airazor

I do find it weird that the WFC trilogy looks like it will only barely include Bumblebee via the Netflix line and won't cover Windblade at all.

It's not like Windblade is starving for a new figure. I mean, she's had how many new toys of her own since debut? And across Generations Thrilling 30, Legends, SDCC, RID 2015, Titans Return, and Cyberverse?

For some reason, I don't remember about the earthrise leaks. From what I remember, they did a good job keeping things close to the chest. I know the first time we saw the quintesson, arcee, shuttle micromasters, scorponok and allicon were at their designated reveal events.

Yes, but how many good ones? The TR one is OK but it's a Headmaster (not everyone's cup of tea) and kinda overly bulky, her OG toy is pretty lackluster, the RID one is probably the best but has a weird face and no wrists, and I don't think Cyberverse has given her a good figure yet.
