Iron Pig's Bio
Showed up at Decepticon HQ a few years ago, claiming she was eager to once again serve alongside Soundwave and his kids just like she used to in amphibious operations in SE Asia and the Pacific. Although glad to have any new faces in those trying times, with their old Serpent's Lair recruitment center temporarily shut down, her newfound allies finally got perturbed by 3 things:
1.) Parts of the stories she's always telling about the good ol' days just don't make any sense: Soundwave's never been known to wield a sword or have huge human letters on his chest. Some of her fellow cassettes sound vaguely familiar, but with their personalities, coloration, and faces all wrong, including a yellow guy who sounds like Ravage but actually claims he's a dog.
2.) At least three of these guys also sound a lot like Ramhorn, whom she herself strongly resembles except for...
3.) ...her bizarre, constantly smiling face, which along with her squeaky voice makes her seem like something Soundwave might've created solely to infiltrate Hello Kitty's home planet. Not impossible, as Squawkbox was likely conceived as a ringer for the Decepticon basketball team, but most 'cons who spend more than a day around her start to get uneasy. They appreciate her willingness to pack enormous cannons onto her tiny frame when she goes into battle, but even then her laughter while blowing enemies to smithereens bears an eerie resemblance to how the Autobots' most efficient killing machine Wheelie used to eviscerate their friends with his lightsaber.
So it was perhaps inevitable that she was eventually stuck with The Misaligned, where she's only the 5th most disturbing/annoying 'con, tops. Only Mantessa gets really irritated with her, as Iron Pig frequently outperforms her as a medic, despite not having any of her scientific training or ambition, and apparently not even noticing this fact herself.
What is the incredible secret of Iron Pig's origin?!? The answer may well be decided on Carob Island...
