Remember the buzz that was created a while ago about Transformers the Ride? Well we can give you an update on that!
It's official blog, yes rides have blogs now, has posted a photo of the Allspark Vault room.
We've mirrored it below, to read the original blog post just click the image!
After that, we continue our earlier discussion of non-mainline toy collecting this time focusing on "desk fodder", like Robot Heroes, Mighty Muggs, Transforming Watches, and Fast Food Toys. Are you a fan of these types of toys? Let us know!
From there, we start the harder discussion of "finishing" a collection, or defining the edges of your collection. Further topics including display of and sharing your collection, and much more.
Finally, our usual Bragging Rights section transforms into an ad hoc discussion of third party toys filling holes in your Neo-G1 collection. Watch everyone get hot and bothered!!!!

After several delays in picking a winner for last month's Seibertron.com/Geek To Me "Transformers Headmasters DVD Set" Sweepstakes (thanks to Comic-Con, a flood, and other craziness the end of July spawned), we have finally chosen a winner for this contest. Without further ado, we chose fellow Seibertronian Daddycon who shared the following favorite memory from his childhood which involved Transformers:
Daddycon wrote:My favorite memory would have to be the large Transformer battles my father and I had during the early days of Generation 1 (these replaced the Star Wars battles we used to have before Transformers came out). Most Saturday mornings would involve a big Autobot / Decepticon smackdown with one of us eventually pulling out my large Shogun Warrior (Getter Dragon) to wipe out the other side. This scenario now plays out between me and my 5-year-old son (and my wife) who has inherrited my G1 / G2 collections (along with various pieces from Beast Wars through Animated and the Bayverse). My father still joins both of us extending the fun across three generations. I get to relive my childhood, my father gets to be a kid again, and we pass the fun along to my son. Robots are cool in and of themselves, but the family bonding they have created in my family has been priceless.
This contest was merely about striking a chord with us. To me, Daddycon's memory is the epitome of what a hobby like this should be about. As a father of a 2 year old, I can tell you that there is a simple amazement that happens when you watch your child play with a Transformers toy and discover the joy of turning it back and forth between a robot and a car (thank you Hasbro for Playskool's Rescue Bots Bumblebee). Daddycon's memory also hit home with me because I remember the big battles my Grandma Betty and I used to have when I was a little kid. I would spend hours and hours setting up the battle landscape with Autobots on her side (she thought Optimus Prime was a "beautiful red truck" and liked Blurr because her initials were BLR) and Decepticons on mine. She somehow always "won".
Daddycon will be receiving a copy of Shout Factory's Transformers Headmasters DVD set, courtesy of our friends at Chicago RedEye's Geek To Me. Congrats again Daddycon!

The confirmation for Transformers #81 isn't the only Transformers comic related news from this years SDCC, please read the following transcript of Hasbro's and IDW's "Transformations" panel by Supreme Convoy.
The new Transformers editor Carlos Guzman recapped that the ongoing Transformers series bi-weekly for the Chaos Theory arc in #22 & 23 with James Roberts & Alex Milne
#24 will being Mike Costa, James Roberts, & Livio Ramondelli Chaos arc will have the Transformers going back to Cybertron “where things get crazy.”
#25 will be the Police Action arc with Mike Costa and Brandon
IDW revealed that #125 is the total of all the IDW Transformers comics published. They revealed the issue will be titled The Death of Optimus Prime, which shocked the crowd.
IDW also announced a digital exclusive comic called Autocracy, which will be an 8 page comic released bi-weekly, written by Flint Dille, Chris Mowry, and Livio Ramondelli.
IDW announced after #125, there will be two brand new ongoings. Transformers: Robots in Disguise by John Barber and Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye by James Roberts. These will not be a series reboot and will pick up after the events of Chaos.
Mike Costa’s run will come to an end with Chaos. Everything he’s been building to will culminate with this arc. This was the story he had to tell and it was time to hand off the Transformers to new creative teams. He however, will stay on Cobra.
On the GI Joe front the biggest announcement was after the Cobra Civil War there will be an arc called Cobra Command, featuring the first mission by the new (still yet to be revealed) Cobra Commander.
During the panel, IDW also announced they have the Magic: The Gathering license and will make comics with the franchise in the future.
In regards to Transformers #81, Chris Ryall said that there wasn’t enough interest to pursue it. During BotCon, he did a poll with the attendees. Fans seemed to want more Animated comics as opposed to following up with the Marvel run.
At the very end of the panel, Chris Ryall pulled the rug out from under us and showed us the last slide. “FURMAN & WILDMAN. TRANSFORMERS #81. 2012.” The room went CRAZY. Ryall said that they’ve been listening to fans on Twitter and fan polls, fan petitions and are giving us what we want. The plan is to publish #81 through #100, wrapping up everything Simon Furman had planned.
I asked the panel about #125. Will Bumblebee become a Prime? Mike Costa said, “I can’t answer that, senator.” (It’s this fan’s hope Bumblebee becomes a Prime!) Ryall did say that they have big plans for the character.
A fan asked if there are plans to wrap up the Dreamwave storylines. Another fan screamed, “Boo!” The room laughed and the panel said there were no plans.
Ryall teased that there are plans for a Transformers/GI Joe crossover
