Fellow Seibertronian
Autobot Sarge has discovered that Infamous
Ebay seller
SPXtoys has once more "aquired" a test shot for a upcoming release. This time it is the upcoming
Transformers Movie Cell Phone Transformer in all it's colored glory.
It is also worth pointing out that it features autobot faction insignia on each display. But probably one of the more cooler features is the time on the clock is 7:47 foreshadowing the July 4 '07 release date of the movie.
You can view the test shot
here.

As many of you know, I like to provide you with major world events when they happen such as 9-11, Hurricane Katrina, the 2005 Christmas Tsunami and the deaths of American Presidents. I think it is important to share this information with the massive worldwide population of Transformers fans that visit SEIBERTRON.com. Yes, there are things that happen in the world that aren't Transformers related.
On that note, a political figure that was head of the country that serves as ground zero for the mid-east turmoil was executed earlier this evening. Weapons of mass destruction or not, ex-President Saddam Hussein is no longer among us.

Dark Ops has picked up Cybertron Primus on clearance at a
Target. The god of Transformers went for $23.98. This is a perfect oportunity for people who passed, or those of us who would like a second to keep minty fresh or to pose in both modes.
Here is what he had to say:
Dunno if I missed the announcement over the holidays, but I just grabbed Primus
for $23.98 at the Target Store in Ames, IA
Good luck!
Also we have reports from fellow Seibertronian
Liege Evilmus that the Alternators are also on clearance at $13.95 and the 6" Titaniums are $10.95.
Now this isnt confirmed to be nationwide, but it is pretty probable since it is that season. It is also worth mentioning that this deal is probably NOT worldwide
yet.

Transformers Movie has updated their site to include the winning lines from the Make Optimus Prime Speak competition of a few months back. These are now voiced by Peter Cullen, the actor who voiced the great character in the original Transformers cartoon and will voice the Autobot leader in the upcoming Michael Bay movie.
To listen to these lines, go to the
main page of the site and click on the link underneath the planet cybertron.
In a related story,... Snarlaboo, a member of the
Don Murphy Board (which are also known as Stooges), also received a thank you letter from Peter Cullen offering to thank the fans for their support. The following has been taken directly from
the post on the DM board.
"
Dear Dave,
I thank you for the Stooges shirt, all all who contributed. Yet there is more than just thank you, for I have deep appreciation and grateful feeling for all of you. To know that after all these many years, you care, leaves me quietly humbled.
There is more however. In your acceptance of Optimus Prime, all of you share with me a mutual respect for what we think a hero should be. That simple bond ties a multitude of meanings together. Of hope, respect, integrity, honor and courage. I am proud to be one of you.
Honorary Stooge. It sounds somewhat odd, but I understand the significance and lighthearted intention. I suppose Curly, Moe, Shemp or Larry is in all of us sometimes, and reminds us not to take life too seriously.
Please send alond my gratitude to Robert Scott, Billy Edwards, Nancy Smythe, Nadja Tegen, Miles Ritchings, Albert Lee, Drew Early, Perter Verdi, Mike Holdcroft, Brian Leichtnam, Kev Johnson, Ollie Hurd and Matt Noades.
There is quite a lot of activity here in Hollywood. Sightings of car chases in the valley, and dry river beds filled with Transformer activity. I can only imagine the emmense work that Michael Bay is accomplishing. He is a gifted and talented man, and judging from the way he treated me in our couple of meetings, I am poised with confidence and eager anticipation to work with him.
I recieve some feedback from some internet hounds, and learn of your enthusiasm and continued support. I share the same hopes for dear friends Frank Welker to join the team, and bring full circle the ultimate dream. "Hold onto your dreams, The future is built on dreams".
I sometimes dream of restoring an old Freightliner, and painting it up like Optimus Prime, to drive among the hills and dirt roads of my liitle town. Perhaps I will. You have all certainly inspired me to do such things.
Well Dave and friends, "Till all are one." I remain your indebted friend, and keep you all in my thoughts as we count down to what I believe will be more than meets the eye!
A proud honorary Stooge,
Peter Cullen"

Fellow Seibertronian
megaconvoy has reported seeing 20th Anniversary DVD Optimus Prime on clearance at
Wal Mart. If this is chainwide, this is a great opportunity to snag a second on or a first. Here is what he had to say.
I don't know if it's chainwide, but I just saw 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime on clearance for $50 at Wal-Mart. It's not a bad price if you don't have one already.

HOOKS of
Corvusonline.net has posted some interesting information, which at this time is just rumor. According to Hooks IDW will be reprinting Target: 2006 under the Generations title. Also the covers will be done by Nick Roche and Josh Burcham. As for now this is just a rumor. If you want to know more about Target: 2006 then check out
Seibertron.com's Vector Sigma Database.
Update:
It looks like this rumor is no longer a rumor but a fact! Our own Josh has dropped by to confirm this with quotes from Chris Ryall.
The first one:
Quote (Ford DeceptiFocus @ Dec. 24 2006,2:02)
Curious--why is Generations getting new numbering after #12 & how will this be done and why?
Ryall: We're going to be reprinting all of Target: 2006 next, so we thought we'd start fresh with those.
And the Second:
Quote (UltraPrime @ Dec. 26 2006,6:05)
How will the Target: 2006 reprints work? I mean, the UK stories were half-size (the US strips were split over two weeks for those not in the know). Target: 2006 was an odd-number of parts, so just putting 2 stories in one issue will leave an odd part.
Ryall: We're gonna do three parts, ad-free, in the final issue.
